Jay's p.o.v

The bang of the gong goes off. I get up as foot steps sound. The door clicks, Wu looks, I wave. He nods, closing the door. I get up, getting my gi on, going outside. I start stretching, Cole comes out, he smiles. "Bout time you came back. He crouches, doing kata's. The guys come out, Abby smiles as she and Nya sit on the side lines. Wu comes, he has his bo staff in hand. I see it coming a mile away as he swung at my legs. "Good to know your reflexes are still lightning fast." The guys laugh at the pun.

"Today's lesson will be to see how Jay can hold against you four." Wu says. "At once." I ask. "At a time." Wu said, sitting beside Nya. I go to the center, Kai walks up, sword in hand. I crouch, going into my stance. Kai lunges, I duck under his sword, wrap my arm around his, and snap it down. He cries, dropping his weapon, his fist aims at my rubs. I side step, taking his arm and wrenching it behind. He goes to kick, I use my knee, jabbing his, and he drops. Holding his arm still, my leg wraps around his waist. Kai struggles but the hold I have, he can't break. He taps and I release. Holding a hand, he takes it. Kai goes to Nya, kneeling.

Zane walks up, he goes into his stance. I draw my arm close, Kai is offence, Zane is defence. He fights from a distance, so, if I get close, I can corner hem. As predicted, Zane shoots ice, I side roll, shooting lightning at hem. He blocks, steam comes up, I make my move. Going in low, I sweep his legs, Zane cries out in shock and falls. Taking a kuni, I put it to his neck, straddling hem with my knees in his shoulders. The steam clears, gasps sound, they expected Zane to win. Standing, Zanetakes my hand, he goes beside Kai.

Lloyd walks up, I crouch. Lloyd is both offence and defence. Lloyd charges, he sends a right hook, ice in his hands. I forgot he uses our powers. Lightning around a my hand as I match hem. He jabs my ribs with lightning, but the metal deflects the jab. His eyes go wide, he miscalculated. Smirking, wrapping my arm around his, I slam Lloyd into the ground. He gets dazed. Lloyd slowly picks himself up, Kai helps hem to the side.

I jump up as Cole's scythe cuts the ground. He keeps at it, backing me into a corner. He thinks he's got me, but, small body, I'm perfect for close corters. Middle finger out, I jab his ribs, arm and leg, all in pressure points. He grunts, hand loosening on the scythe handle. I grasp it, kick off the wall and flip over Cole. The scythe in my hand, I throw it behind me. Cole charges, I jump up, he grabs my leg. Fell for it. Wrapping my legs around hem, I spin, dragging hem to the ground, dust kicking up. When it settles, I have Cole in an armbar. He taps my leg, I let go. Helping hem up, I turn the sensei.

Wu stands, Cole goes to beside Lloyd's side. I don't see it coming but I jump up, land on Wu's staff, kicking it out of his grasp. As I look up, Wu creaks me with a round house. He plants a foot on my back, wrenching my arm straight behind me. "Why do you want to be a ninja again." Wu says, pulling my arm. "To protect....ahh." I yelp as Wu twists my arm. "Why." Wu roars. "So I can prevent what happened to me, doesn't happen to others." Wu loosens his grip. "So I can protect others, my brothers, dad, you, Garmadon, Misako. But most importantly my beloved and daughter." I say. Wu let's go, I roll over and he offers a hand. I take it and he pulls me up. "Never forget that. Let that motivate you." Wu says.

Wu turns, picking up his discarded staff and goes inside. I'm picked up in a hug, Cole laughing. Kai pats my shoulder as we ninja group hug. "Welcome back, ninja of lightning." Lloyd said, I smirk. Yeah, I'm back, so bad guys beware.
