6. give you space

You were my gleaming scintillate,
A beautiful light trickling into the darkness of my mind.
I'd play kopfkino in my lucid dreams,
Where we would be amorevolous,
Retrouvaille at the thought of being together again.
But then I'd wake up to the reality that you're gone,
Or rather, you were never there in the first place.
How platitudinously trite, and yet my heart gives chase,
Running after you, even though wanting to give you space.
