🥀 Chapter 49🥀
The next day.
Hemant bid bye to Nithya at the doorstep of the mansion who smiled the widest. As she moved inside instructing the servants on their daily chores, she listened over the television with the daily news.
"...concluding...the police found an unconscious body in the royal suite of the famous Grand Rose hotel...in the most withered state. The suspect seems to be a girl in her early 20s with fair skin and curly hair. Her purse content revealed her to be a student of the Royal college. A graduate perhaps. The police will look into the matter and tell the full details shortly...next up sports news..."
The glass vase fell down Nithya's hand as she heard the name 'Royal college', the same where Parvathi had received her graduation from.
Without thinking much, she rushed to the police station to negate the unwanted thoughts in her mind.
The police station
"...Mrs. Nithya...we don't much...but it seems...the girl was coerced...badly...by three to four men..." as the police officer said to her the reality of the last night's incident.
Nithya wiped her face to negate the victim to be her daughter. But
As the constable handed her the belongings of the victim, Nithya's eyes blurred and her lips quivered on seeing the rose pendant necklace that she had gifted Parvati on her last birthday.
She requested the police officer to show her the girl.
After much refusal, the officer agreed but warned Nithya to not lose control upon seeing her state.
At the corner bed, Nithya saw her darling in the most cruel state ever. She was covered in a filthy blanket, probably given by the police officials.
"...Bala?!!..." as Nithya called the half conscious girl, Parvathi looked over the voice and moved her rested head to the person.
Parvathi burst into inaudible tears and slumped down the bench with showing off the horror to her mother.
Nithya felt fainting upon seeing the dried blood with fresh blood still oozing out from between her legs.
With gathering her courage, Nithya screamed to call out her driver and take the girl to the hospital.
In the hospital
"...its complicated...her condition is worst that we have seen so far...and I am afraid that there is minimum to zero hope to save her fully..." as the doctor told her the reality, Nithya pleaded her to try to save her daughter.
But as the gynaecologist suggested for an alternate, Nithya could only thank her to help out Parvathi.
After much deliberation, the doctor agreed to keep the patient's info a secret from the press and Joshi family.
Nithya didn't want Hemant and other members know about the horror incident.
After few days, as Nithya was thinking on how did her daughter land in such a horrific incident, her head would burst into nothingness.
Beep!
She looked over the coffee machine to have some caffeine to drive off her headache. As she took the headache tablet from her pocket, the broken chain fell out of her kurta pocket.
Her brows creased with a doubt, she rushed to her room to clear her conclusion.
Nithya's room
She took out her jewellery box, and tried to match the broken chain with the rose necklace.
It matched.
"...no!...Harish?!!" as she voice her thoughts, she heard voice from outside her room.
"...Jack!...No!!...I am not in the mood!!...your last night event was enough for both of us...god knows what that girl would tell to her parents...after we?!!...be content that she couldn't book you for assault, after Dad interfered and pleaded the police officer!!!...now keep the phone!!... I am leaving!!!" as Harish kept the call with the snickering Jack who had apparently mistreated the women in the jeep with whom their car had collided.
The sassy angry girl and her friends called the police on the collision and booked the rich snobs for drunken driving.
Nithya's eyes widened with confirming that Harish was the one who had done this horror to her daughter, with Hemant's help. Harish had been in the same hotel as Parvathi, in his drunk state and the broken chain was found outside his room.
It was Harish, was the validation that Nithya concluded on.
Her breathing stopped for a second and she looked for some air. She rushed to the balcony and opened the window to breath in some air.
"...how could you do this...to my...daughter...my love...oh my...Parvathi!!!...oh my child...I am sorry...I am sorry!!!...*sniffs*" as she cried her inaudible tears, she saw the boy moving out of the mansion with his filthy arrogant attitude.
Nithya wiped her tears with a promise to herself.
"...this is the last time your smiling boy...I will wipe off that smile and this fortune from your head...the Joshi family will pay for your treachery...*manically laughing*..." Nithya tilted her head back and slumped on the floor with only one intention in her now changed evil aura. Revenge.
End of Flashback.
Nithya covered her mouth with not able to stop her tears as she sat on the bench. She wiped her tears and took the phone from her informant who confirmed on the transfer.
Nithya rushed to the cash counter with the remainder of the treatment that the hospital had delayed on non-receipt of the payment.
She knew that the local hospital will not be able to heal her daughter fully and had thought a number of times to take her abroad to treat her wounds properly.
But alas. Finance was the issue.
