"Osore! Can we go?" Nora begged her companion.

"Aren't you the leader?..." Osore sighed.

"Oh yeah...we're going!" Nora decided she wanted to check out the festival and see if it was any fun.

"Then I guess it's settled! When is it?" Osore asked KK.

"Uh...it begins in 2 minutes." KK told them.

"Then why are we waiting around here!" Nora yelled as she dragged Osore outside. They were in amazement at how fast the Kyubi's prepared.

"W-Wow..." Nora was star-struck by the pretty décor as she looked above. The lush canopy of the trees prevented any sunlight from seeping in and cleverly placed lights made the village appear to be bathed in starlight.

"Isn't the village so pretty?! It's my first Foxfire Festival since they only happen every once and a while." KK explained. The group of 3 explored around for a bit. They stopped by some booths selling candy apples, special fruits from the forests, and some candy Nora had never seen.

"Osore! I want it, I want it! Buy it for me!" Nora begged him.

"Don't you have all of the money..." Osore sighed in defeat.

"Oh yeah..." Nora walked up and purchased a bar of candy before turning around and buying 4 more.

"Why did you buy 5?!" Osore yelled at his captain and she giggled.

"It's a party so let's party!" Nora cheered and threw the bars into a group of some kids who all rushed to get one. Osore shook his head and laughed, admiring her kindness. KK led them to some main seating area and they sat down. KK followed her father onto the stage.

"We'd like to welcome you to our 7th Foxfire Festival! It means a lot you'd go all out for the Kurama this year." Kirin Kitsune exclaimed and Nora felt on edge for some reason.

"Who's ready to give our leader the sacrifice!" Kirin yelled and everyone cheered.

"This year's will be my lovely daughter, Kaen Kitsune!" Kirin said and KK was shocked. She turned to run but her legs have been chained by a guard. She vainly struggled to free herself and fell to her knees in tears. Suddenly, from the forest, a loud roar was heard.

"What the hell..." Osore was in disbelief at the scene before his eyes, hand on his dagger and ready to fight.

"It's the Kurama!" Kirin cheered as he pulled a knife from his pocket. Before he could swing, a loud crack was heard and everyone looked. Nora had a glare and the crack was her bending her legs and cracking the wood under her.

"Die..." Her words slipped out effortlessly as she shot off the seat and slammed her fist into Kirin's face.

"Osore! Protect KK! I'll go fight this Kurama thing!" She waved at him and shot off Kirin like a springboard, leaving him passed out.

'Good luck Nora...' Osore thought as he jumped over to the stage.Nora zipped through the forest, looking for the sound. Branches slapped across her face but she ignored them. This beast wouldn't get away with almost getting her friend killed. She suddenly saw a giant metal thing behind some branches and stopped. She walked towards it and saw a young man operating it. He had short black hair and brown eyes. He was about 5'7 feet and wore robes and sandals.

"Hey! Are you Kurama?" Nora asked him. He stopped in his tracks. This person wasn't a Kyubi.

"W-Who are you?!" He yelled to her.

"I'm going to kick your ass apparently." Nora said as she rushed in, arm back and fist cocked like a gun. The man yelped and ran away. Nora sighed and sped up.

"Stop running coward!" Nora yelled and she punched but he slid right to avoid it.

"I'm not 'coward'! My name is Noizu!" He yelled.

"I don't care!" Nora yelled. She didn't know why but she really hated this guy. She began blindly swinging and he bobbed and weaved between her punches.

"Whoa! You're a real hothead!" Noizu chuckled as he caught her fist and uppercutted her in the chin. Nora flew up and crashed into the ground, dust flying.

"Y-You're tough..." Nora whipped her face and got up. Nora rushed back in and began throwing punches. The man jumped back to dodge and then punched at her face. Nora brought up her arms and blocked with her forearm.

"So, you're finally thinking in this fight!" Noizu rushed in and wrapped his arm around her to prevent her from moving back. He began thrusting his fist into her stomach. He started slow and sped up, more blood coming out of her mouth.

"I-Is that all you got?..." Nora felt her consciousness fading.

"I suppose so, you?" Noizu joked.

"Force Push!" Nora's aura flared to life and Noizu flew back into a tree.

