Jay's p.o.v

A week passes since I pranked Kai. Me and Abby are eatting lunch. We're chatting with some of her frineds. Today is going great. I made some cupcakes for us, Zane helped. I was passing them out when shots rang out. I pull Abby under the table along with her friends, the other teachers following. I hold Abby, Nick, Roxie, Rosie, and Dani to me. Six thugs are in the school, I can see them. Abby whimpers, I rub her back. I know something has to be done, and right now, I'm the only one.

Abby looks at me, I shh her. Getting up, I grab a tray. The others watch as I sneak up on one of the guys. "Hey" he turns, smacking hem with the tray, I kick hem into a pillar. Two guys charge, I run up the pillar, roundhouse kicking the thugs. The other three hold pipes. "He's just a teacher with some moves." One says.

I scuff than start laughing. "I'm more than a teacher, I might have been out of commission for a while, but..." I do spinjitzu, lightning surrounds me. Coming to a stop, I'm in my ninja gi. "When my family is attacked, all bets are off." I charge, sending bolts to two of the guys. The third gets a lucky shot in with the pipe he holds. I round on hem, slamming my fist He into the guys neck, a jolt shoots through hem. He drops, joining his buddies in lala land. "Daddy" I hear Abby. Turning, I kneeling as she runs into my arms. The others come out, going outside.

Kai's p.o.v

My heart is racing, six thugs have broke into the middle school. Yeah Jay works there, but, he's out of practice. By the time we land, the commissioner is there, six cars, twice that many cops. Four thugs are cuffed on the sidewalk. The other two, cuffed and unconscious. I run to the middle school, Nya and the others not far. Scanning the area, I see a sight I've wanted to for years. Abby is in the arms of our blue ninja, the ninja of lightning, my brother in arms, Jay. Her arms are wrapped around his neck, he holds her close.

I walk up, Jay nods at me. He goes out, still holding Abby. Four kids run up, they hug Jay. Abby jumps down, the five of them hug. Jay kneels, the four kids hug hem. Jay removes his hood, pulling out his phone. "Call your parents, tell them your okay. Tell them to meet at Frank's cafè." Jay tells them. One by one, the four call their parents. Jay comes to us, I pull hem into a hug. Looking at hem, his eyes are blown, a spark resides inside. Nya pulls hem into a kiss, one Jay returns. He pulls away, holding Nya. "I wasn't scared, if I was going to fight them. If I fell, atleast I went down swinging. No, what fueled me was Abby, Nick,Roxie, Rosie, and Dani, I wasn't about to let them get hurt." Jay says. His hand goes into a fist, he's railed up. "Mr.Gorden." The little boy says. Jay kneels down, Nick hands hem Jay's phone. "A dad called." Jay smiles, taking his phone, he called Chiff back.

Jay's p.o.v

The phone rings twice, dad picks up. 'Jay, son you okay.' "I'm alright, dad." I say. 'I see you right now.' I see a camera, waving. "See that." I say. Dad chuckles 'is Abby okay.' Dad asked. "Abbys what fueled me, along with everyone in the school. I wasn't about to sit around and let them have fun." 'I'm just glad y'all are safe.' Dad said. "I am too, I'ma let you go." I say. 'Be safe son.' Dad hangs up. I look at the kids. "How about we get some food since lunch got reined." I say. The five cheer, the ninja grin. I lead the kids to my SUV, they pile in. Hughes comes up, I turn to hem. "If their with you, I know their safe. Be careful yourself, and thank you for being here." He said, resting a hand on my shoulder. I return it, climing in the SUV. Looking at the kids in my car, the passenger side door opens, Nya slides in. She buckles, I grin, turning the engine and drive.

Pulling up at Frank's dinner, the kids get out, I lead them in. Waving at Frank, he smiles. Pulling out the chairs, Nya and the girls sit. The ninja walk in, sitting down. Frank comes over, he sets menu's down. "Thanks Frank, expect four more." I say. Frank pats my shoulder, he saw the school. I look at the menu, deciding on the hamburger.

Nick is beside Nick, he's messing with his thunbs. I get up, everyone looking at me. Going to hem, placing a hand on his shoulder, he looks at me. I wrap hem in a hug, letting Nick know, we're safe. He smiles, hugging my arm. Frank comes back, he's taking drinks. "I'll have a coke and hamburger with cheese." I tell hem. Frank is shocked but with a smile, takes my order. "Can we have the same, Mr." Dani asks. "Who wants the same." Frank asked. Nick, Abby, Roxie, Rosie, and Dani rise their hands. I look at Frank 'their on me.' I mouth, going back to my seat. The door opens, The fours moms come in. Heather(Nick's mom), Denice(Roxie and Rosie mom) and Ashley(Dani's mom.) They see me wave and come over.

I stand, Heather hugs me. "Thank you, Gordon." I rub her back. "Come, have a seat and eat." I say, pulling the three remaining chairs out. They sit, all looking at their kids. I hug Nya, she peeks my cheek, one I return. Frank comes back, setting orders down and gets the three's order. I grasp Nya's hand, she smiles. Grabbing the slice of hamburger, I try not to make a mess, which, I do good at.

Later, we're at the temple, I'm taking a shower. Setting out into my room, Wu sits on the bed. I nod, going back to change. Conning back out, I throw the clothes in the hamper. "Saw the fight, the three of us." Wu says. Garmadon and Misako had joined the temple. I go to my gi, the old, ripped up one. Picking it up, I go to Wu, sitting on the bed. "In that cell, I never lost the will to fight, to live, to be with Nya. Now, I'm glad I survived. If I wasn't here today, it could have been an entirely different outcome. I was there, I protected my daughter, her friends, the staff, I fought today and I was scared." Wu looks at me. "The ninja of lightning, Jay Gordon, scared of some thugs." He said. I hold up the ripped remains of the dragon on my gi. "I wasn't scared for my safety, but for everyone else's." I said.  

Making the decision, I stand, hanging my gi up the turn to Wu. Giving a bow, he stands placing his bo staff on my shoulder, he dips his head. "I, Jay Walker Gordon, wish to once again be trained under the wisdom of Wu Garmadon, son of the first spinjitzu master. To fight and defend, to protect and nurture the next generation. This, I wish." I say. Wu's bo staff is removed, his hand replaces it. "Than I, Wu Garmadon accept Jay Walker Gordon as my student once more" I straighten, give a nod and he tips his hat. I see hem out, closing the door and turn in. My phone dings, it's dad. *Wanted to wish you a good night, son.* dad texts. *Good night, I've taken up being a ninja again.* I wait. *I'm proud of you, no matter what you go through, you faced it head on. I'll be home next week, I want to see your gi. My son of lightning.* dad replys. *love ya, night dad.* *Night son. ;p* I smile, set the alarm and go to sleep.
