(Zero - Games)

     Nixie watched from the top of her sketch book as people of South Side High roamed around her. No one noticed her, they never did. She was just a shadow in a lonely corner.

    She's only ever had one friend and she moved away at the end of freshman year leaving Nixie alone. But Nixie didn't really care she was used to being alone she's practically been alone since she was eight.

    Her mom and dad always worked trying to give Nixie the best life she could have, which in Nixie's opinion was stupid, all she wanted was a functional family that didn't care about stock prices more than their daughter getting an A on a hard English assignment.

    Nixie let out a sigh and as the bell rang and packed up her stuff to go to History. The only upside of going to South Side was it was a small school meaning she didn't have to walk that far for useless classes.

    As she walked to class she couldn't help but join the small crowd that stood around two boys who were 'sparring' in the halls.

    She rolled her eyes and muttered a 'pathetic' when she noticed it was only two boys who went by the names of Fangs and Sweet Pea and walked away.

    She entered the smelly English room and walked to her seat in the far back and placed her notebook, sketch pad, and pencils on the small desk. With a heavy sigh she took a seat and continued on her drawing.

    Currently she was drawing a tree, Nixie liked to draw trees she also had an obsession for drawing sunsets. She loved the way she captured the bright blue water and the reflection of the sun on the water it was just unreal.

    But, unfortunately, life was very real at the moment. Laughter echoed through the classroom as Fangs, Topanga, Simon, Toni, and Sweet Pea entered the classroom talking loudly and joking around.

   Everyone knew who they were, they also knew not to mess with them. Just like they knew not to mess with Nixie though out of that group one person seemed not to get the memo. Sweet Pea seemed to always be messing with Nixie.

   Whether they were in class or just happen to run into each other he was always a pain in the ass. He liked to throw pieces of paper in Nixie's hair playing a sort of game to try and upset her.

   And now he was seated next to her with his best friend, Toni Topaz, in front of him and the rest of his little group surrounding him.

  "Blue. Hey, whatcha drawing." He taunted as he placed an elbow on the desk and leaned over the to see. Nixie was faster though, she pushed the elbow he had rested on the desk causing Sweet Pea to almost whack his head on the desk. "Hey! That's not nice." he muttered rubbing his elbow.

    Nixie just gave him a glare a a small hiss then slumped back in her desk and continued her tree.

    It was too quiet and Nixie had gotten concerned, well the class was usually silent but on her left the small group of snakes seemed to be up to something. Now she had gotten even more worried when she heard a small giggle from Topanga, then she felt a deep breath from beside her making her elbow shoot out and knock into the chest of the person next to her.

    Sweet Pea let out a loud yell catching the attention of the teacher and the rest of the class mates. "Something wrong back there?"He asked with a raised eyebrow.

   "Nix-"

    "Be careful Sweet Pea. Sorry about him he dropped his pencil and went to grab it, guess the desk got him." Nixie answered giving the teacher a small pout.

    He nodded, "Well be careful, you break it you buy it."

    Nixie gave the small group beside her a wink and continued back to what she was previously doing.

All the group could do was stifle their laughs at Sweet Pea's shocked face.

   So if you are wondering the other people I added are not real serpents but they always hang out in the background so I named them.

   Nixie and Sweet Pea have a little rivalry going on and. If you can't tell Nixie is sort of a bitch, but sweet pea isn't called sweet pea for nothing.
