Harish came out to have his breakfast in the dining room.

Harshvardhan was explaining to Hardik about today's meeting which would discuss a party for their company's 30th anniversary celebrations.

Himanshu saw his brothers partaking in an important discussion. So, he just sat on his seat ignoring them to have his daily dose of sibling fights with Naina.

"Hardik, we can have the staff trip to the place they picked during the meeting. Just make sure to arrange for their travelogue as I don't want any problem for any of them. Shri! do come," Harshvardhan called his grandchild beside him.

"Dadu, I have mailed the expenses list of the last week exhibition to Sanya. She would make the changes as required. Just need your sign here, she was very particular about it." Harish took his sandwich while handing over the file to Dadu.

"Shri, have you decided which car are you guys taking for the office trip. Since I wanted to go to Nagpur for your cousins wedding. Your aunt wanted the entire family *huff*. But we know that is an old story. So?" Dadu took his medicine handed over by the nurse.

Himanshu was selecting the gaming categories which he would play for the day with his online gaming buddies. Although he was getting irritated with their talks, and got up to leave for his room.

Dadu asked Harish about his treatment that he was getting from the specialist.

"It's going good, Dadu. I have also almost quitted the vape intake. Which is really a winner for me," Harish was excited to share his progress with his favourite people.

After his initial outbreak at his Pia's approval for marriage, he was depressed for days.

Hardik made all his attempts to make his brother understand that she might not come back to him as she had moved on with Abhishek. But in vain.

At last, he called Rashmi to the rescue who made a logical reasoning with her bestie saying

"Listen, Shri. Even if you succeed in making her yours, there is no guarantee that she would forget that Abhishek guy. Course, she has spent good times with him by going on random dates, family trips as Hardik told me. So, your attempt at having her is a long-lost story. Try to understand, Shri. And moreover, you have come a long way with the treatment. Now I think you have hardly 2 months for the last lap of the treatment. So, I suggest you finish it, not just for yourself, but for Dadu. He deserves it. Don't you think?"

Harish tried to make an attempt to continue his treatment for the sake of his loved ones, who wanted only his good.

Rashmi was happy that at least she succeeded in making him go through the immense treatment for his drug rehab.

"Hm...that's good to know. But don't forget to take the medications advised by the doctor. We want our old Shri back," Dadu caressed his shoulders to express his emotions on the hard work pulled by his grandson to improve for his dear ones.

He tried to smile and told that he had to visit a friend. He took his leave and went towards his car.

He clutched the car door handle upon seeing the most hated people in front of him.

Abhishek and Pia had come to visit Dadu as per his request to meet them.

Pia stopped seeing an angry looking Harish who clenched his jaw and sat on his car to drove off.

Pia was aware of the effect he had after seeing them multiple times in café or at the shopping mall or any random places.

It happens to be a weird coincidence, believe it or not!

The café: Abhishek gifted her the diamond set for her achievement in submitting her project in the university. Pia thought it was weird but didn't discourage her fiancé who had ordered almost a fest in the café to celebrate the good day with her.

Seeing the scene from afar was Harish who had come to update Rashmi on his health development. Rashmi saw the disgusting look on him who requested her to move to out of the café.

The shopping mall: Abhishek wanted to buy a lehenga for his Pia for her first visit to meet his grandma. As they were shopping, Pia saw Harish with Hardik to purchase a gift for Naina on her birthday.

Harish dumped the cloth on the counter angrily and rushed out of the store, seeing the awkward way Abhishek was pampering his Pia.

So, it was obvious for him to react in such an aggressive manner to see the one person who took his Pia away from him.

Pia was heartily welcomed by her Dadu who gave a cold shoulder to Abhishek.

They chatted with the family sharing her happiness to be with her Abhi.

Abhishek liked that Pia was genuinely admiring him in front of her family friend.

He was first reluctant to approach the Joshi family after he found that Pia was the first choice for the Elder son of the Joshi family.

But after seeing her acceptance to him, he relaxed and even agreed to meet the Joshi family of course, minus Harish Joshi. Especially alongwith his Pia.

"So, after two months, huh? That is too soon! How will Pradeep manage to arrange for a wedding at such a short notice?" Harshvardhan tried to elongate the preparations to put his effort into action.

Pia smiled telling him that they had already started the preparations at a fast track.

Even Abhishek confirmed his family's participation and contribution in collaborating with the Barve family for the wedding preparations.

Harshvardhan was rather disappointed but he didn't lose hope. He just smiled in front of the happy couple and thought to work fast to make his grandson happy.