"Alright, time to get serious." Nora smirked. Noizu was shocked and growled.

"Damn human!" He rushed her and got stabbed by seemingly nothing.

"W-What did you..." Noizu growled, getting more and more annoyed. Nora screamed out and rushed in. Noizu began getting punched by the air.

"W-What the hell are you?!" Noizu yelled as he felt fist after fist pummel him.

"Nora Masayoshi!" Nora yelled out.

"Invisible Giant Fist!" Nora cocked back her arm and released it. A gust of wind hit Noizu's face before the attack did and his face was crushed in and he was sent flying like a bullet. He crashed into a tree and heard a huge crack as his bones shattered.

"That was for KK." Nora took a deep breath as she skipped over to the man.

"W-Who are you?!" He screamed in fear of the little girl.

"I thought I told you dummy!" Nora laughed. "I'm the one who's going to kick your ass." Her sweet and innocent smile became a smirk and she began more sly and teasing.

"Y-You're a freak! A monster!" He yelled and tried to move away but couldn't move.

"Yup! Have fun here!" Nora ran off towards Osore. During the same time as Nora's fight, Osore was protecting KK.

"Listen boy...back away from her." The crowd tried to convince Osore to give up KK.

"No." He flashed his dagger and his muscles bulked up. He bent his legs and readied his dagger.

"I'm sorry boy, but we need that girl!" One man lunged and Osore's Fear Fang sliced across his face, cutting his flesh and spilling his blood. He winced and backed away.

"Listen kid! You'll anger the Kurama!" A woman yelled.

"Let him get angry, I'll make you all fear me more than that overgrown fox." His eyes flashed purple to everyone under his spell and he stepped forward and half the crowd ran.

"You fool! You're nothing!" A man yelled as he ran at him.

"You're the fool for thinking I would hesitate." Osore punched him in the face, not wanting to resort to killing immediately. He broke his nose and knocked the man out.

"Anyone else feeling like fighting?" Osore asked the crowd and reluctantly, they shook their heads no.

"But kid! The Kurama will kill us now!" Some began to cry.

"Nope! I took care of that Kurama and it fled so you're saved!" Nora yelled, just arriving after her fight.

"We should leave, Nora." Osore told her.

"Yeah, good idea!" Nora replied. Osore broke the chains on KK's feet and freed her.

"Are you ok?" Osore asked her. KK stared into the boy's eyes and it was like a sudden switch flipped in her brain and she turned bright red.

"U-Uh yeah! Thanks for saving me..." KK twirled her orange hair.

"Anytime." Osore replied as he gave her a thumbs-up before Nora told him to hurry up and stop flirting. He yelled at her to stop joking and followed after her with his hands in his pockets.

'I'll miss those two...' KK thought as she sighed in relief.

"Oi! Osore, can we steal this?" Nora pointed to a dune buggy. It was covered in dirt, mud, and leaves but other than that looked like a nice ride.

"Yeah sure." Osore agreed and hopped in the driver's seat and twisted the ignition switch. The engine roared to life with a nice sound and Nora cheered and Osore was about to step on the gas.

"Wait!" A voice called out.

"Huh? KK?" Nora scratched her head in confusion.

"If it's ok with you, I wanna come with you! The village isn't my home anymore...I could never stay here after that so please!...take me on your journey!" KK bowed her head, hoping they would accept her.

"Sure, you're really cool and Osore would miss you." Nora said, before asking Osore how fast the buggy went.

"How the hell would I know?!" Osore yelled before turning to the stunned KK. "Are you going to get in?"KK nodded and she ran off on all 4s and got in the backseat. Osore stepped on the gas pedal and they drove out of the forest. It relatively quick, going 50 miles per hour at max speed.

"So, what is your mission anyways Nora?" KK asked as she laid on her tails like pillows.

"Well my brother is really really sick and I heard about a tree that grants immortality so I decided I would journey out and save his life!" Nora declared.

"Where should we go now?" Osore asked his boss.

"Uh...what's nearby?" Nora asked.

"Oh! We could go to Aquatina! It's a city nearby that runs on hydropower and it's so cool! I've always wanted to go one day!" KK said.

"Ok! Osore! We're going to Aquatina!" Nora declared to the group.
