Kai's p.o.v

Looking out the window, the guys watch me. Lue and my family are here as well. Turning around, I look at them. "Nine years old, I had went out to the fields and got the food that was ripe. Coming back in, I was cleaning them when Alex and Franky walked in. Alex ordered me to get them water so I gave them bottled water. Alex, wanting a glass of water instead, grabs my hair and threw me into the china cabinet. The china feel on the floor and me, many of the shards embedded in my arms.

"Master came in, asking if Alex had threw me into the china cabinet. He tried lying even though the evidence showed he did, a chunk of my hair was in his hand. Alex tried to lie but master stopped hem. Master than asked me knowing I would never lie." I say. "What did you do." Dad asked me. "I told the truth. I said screw Alex and it cost me. In my shop, I went to get up when Alex pinned me to the desk and started raping me. He was harsher than master so I bled. I wanted hem to stop, I felt something swelling inside and I let it loose.

"Alex screamed as he was burned. Without Alex holding me up, I colasped to the floor, waking in the infirmary later. It was than master forbiddened me from ever using my fire. But, in my shop, I trained to harness it. Now, me and it are one and the same." I finish. Mom gets up, hugging me. Cole looks sick. "How....how often." Dad asked. "At least two if not three times a day. Once if I'm lucky." I say, tremors starting. Dad goes to hug me but I pull away. Grabbing my shirt, I pull it over my head, the fishnet short going with it.

Taking a shaky breath, I turn around to see everyone. "He did break me into submission. But, Cole and the ninja brought me home. Gave me a place to call home, love, happiness, and reunited me with my family. My big happy family is here in this room." I said. Cole motions me over, I go and he pulls me down into his lap. I nuzzle into his neck as he purrs.

Months go by, Cole and me planning our wedding. Lue is Cole's best man, mom, my maiden of honor. Dad will walk me down. Right now, Lloyd is altering the tux I'll ware. Who knew he was a seamstor. "That should do it." He says. I try it on and it fits perfect. The day of the wedding rolls around and I'm not one bit nervous. No, I'm about to marry the man I'm going to spend the rest of my days with. Dad comes for me, we go to the doors and wait as the flower girls, Venus and Grace, my nieces on mom's side, go down the aisle. Than, the music plays, dad takes my arm and we go. Cole is dressed in a black and grey tux, his hair is cut and more curly.

Getting to the alter, Cole reaches down and I place my hand in his. He pulls me up the steps, looking me over. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have gathered here today to celebrate the union of Cole Brickstone and Kai Zodiac." Wu begins, he's the pastor for us. "If there's anyone who thinks these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." I wait for anyone, but not one voice sounds.

"Now, the couple has wrote their own vows." Wu says. "Kai, when me and the rest of the ninja raided the camp, we thought you were a slave master. It wasn't til you cowered from us we learned you were a slave. When you fled and ran to your shop, I wanted nothing more than to take you in my arms and not let go. Slowly, this past year, your mask broke, you started trusting us. Than, you gave me the reason I love you to this day. Your self. Kai Zodiac, I wouldn't trade your for the world, you are strong, confident, kind, caring, but must of all, a fun person to be around. I'm glad I met you that day and that you let me in enough to bring you home. I'll forever and always cherish you til I'm sent to the departed realm, and even than, I'll still love you." Cole finishes.

I sigh, gathering my confidence. "Cole. That day in the camp, I was scared out of my mind. I didn't know who to turn to or who to trust. But you, you were there when I needed a shoulder to lean on. You were there when I had a relapse and you were there when I confessed to loving you. Your there for the smallest thing lime stunning a toe and you were there when I fell and the glass and frying pan beat me up." That gains a leagh from everyone

"You are my rock, my love, my home. I was broken and you patched me up. I was lost and you found me. I was weak, you made me strong. Cole, you gave me life, love, a place to call home but more importantly, you gave me freedom. I've been free for a year and I hope for many more, cause I wish to grow old and die in your arms. I love you, Cole Brickstone." I say, finishing.

Wu smiles at us. He motions to Austin for the rings. Wu gives them to us and we slide them on each others fingers. "Ladies, gentleman, boys and girls, I'd like to present, Cole and Kai Brickstone. You may kiss the groom." Cole cups my cheek, kissing me while bending me back. Straighting up, we run down the aisle.

Later, in a motel, Cole holds me to hem on the bed. I heard what new couples do on their wedding night, but, am I ready. Yes, I am. I want good memories while making love. Turning around in his hold, I begin kissing hem. Cole gladly responds, groaning as I rock my hips on his lap. The message clear for what I want, but, will Cole do it. He chuckles, snapping the bottoned t-shirt open. "All you had to do was ask." He says, rutting into me.
