I hate the idea of going Hollywood

But I'm California dreaming

I don't want more glib endings

Plastic resolutions

Or more Disney machine media

I hate to simply follow what's popular

And yet I want to send a message

I love Virginia

It made me who I am

Even if I'm not that good of a person

Yet I feel the need to leave

To go into the world

And make something

I just hope I can make real art
