Kai's p.o.v

Grandfather leads us to a dinning room of sorts. Milly sits in my lap while we fix our food. "So, you thirteen have come together, from different back grounds, from different branches if the twelve branches. Yet, you have one goal in mind." Fowline says. I don't like the tone he used.

"Yes, my Lord, we wish to restore the Zodiac family to its former glory." Orion says. Grandfather leans back, his fingers laced together.

"And you all feel this way." As one, we thirteen nod. Grandfather narrows his eyes, looking at me and snaps his fingers.

All the other twelve fall, laced in pain. Milly clings to me. Grandfather jacks me up, throwing me across the room.

"Why team up with them. They'll end up betraying you." He snarls, steel foot kicking my stomach. I cough up blood.

"We are united by one cause. A cause to restore balance to our family." Grandfather slams his fist into my back.

Milly reaches for me, for her mama, but mama's too far. I get up to dash to her side when grandfather grabs my arms, holding me.

I pull, jurk, fight, I need to get to my baby. She needs me, they need me. We need each other. We are.....we are....

"Your wrong. Unlike you, I don't stand alone. If I remember those I love.
And keep them close to heart
My love will shine from deep within, and chase away the dark. I once was alone, but now, I know love, hope, happiness. I know things I never thought I would have the chance to. All cause of my beloved."

A bright light shines from me, my fire wrapping around my daughter, brothers and sisters. The effects of what grandfather had is cancelled as my fire gets brighter and hotter.

Grandfather is forced to let go as my fire explodes into the air, changing me. The next thing I know is Celi holding my head in her lap as black takes me.

Cole's p.o.v

Zane yelled for us, we going running to the bridge. Kai's been gone for eight months, Bella has started sitting up. She's now in my arms as we get her in the bridge.

"A massive energy spike originated from an island far in the endless sea." Zane says.

"Than, let's go investigate." Lloyd says. "Its not just any spike of energy." Zane pulls up the specks on it. "Its Kai's. He's in trouble. And now, we have his location." Zane said.

We head out, hoping to bring Kai home. Hang on love, we're coming.

Kai's p.o.v

My head and body hurts as I slowly come around. Celi is looking at me. "Welcome back, commander." She says. Jackel walks over, offering a hand.

I take it and he helps me up. Milly tackles me in a hug as Heather, Orion, Conner and Helius walk over. Together with Venus, Celi, Copper, Nat, Nala and Jewels, we forge our team.

A few days later, I'm clashing swords with Nickalie. We are battling for control. Not to rule the island, but for freedom.

Orion Senior slashes my wing, tries to but his grandson blocks the attack. The telepaths fight their ancestors as we flyers fight ours.

A scream goes out, Milly is cornered by Gardena. Diving, I slam into her, picking Milly up and fly to safety for Milly. Bastian gives chase, I dive into the trees, banking and weaving between the trunks.

Taking to the sky again, I bearly miss clipping the Bounty as she comes in. Cole and Lloyd are on deck as Bastian slams his heel into my wings. With a cry, I in turn slam into the deck. Wings wrapped around Milly, I protect her.

Uncurling, I watch as the devastation destroys all we are. Cole takes Milly as I hand her off to hem, I take to the sky. Coming between the two, I send a shockwave of fire out, knocking the elders back.

"Enough, this feud has gone on long enough. Look around. What to you see." I say.

"Telepaths and flyers." Xavier says. "No, I see men and women fighting for the same cause. For the same fight. We are the Zodiac family. We are one." I say, landing.

Murmmers among the elders rang out, than, one by one. Swords, daggers, nets and shields are dropped. The elders circle us thirteen.

"We thought one was greater than the other. But, you, Kai Zodiac Brickstone, have showed us the true meaning of family. One branch cannot be without the other. We are united, we are one." Eleven voices sound.

Wait, where's grandfather.....

An arrow slams into my chest, the force knocking me back. "I had hoped you would distroy the others. Well, looks like I have to do everthing." Grandfather slams his sword into my sword and I cry.

Cole and Lloyd run over, picking me up and take me to the medbay as Fowline takes to the sky.
