The Barve and Naik family were discussing the arrangements for the engagement the coming Sunday of Abhishek and Pia.

Abhishek was sitting on the couch sipping on his tea searching for his certain angel.

Priyanka came near him to offer him snacks smilingly. He looked at her with a disappointed look to which she spoke

"She will be back in half an hour. She is busy with her project submission in college. Um... you can relax till that time,"

Abhishek understood as it was the weekday and she had told him about her project submission. So, he just smiled and nodded his head in agreement.

At the university

The back of Pia's university, where the crowd would not linger around at 1 pm on the weekdays was witnessing the scene.

Pia was sitting in the backseat of the Maybach and listening to the elderly man explaining to her the situation at bay.

Pia looked tensed and told him that she had contacted her lab friend taking his help when needed.

The elderly man was happy at her revelations and nodded his head.

Pia looked outside the car and told him that she would leave for now as she didn't want anyone to suspect her, even if she was away from her house.

The elderly man understood her situation and let her exit the car, taking care to send her off safely to her class.

He gazed at her receding figure and called the one person whom he trusted and knew would never disappoint him.

"Yes, we can carry on the procedure from this Friday. Um...you can call her if required, otherwise I don't want her to be disturbed," saying so he kept the call, hoping that his plan would work.

Joshi Residence

Nithya saw a tired looking Harish enter the kitchen to quench his thirst from the intense workout that the yoga instructor had made him do for the past one hour. He was totally drenched out and wanted to drink his tiredness away. But would he ever get peace in that house!

As he was taking the bottle out of the refrigerator, Nithya signalled the maids to go out of the kitchen leaving only her and her 'son' inside.

"I guess you have heard the news?" Nithya took out the cookies from the jar and took a bite of it. She saw how Harish gripped the bottle with an angry stance. He was keeping his mum ignoring her, but she was adamant to get a reply from him.

"Hm, guess she is lucky to have the perfect partner for her. Abhishek is one of the sort after bachelor in town. He is rich, handsome and of course the most courteous of them. I saw him the other day in one of the restaurants and Wow! He was so etiquette! The way he talked, his chivalrous behaviour! I mean no wonder 'your' Pia fell head over heels for him!"

Nithya narrated the last statement going in front of him to see his enraged face. Harish looked at her and threw the bottle on the floor with a bang moving out of the kitchen in rage.

Nithya was as usual successful to make him tensed again. She had promised herself to avenge me for the insult that he had given her at the time of her marriage. She would not let him forget that he had ruined her chance to have a family that would love her like a daughter and not hate her for being the 'second mother' who she never wanted to be in the first place.

Nithya wiped her tears and scoffed to carry on her chores.

At the hostel

Lucky was making the coffee for both of them. Pia was going through his project for the final submission tomorrow. Both of them helped each other to edit and correct for any errors in their work.

"Lucky, I think you should insert the diagram in one page itself as it will show the intricate detail of the procedures. Should I do it?" Lucky nodded his head and told her to do the necessary changes as she felt.

After sometime, Pia was narrating her first date with Abhishek to get an amused look from Lucky as he could not decipher her excitement.

"Well, I am happy that finally there is someone who can put a smile on your face, apart from me. Of course," Lucky munched on his chips watching her make the changes in his file.

Pia smiled at him and nodded her head. But then she remembered the one person who would manage to bring a smile in her face...long time back. She zoned out for a while. Lucky understood her silence and thought to make her forget a certain person. He grabbed her hand and told her that they would go to the park for cycling to stretch their muscles.

Cycling in their favourite park was one of the most relaxing past time for both of them.

In the park

Harish had put his headphone and jogging in the park to calm his nerves after the incident in the house.

He huffed for air after running for a while. He straightened up and grabbed to drink from his sipper.

He saw a known figure cycling through the pathway. Seeing her his smile grew and he wanted to talk to her as he missed her badly.

But he stopped after seeing the figure behind her who called her name to stop her.

Both of them stopped to drink from the sipper. Harish saw that they both shared the sipper to which he frowned at their closeness.

He scrunched his eyebrows and walked away from the sight shaking his head.

"Guess I am invisible for her now,' these thoughts lingered in his mind when he took his bike and drove off home.

Barve Residence

Abhishek was waiting for Pia for the past hour and got disappointed as his family went to bid their byes to the Barve family.

Just then he saw a huffing Pia enter the house in her casuals shocked at the arrival of her in-laws which she had forgotten.

She bit her tongue at her forgetfulness and saw Mrs. Naik approaching her to caress her hairs to bless her.

Abhishek saw the pampering that his family was giving to his future wife and smiled.

"I am sorry. I forgot that today was the day to discuss the engagement," Pia looked apologetically at Abhishek who laughed saying that it was a rookie mistake.

"Its fine! I mean you were tensed with your college work. It is understandable. Um..." Abhishek was hesitating to complete his sentence.

Pia gave a confused look to which he spoke

"A date tomorrow?" Pia was slightly wide mouthed as she didn't expect him to advance so soon. She wanted to avoid the date but was finding it difficult to make an excuse.

Akash came to the silent couple and looked at his better half who mildly understood the reason.

Priyanka approached them and suggested the bowling alley near the city which they would always visit. She further added that they would go like a double date to lessen Pia's tension and awkwardness with her would-be.

Abhishek agreed for the same and told his Pia to accompany him till the car as he had a surprise for her. Pia looked back at her sister who gave her permission for the same.

When they reached his car, he took out a box with a pink ribbon tied to it.

As Pia tried to take the box lid out, Abhishek stopped her saying that she should do it in her room.

Pia's room

Pia went to open her gift and found the most beautiful glittery black sequined dress given by her fiancé.

Pia frowned at the dress as she was not used to wearing such short dresses.

She found a note inthe box which she opened to find the content saying

She saddened at the note but was finding it difficult to decipher the fact that he would give her such a dress on their second meeting.

Maybe he wanted her to dress up for their special night date. So, she thought to reserve it for the special occasion and planned to wear casuals for their double date.

She went ahead to do her night routine and relax her tense muscles.

Hardik was discussing with Sanya on the facts that he had with Rashmi and Harish regarding his health issue.

Sanya was happy that her brother-in-law would get the treatment that he truly needed.

She expressed her happiness saying that she wanted to meet Rashmi and thank her personally for her efforts.

Hardik said that they had invited her for the Dussehra celebrations in the office day after tomorrow. She can meet her then and they can become good friends.

Dadu called for an urgent meeting of the board in his room as he had received a serious news regarding their current order.