"Abhi! So, nice to see you! *mwah*" Nithya came towards the couple wishing Abhishek with an air kiss on his cheeks totally ignoring Pia.

She backed a little and explained how happy she was at their union.

Pia was confused at why Nithya was so happy at her marriage.

"Abhi, you should promise me that you will look after our Pia with much care and diligent. She was pampered a lot by us *pinches Pia's cheeks*. So, we don't want any complaints from her about you, hm?" Nithya spoke in a teasing manner to which Harshvardhan muttered inaudible cusses at her acts. Abhishek was feeling awkward at her friendliness and just smiled at her words.

Abhishek looked at Pia for saving him to which she excused saying that they were supposed to visit other relatives as per their schedules.

Nithya saw her part of plan working perfectly.

She twirled her hair strand and thought 'poor little soul'.

One month before the marriage

The Naik and Barve family were busy with the marriage arrangements.

Naik office

"Pia, I think we should invite even our school friends. what do you say?" Abhishek was checking the guest list that he and Pia had prepared for the marriage invite.

At not getting any response, he looked up his laptop to find his Pia with shaky eyes, biting her nails as usual. He snapped his fingers in front of her making her smile weirdly at him.

"Yeah, why not?" Pia then got up from the chair, seeing the message on her phone.

"I will be leaving now. I have to attend the boutique with aunty for the fittings. See you, bye." Abhishek saw her leave the cabin in a hurry.

It was not unusual for Abhishek to see her always in a hurry whenever he calls her in his office or for a date. She would always give one or the other excuse to escape from the meetings.

Although, Pia was not like this one month back.

They had bonded well the last three months. But the last month, Abhishek saw a sudden change in her behaviour, where she avoided to engage in any of the marriage activities.

He thought maybe it was marriage jitters. But he wanted to be sure of it.

Pia rushed to the room and clutched the person who had arched his body at a frightful height from the bed. She removed the syringe and jabbed him softly till the medicine could take effect.

She slumped back in the chair looking at Rashmi who gulped with fear at his eyes which had moved back.

Harish had got another jolt of attack. He and Rashmi had gone for lunch in the restaurant below the hotel.

After their lunch, he felt somewhat sweaty and restless. So, he excused himself in the washroom to wash his face.

But as he went inside the washroom, his head twirled and he fainted.

So, Rashmi took him to one of the room in the restaurant and called Pia to rush back to help him.

The next moment, he saw himself in the room with Pia and Rashmi talking to each other.

He tried to sit on the bed, where Rashmi rushed to help him, seeing his weak condition.

Pia was confused and asked him for the sudden attack. She carried the dose of injections to reduce the effect of drug which she had a hunch would come back to her Shri.

"I don't know Rashmi! One moment I was having my food and the next moment I felt my heartbeat race at a high speed. I couldn't understand!" Harish caught hold of his forehead, avoiding Pia as usual.

"Are you taking your medications on time?" Pia asked him who affirmed without looking at her.

Rashmi told her that he had taken the dose before his food when they were at the restaurant.

Pia asked for the medication and looked at the content.

She suspected a foul play and signalled Rashmi to come out outside the room.

"Di! I think we should inspect the medication. Coz I feel that he is being given the wrong one. Just let me check it in my lab. I will get back to you asap. Ok?" Pia explained her thoughts to which Rashmi caressed her hair saying

"You do that, cupcake. But be careful. I don't know. I feel we are also being targeted alongwith Shri. So..." Rashmi told her by clutching her hands.

Pia smiled at her care and spoke

"Don't worry Di. I will take care of myself. You just take Shri home. I think we need to tell this to Dadu asap." Rashmi nodded her head at her words and went inside.

Pia took her bag and bid her bye to leave. She looked at Harish who turned his back.

She approached him to speak before

"Thanks for your concern. But I think Rashmi can handle me. You need to concentrate on your 'wedding' hm?" he then took his coat and went outside, staring at her angrily.

Rashmi felt bad at how Harish behaved with Pia. She clenched her jaw at his response, but was stopped by Pia who spoke

"Leave it, Di. I think what he said is also correct. I am involving too much in this. I should back down."

Rashmi shaked her head and tried to convince her by grabbing her shoulders.

"Don't listen to this idiot! He doesn't know your valuable input in finding the main culprit. We need you, cupcake. Please don't leave us midway!" Pia removed her hand from her arms and nodded weakly.

She walked off from Rashmi's sight and found Harish waiting for Rashmi outside the room. She stopped at his stance and rushed out of the hotel ignoring him, who scoffed at her false acts.
