The Barve family

Pradeep Barve – a 50-year-old guardian of the Barve family who has the love and care of each and every member of his family. A foreseeing personality who knows the in and out of the trade as taught by his forefathers. He would not let any danger or even the tiniest hurt fall on his family. His textile business, Paramparik Pvt. Ltd. has made a mark in the international market being adorned by many celebrities all over the world. He is the mentor of his children who respect and love him. They would never go against his wishes and would always respect his decisions.

Radhika Barve – 42-year-old wife of Pradeep Barve. An interior designer by profession who has clients from commoners to celebrities alike. Being a businesswoman has not stalled her away from her responsibility as a doting wife, a caring mother. She would never imagine to contravene her husband and always respects his decisions.

Priyanka Barve – a 26-year-old strong headed girl. The eldest of the Barve family, responsible, a doctor by profession. She is married to Akash Dave and has a 5-year-old son, Ankush. She is a loving daughter, a caring wife and mother. Pratibha always looks up to her for any advice and suggestions just like a daughter to her mother.

Prakash Barve – a 24-year-old young man. the second eldest of the Barve family. He works in his Dad's company, Paramparik Pvt. Ltd. as a CFO carrying out his duties as an accountable businessman noting down all the dos and don'ts of the trade which would help in developing the SWOT of his company.

Prathibha (Pia) Barve – a 20-year-old cheerful, lively girl who loves her family and friends. She is studying for her MBA from the university and is in her first year. She is the naughtiest child of her parents. Being the youngest is her advantage, being pampered by her elder brother and sister.

The Joshi family

Harshvardhan Joshi – a 72-year-old elder of the Joshi family. The father of Hemant Joshi and grandfather of Harish, Himanshu, Hardik and Naina. He had his share of hardship during his struggling days as a factory worker, which has strengthened his heart and mind to achieve the success as the owner of the prestigious Steel industries, Kansya Steel industries Ltd. Many competitors have come and tried to destroy and tarnish the name of this industries, but failed in vain. As being a businessman, he had learned the art of being sagacious and callous when required making him the underground boss feared by one and all.

Hemant Joshi – a 51-year-old son of Harshvardhan Joshi. He is the father of his proud children – Harish, Himanshu, Hardik and Naina. He remarried Nithya after 2-years demise of his loving wife Harshini. He is the Vice – Chairman of Kansya Steel industries ltd. He loves and adores his little family. The most loved by his youngest – Hardik and Naina who would never hurt their father. Harish and him share only the business dynamics.

Nithya Joshi – a 40-year-old wife of Hemant Joshi. She is aware of the fact that she is the second wife of her husband which has made it complicated to her to blend with the Joshi family. But her pampering to her husband has made it easy for her to strive as the homemaker and head of the Joshi household.

Harish Joshi – a 31-year-old man, independent and cold hearted. He lost his mother to cancer when he was in his early teens. his father remarried which was disliked by him. His step mother, Nithya hated him for his dislike towards her entry in their life as their mother. From then on, Harish had an unknown hatred towards woman who would trap and ringed men in their little fingers.

Himanshu Joshi – a 28-year-old flirtatious young dashing man. He is well known for his social ability to charm people and make them fall head over heels for him. He is often scolded by his elder brother to control his flirty nature which would sometimes land him in trouble. He loves his younger brother and pampers his youngest sibling.

Hardik Joshi – a 26-year-old practical handsome man. He only believes in hard work and that there is no shortcut to success. He is the mentee of his grandfather who appreciates his proud upbringing. He is always the scapegoat for Himanshu's and Naina's practical jokes. He tolerates them only because they are his siblings. A fanatic gym goer who ignores flirtatious girls and is in a serious 4-year relationship with his loving girlfriend Sanya who loves him and his family like her own.

Naina Joshi – a 15-year-old sweet bubbly youngest of the Joshi family. The daughter of Hemant and Nithya Joshi. The apple of her father's eyes and the loving pampered sister of her brothers. She is in her mid-teens which makes her vulnerable to certain situations but she always has her brothers to support and protect her from any kind of problem.

Other Characters

Lucky – a 21-year-old man who is the best friend of Pia. He studies MBA in the same university as Pia and is in the final year. He loves his friend and would do anything to see a smile on her face. She has been his friend from childhood so they share a special bond with each other. Pia knows for a fact that he likes boys more than girls. And she respects his decision and choice of life.

Sanya Mehra – a 23-year-old mature women working as a CA in Kansya Steel industries ltd. She is an orphan and lives with her maternal uncle and aunt. She fell in love with Hardik when he protected her from her co-worker who misbehaved with her. She was aware of his cold nature but was appreciative of his sweet bond towards his family.
