*The Ninja's POV*

It was a new day in the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Sensei Wu was meditating, until he was interrupted by sounds nearby. Getting up, he checked the training area, only to find it empty. Slightly confused, he made his way to the living room, only to see all six of his pupils playing a video game. Annoyed, the Sensei unplugged the tv, much to the dismay of the six teens. "Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return one day for the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu." Wu said to his pupils. "But Sensei Wu, ever since he's been gone, Ninjago has had nothing but peace." Zane, the White Ninja, said. "Yeah. Peace is boring. There's no one to save. There's nothing to do." Jay, the Blue Ninja, added in, with Cole, the Black Ninja adding in "We can train tomorrow.". "Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today." Wu said, sharing some of his words of wisdom, to which Cole replied, "Well, I was gonna eat this pizza tomorrow. So if that's the case..." But he was cut off by the teacher as he kicks the pizza out of his pupil's hand. "In order to reach your full potential, you must train!" Wu said, becoming a bit more annoyed at the whole situation. "Uh...remember when we did a little thing called the Tornado of Creation? I thought that was pretty insane." Kai, the Red Ninja, said in a boastful manner. The old Sensei sighed in defeat. "You six have merely scratched the surface of your full potential. There are still so many secrets you have yet to unlock. You haven't even begun to tap into what powers your Golden Weapons hold.". "You wanna talk secret powers, Uncle Wu? Check this out." Lloyd, the Green Ninja, said as he used a small part of his element to control the power cord and plugged it back into the wall. "Don't worry, master. We will be ready when Lord Garmadon returns." Zane assured his teacher. That's when Nya, the Water Ninja, rushed into the room. "Guys! Lord Garmadon! He's returned! He was spotted approaching Jamanakai Village!" Nya said, oxygen not fully reaching her head. The five other Ninja quickly get up, clumsily getting their weapons, while Wu stood where he was at, facepalming. Once the ninja finally got their weapons, they rushed outside, summoned their Elemental Dragons, and headed off to the small village.

*Timeskip, once the ninja manage to get to the village*

When the six Ninja made it to the village, they saw the villagers running to their homes, clearly out of fear. The six heroes then headed to the town's fountain, hearing a menacing laughter nearby followed by a large shadow. The ninja readied their weapons. "Stay sharp, fellas. Whatever happens, never let your guard down." Kai said to his teammates. The shadow then shrinks as it's revealed to be a child in a dark purple hood, mostly black clothes, and a mask. The odd thing was that the child did sound like Garmadon. Was there a voice changing device on its person?

"It is I, Lord Garmadon! I demand all the candy in town, or else!" The child demanded, using the villain's voice. "That's the threat? It doesn't even look like Garmadon." Cole said, rather confused about the whole deal. This didn't go well with some villagers as they heard the commotion. "Er...er...gimmie your candy or I'll release the Serpentine on you!" The figure stuttered as it climbs onto the fountain. The villagers start booing at it, then throwing vegetables at it. "I asked for candy, not vegetables!" It shouted. "Whoever this kid is is gonna have to do a lot better than use an old bedtime story to scare people." Kai said to his teammates, to which Zane replied, "The Serpentine are real, Kai. They're not something to joke about.". "Serpentine? Real? We're talking about the ancient race of snake people who once ruled Ninjago and were supposedly locked underground." Kai said to Zane. "Sealed in five different tombs to separate the worrying tribes and ensure they don't unify to exact their revenge upon those who put them there." Jay finished, clearly becoming scared. "It was an old wise tale to teach kids not to poke their noses where they don't belong. Don't you think it's a little suspicious no one's ever found one of their tombs?" Nya said, trying to calm Jay down a bit. "Well that's because you'd be a fool to look for one. If there was anything I hated more than Dragons, it was snakes." Cole said as he, Zane, Lloyd and Kai grabbed the child. "Don't worry, folks, we'll take care of this. Nothing to see here." Jay said as he and Nya followed their teammates. "Bow down to me or suffer my wrath!" The child screamed in anger. "What are we supposed to do? Spank it?" Kai asked his teammates.

*Mini timeskip.*

The six Ninja had managed to hang the "threat" onto a store sign by the cape. "You just made me your nemesis! Mark my words, you'll pay for this!" The child threatened as the citizens laughed at it. Zane then pulls out some money, Hands it to a cashier of a candy stand and hands the sweets he bought to his teammates. "Next time, try paying for your candy." Lloyd said. "Crime doesn't pay, muchacho. You can take that to the bank." Kai added as Jay taunted the child by taking a bite of his candy. "Mmm...cotton candy." Jay said, causing the child to scream in rage. "I'll get my revenge! You'll remember the threat that is Pandora!" The child screamed.

*Timeskip, Pandora's POV*

It was night as the child, named Pandora, had managed to climb down from the sign and somehow was wondering around the Glacier Barrens. "Stupid ninja, foiling my plans." Pandora said itself as it kicked a rock as it walked. After a pretty tough kick to the rock, it heard a clang like sound. Pandora runs over to the rock, ready to investigate. "What is this?" It asked itself as it rubbed the floor for more clues. "Hey, what is.." It asked itself. It turns out that Pandora just found one of the lost Serpentine tombs and managed to unlock it. As the door was opening up, Pandora lost its balance and fell into the tomb. Once it got up, it looked around the tomb's inside. The whole inside of the tomb was made of ice, with stalagmites scattered around top to bottom. "You are out of your mind to venture sssso far away from home, little one." A voice said to the child as it slithered out of the shadows. It was a snake like human, having mostly deep blue scales, a cobra shaped head, and red spiral patterned eyes. As the creature got closer to Pandora, it's spirals in its eyes start moving. "Look into my eyessss. Give up your mind. I will control you." The snake said. Pandora backed away on instinct, until it slipped due to the icy floor. The snake then saw his own reflection on a nearby stalagmite that was behind Pandora, and within seconds, the snake was hypnotized by his own power. Pandora got up, looked at the stalagmite behind it, then grinned evilly. It then faced the creature, saying, "No. I will control you from now on.". "What shall you have ussss do, master?" The snake asked. Pandora looked a bit confused until more snakes appeared from the shadows. A huge evil smile crawls onto Pandora's face. "My own army of snakes! Now, to enact my revenge on those ninja!" Pandora said.
