Cole's p.o.v

Waking in the morning, I do half the stuff on the list before going out with Garmadon watching Caleb. Coming to Marcus' office, I knock. He opens the door, eyes looking over my appearance. "It never gets old how you look." He motions me in, I sit in the chair.

He slides a folder to me, I open it, the guardianship paper in it. Not even hesitating, I grab his pen, signing my name on the line. "If and when you get a partner, they can choose to add their name." Marcus says. I nod, he gives me a copy. Folding it, we shake hands. My phone goes off, dad's id popping up. 'Can I have lunch with my son at the dinner he got arrested at.' Dad asks when I pick up. "I'll have to call Garmadon for permission, I cussed hem out and now have to clean the ship for the month." I say. 'Call back if he says yes.' Dad said. I hang up as I come on the ramp.

Walking in, I'm tackled by Caleb, he nuzzles my chest. Garmadon smiles as I stand. "Dad called to have lunch with me." I say as Caleb tugs my pants. Looking at hem, he signs 'You my daddy now.' I could have smiled brighter as I nod. He crashes into my legs in a hug. "Go have some fun with your dad. You hit the major parts yesterday." Garmadon says. I look to Caleb, he beams at me. 'Want to meet my daddy' I sign. He nods, grabbing my hand as I fix the bandana and hat.

We get to the dinner, I open the door. Caleb goes in, staying there as I hold it for the elderly woman walking thru. He comes back, grabbing my hand as I spot dad. He waves at me, I wave back, walking over. Picking Caleb up, he climes into the booths seat. Sliding in, I take the hat off and push the sunglasses up, pulling down my bandana. Dad smiles at Caleb, waving as Caleb smiles. "Who's this little man." Dad asked. I pull the paper out, unfold and slide it to hem.

Dad smiles after reading it. "Hey there, I'm grandpa Lue." Dad says. I sign as dad talks. His face falls "He's deaf." Dad asks. I nod and Caleb signs something. "He said it's nice to meet you, grandpa." I translate. Dad smiles as the waiter comes over, Caleb asks for a tea. I get a coke and dad a water.

"So, you cussed out Garmadon. What he do." Dad asks as the waitress  comes back with our drinks. I order tenders for Caleb and get a salad. Dad orders some parlow. I tell dad what happened and he nods. "In a way, their right." Dad said. I look at hem as commotion starts. A guy was getting handy with a waitress . I get up, telling Caleb to stay and go.

Grabbing the guys collor, I drag hem out, throwing hem out the door. "The hell freak." He says. I turn back to the dinner, going back in. Sitting down, the waitress walks over. "Thank you, he wouldn't leave me alone." She says. "I can't stand someone doing that, if I caused any trouble, I'll leave." I say. "Can I say thank you personally." A man with the manager tag on hem says, walking up.

"My girls are always getting man handled like that. And I know your the ninja of earth, but if anything comes up, I'll have a spot for you here on the staff." He said. I nod "I'll let you know if anything comes up. Thank you." I say. He hands me a card, it says his name and number, Jack Venus. We get our food, Caleb eats all of his. In the end, me, dad and Caleb all had fun.

It late when I come back, Caleb asleep on my shoulder. Garmadon opens the door, he'd been looking for me. "Have fun." He says. I nod, taking Caleb to my room. Garmadon stops me, he goes to the door beside mine. Motioning me, he opens the door. The shout is cut off as Garmadon shh's the guys. With a smile, laying Caleb on the bed, I tuck hem in. Kissing his head, we all leave. Going to the dinning room, I round on the gang, hugging them. "Thank for doing that. Now, Caleb can feel and be at home." I say. Kai walks up to me, he nuzzles into my shoulder. "I have one request." Kai said, pulling away. The others have devilish smiles on their faces. "And what would that be." I ask, wrapping my arms around his waist. "That I can be a dad to Caleb along side you. I love Caleb and I lo..." I slam my white lips into his red/pick ones as the others cheer quietly. Pulling away, I kiss his cheek. "I'd love that." I say. Kai smiles, wrapping his arms around my neck and I kiss hem again.