She needed just one last victim to cover her further expenses, then she would take her daughter from this forsaken land.
Her mind would at times, think to drop out of her revenge stage and return to her daughter. But the hurt that the family gave to her, would bring her back.
Abhishek new Mansion
Sara twirled the spoon with releasing the air from her lips as the baby was gurgling at her aunt to get the attention of the zoned out Sara.
"...baby?!!...turn off the gas?!!" as Rashmi rushed to the kitchen counter, Sara smiled weirdly at her sister who glared at her.
"...what's with you, huh?" as Rashmi asked the pouty Sara, the baby finally sighed after being picked by her favourite aunt.
"...I am bored!!..." saying so Sara played with the baby who squealed on finally getting the teddy bear to torture it with her new teeth.
"...shopping?!!" Rashmi stimulated her to which Sara whined saying that she doesn't and need some brainstorming or click some good photos perhaps.
Rashmi chuckled at her whining but quietened with the glaring eyes piercing her.
"...fine...let me call up my friends here...maybe I can find something for you...ok...lets have some lunch...ok" as Rashmi brushed Sara's hair from behind the couch, the girl smiled and resumed to play with the laughing baby.
Bharve Mansion
Radhika was sitting quietly when Prakash creased his brow on his regular fight with Priyanka over the property dispute.
Pradeep didn't want to hear his millionaire son whine for not receiving his end of the property share and would in between barge into the Bharve mansion to destroy the family's peace.
It was only Priyanka who was able to drive off the stubborn educated illiterate Prakash away from the mansion with her protective shield towards her parents.
Akash was not allowed to involve in the family drama, as Priyanka didn't want her sane husband to lose his cool over the weirdness that Prakash would bring with him, every time.
"...I don't care?!!...I told you...until and unless I get the clear picture of the situation...I will not allow any kind of nonsense in here...get that?!!" as she raised her voice making Radhika concern on the youngest trying to take control over her elder brother.
"...listen?!!...I have no interest in coming to this old rag of a place!!...I have better things to do!!...just give my share...and I will be out of your face!!!..." Prakash howled at her, charging with his red eyes.
"...Don't?!!...out!!...now!!..." a rather angry Akash came between his wife and the mad brother who was not understanding the situation which very well required time for the legal proceedings.
Glaring at his family once, Prakash barged out of the mansion with muttering cusses at them.
Priyanka slumped on the couch with holding her head which was bursting and wiped her face murmuring "...he is so stubborn?!!...."
Pradeep sat beside his daughter and caressed her hairs replying "...I am sorry, child!!...I should just...give him whatever is there in the account...mine and Radhika's joint account...has..."
"...No!...Baba!!...no way!!...that is your savings!!...no need for that!...I will go and see the lawyer...we will deal with this...asap...don't worry, Baba!!..." Priyanka held Pradeep's trembling hands and wiped his tears, trying to console his tensed self with her soft words.
Kansya Industrial ltd.
CEO cabin
Hardik twirled his chair with laughing out loud on hearing the tantrums thrown by Ryma on Rashmi who was whining from across the phone.
"...relax will you!!...she is just a baby!!..." as Hardik tried to pacify the frustrated Rashmi over the phone, who hummed on slumping on the couch.
Sara was making the baby sleep in her room, who wanted her aunt to pamper her once in a while.
Rashmi then enquired about the office trials which was getting out of hand for the CEO and Lucky.
Hardik was rubbing his forehead when he shared his thoughts on the new ad campaign that the international magazine was planning to post in their monthly issue.
The Kansya team was wondering on the fate of the photographer who was a snorty guy himself as compared to their equally snobby VC Harish.
Rashmi snickered at the way Hardik was not able to breath in peace with the daily tantrums Harish was still putting on him.
"...so, you are telling me?!!...that Shri wanted to change the 7 million backdrop which the photographer had ordered from Persia... with the 80k local one...?!!...Man!!!...you are doomed!!...*laughs heartily*..." Rashmi almost rolled over the couch with imagining the smoke coming out of the 6.2ft buff guy who pursed his lips.
"..,yeah!!...go ahead!!...laugh!!...you are not the one to deal with an over grown snorty VC!!..so yeah!!...go ahead!!...humph!!" Hardik was about to keep the phone when Rashmi interrupted him with her take on a solution for the problem.
Hardik felt the little smile spread across his face and thought over it. Harish loved working with young minds and would not object to a change in the oldie photographer with a youngster.
He didn't think twice requesting Rashmi to do the needful, asap.
