"No," Harish stopped his kisses and looked at her who worded her guilt.

He saw her shaky eyes and asked her the reason.

She pushed him with all her might and breathed heavily. She then rushed to the washroom feeling guilty and shameful.

Harish got confused at her behaviour. He knocked the washroom door calling her out. But she kept her mum.

"Pia, what happened? Are you ok? please you are scaring me?"

Pia looked at her image in the mirror and her lips quivered at the moment that disgusted her.

She removed her saree and stood below the cold shower to wipe off his dirt.

She was disgusted by his touches and scrubbed to get his scent off her.

After her gruesome shower session, she saw the helpless woman who had been dragged into this mess.

After the revelations that she had discovered about Harish and his playboy life. It disgusted her so much that she could only sympathise with him. But she never once wanted to marry him. She wanted to save him from the evil clutches of his enemies who had targeted him for an unknown reason.

It was her mission to save Harish and not be involved with him.

Harish waited for her, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Finally, when she came out in her night suit. He went near her and held her shoulders asking her if she felt any uneasiness, whether there was a need for medical attention.

Pia avoided his eyes and shaked her head as a no.

She freed herself from him and went to sleep on the couch, puzzling her husband.

"Pia, the bed is large enough for both of us. Why are you sleeping on the couch?" Harish realised that his Pia was avoiding him and not giving him the proper reasons.

Harish tried to grab her hand and take her to the bed. Pia shrugged his hands and glared at him.

He then screwed his eyebrows and caught hold of her arms staring into her eyes.

"Why?!! Why are behaving like this? what did I do, huh?" Pia jolted his hands looking angrily at him.

Harish moved her face to his by grabbing her chin. He was frustrated at her ignorance and wanted answers for it.

"What did you do?!! You are asking me this. *scoff* the one who is responsible for all this. Please I beg of you to leave me alone. We can stay in this room but like strangers. Got that?" Pia then turned to sleep but Harish pulled her duvet making her mad.

She grabbed the duvet but his grip was stronger than her.

She kicked his leg to end the stupidity making him fall on top of her. They were so close that a single move would end with them kissing.

Harish saw that she had confused emotions hovering over her true ones.

She had so many barriers to her love for him that he was finding it difficult to remove them.

He saw that she had only hatred for him which she showed by scrunching her eyebrows.

"Get off me! now!!" she ordered him who did what he was told to do.

"Pia, we are married. I don't know the reason for your retaliation, but I will find out," Harish gave his decision to which she scoffed.

"That's what you have been doing so far. Putting your decisions on others without even asking them!" Pia stood in front of him glaring at him to which he smirked.

"Even your anger is so beautiful. Just like your heart, love" Harish tried to touch her wherein she moved back seeing his determination to not give up on her.

She turned her back to hide her true emotions and said

"Don't you dare try to touch me again. And remember as I said, in here we are total strangers. So, don't try to act smart with me,"

Harish scoffed at her words and smiled saying

"Oh, I will obey you alright, love. But don't blame me if you can't keep your hands away from me, hm?" he whispered the last statement near her ears feeling her heartbeat rise.

He smiled at her bodily acceptance to his and the fake act that she was pulling.

She turned to see his faded figure move out of the room, royally.

She slumped on the bed trying to control her breaths. She rubbed her chest to calm down her racing heart at his aura.

He was right she must learn to control herself in front of his Godly image.

The next day

After a long argument, the new couple slept for their baby sleep in their respective places.

The sunrays threatened to pour inside the room hiding two angry birds.

Harish got up at his time to glance around and reminisce the silly argument that he had with her.

Pia was snoring lightly not aware of the naughty husband who would do anything to make her realise his love for him.

Pia felt light showers on her face. She scrunched her face and moved her hands to avoid the water sprays.

Then she heard light giggles from nearby. She tried to open her eyes to see her husband sprinkling water on her in an attempt to wake her, perhaps.

But, wait.

She was not unconscious.

She jolted up and pursed her lips remembering to the right words to curse him.

He then bought the pitcher down and gazed at her angry face.

He came closer and whispered "Good morning, love,"

Harish saw that she was trying hard to hide her smile and he titled his head slowly trying to mirror her expressions.

Before she could understand what was happening, he pecked her nose and made a run for it, giggling.

She low screamed at his acts and threw the sheets down.

"Idiot!"

After their fight for the washroom, the newly weds huffed at each other and went to have their first breakfast with the family.

The dining table

Dadu was instructing the maids to serve Pia fresh fruits if she was not accustomed with their food.

Pia wished her Dadu by touching his feet. She was blessed by him and pecked on her forehead.

Harish gave a hug to his Dadu who was smiling from ear to ear to bless his eyes with the long-awaited sight of his grandson married to his favourite person.

Pia tried to help Nithya who fake smiled at her, removing her hands from the bowl.

"Nithya, let her serve. She should also learn the Joshi customs. Hm?" Harshvardhan ordered his daughter-in-law who hummed at his voice.

Dadu nodded his head to Pia who continued to serve the breakfast.

When she approached Harish to serve his breakfast he gazed at her admiring her sernity in a saree.

He looked at others who were busy in their own world. Taking the chance, he whispered to his lost and busy wife.

"You have the most soft, satin-like tummy I was blessed to touch, my love," Pia jerked at his words and looked at him with a shock.

Harish didn't stray his eyes from her shocked ones. He bit the apple piece from his fruit salad winking at her.

"Hey, Shri! Morning, bro!" Hardik came in the nick of the time to save Pia from getting embarrassed by her Shri.

She covered her tummy with her saree unconsciously earning a scoff from Harish who continued his talks with Hardik.

"Pia?!" Pia heard a familiar voice from the living room. She rushed to see her family that had come to visit her.

She ran to hug her parents and cried in their arms.

Akash went to wish the Joshi elders along with the younger ones.

Hardik told that he would be late for the meeting and advised Harish to take a day off.

"Hardik, I have to attend the meeting too. Remember, we are addressing the new executive board member for the panel?" Hardik remembered the discussion done by both of them in their last meeting.

Pia was listening to her mother and sister talking about the mischiefs pulled by Ankush and smiling in between.

"Pia?!" Pia turned to see her husband calling her very seriously at the doorstep. She glanced at her family who nodded her to go.

She refused at first but when her father strictly told her, she had to go.

She approached him who was smirking at her.

"What?!!" Pia low screamed at him which was audible only to him.

He was just staring at her who was restless at his presence. He moved in closer without her knowledge and looked back at his family.

When he was assured that no one was looking, he immediately pecked her cheeks.

Pia touched the place where he kissed and shouted at him inaudibly "What do you think you are doing?!!"

"I am getting my luck for the day, my love. See you in the evening," He winked at her, bending to her face level and moved out, laughing.

Pia tsked her failing attempt to avoid his touches. She was getting frustrated at herself for not doing so.
