Chapter 7: One for All
In his bedroom, Cliff took off his backpack to hide it underneath his bed before removing his grey sweatshirt and slipped on a white t-shirt. "I gotta patch up that wound." He said to himself as he pulled up the left legging to look at his leg to see the cut was still bleeding, but only slowly due to using some plastic wrap around it before he went over to his drawer to get out a small first aid kit he stole from the bathroom and immediately grabbed a big band-aid.

At the monastery, Don was carrying out all of his pink underwear in a basket to get rid of since his secret was exposed while Joan, CJ, Max and Gabby were in the living room, watching the news, some of the people in the background were looking at either their phones or others' and were laughing. "Meanwhile, does the Green Ninja actually prefer green, or even pink?" The news reporter, Gayle Gossip, asked, trying her best not to laugh on television. "Samurai I and the Ninja had once again clashed for the role of hero, or heroes, of Ninjago around the same time the museum raid was being underway, only for the Green Ninja to be defeated, in humiliation, being left hanging from a flagpole, by his own pink underwear." She suddenly started to laugh. "I'm sorry, I can't keep this going! It's too funny!" Don soon came in, grabbed the remote from Max and turns it off.
"That stupid samurai!" He yelled, throwing the remote to a nearby couch. "He's ruined my reputation."
"Hey, wearing pink underwear can't be that bad." Max replied.
"Yeah, I wore diapers until I was 8." CJ said.
"Because you couldn't stop wetting the bed." Gabby replied.
"At least I managed to stop."
"Guys, we're getting off topic!" Don yelled. "Besides, we still have to find who this Samurai I is. Maybe I can also find something humiliating about him."
"You can think while we listen to some karaoke." CJ replied.
"Of course."
---
Sometimes during their off time, the Ninja and their parents often go to Laughy's to either enjoy some karaoke or just hang out. Dareth, who still owned the bar, even after marrying Gayle Gossip and having three boys, were happy that they often came. The moment they came in, also bringing Cliff and Lara along, just wearing regular clothes, the patrons inside started laughing at Don. "Look, it's Pink Undies Ninja." One of them said.
Don groaned and prepared to leave, but Joan stops him. "Just ignore them." She told him. "They'll stop eventually."
They just walk over to the bar where Dareth's oldest son, Gareth, was. "Hey, pinky and Ninja friends." He said.
"Come on, Gareth, that's enough." Gabby replied.
"Sorry, Gabriel. Bobas?"
"Yeah." Don said.
"Coming right up." Gareth walked away while Cliff went over to the karaoke stand. One of his few hobbies was singing, and was given several record company recommendations, but declined each of them.
"The Height's about to sing." David, Gareth's middle brother and part time cleaner, called out. Cliff was often called 'The Height', due to his name's shortened nickname.
Cliff inserted a coin, scrolled through the song options before coming across one of his choice and pressed the button. The moment he did, he went to the microphone to start singing. "#Blood on the ground, Sun turning red, Head over heels, Over our heads. Trouble will rise, And tears will be shed, Wherever we go, Whatever comes next. We'll always, We'll always be, One for all, And all for one#"
As Cliff sang, Joan turned to the others. "I forgot to mention this, but the samurai got wounded and now they have his blood." She said.
"So if my dad compares the blood to another sample, or even search the database--" CJ was soon cut off the moment Don stood up.
"We find out who Samurai I is." He replied. "And he is done for. Especially for exposing my secret."
"#One for all, And all for one. One for all, And all for one. All for one#"
At that moment, Cliff had finished singing and everyone applauded for what appeared to be his last performance.
---
Several nights later, Joan, Cliff, Jay and Nya were at in the kitchen, eating steaks for dinner, but Cliff hardly touched his, which Nya notices. "Cliff, you hardly touched your steak." She said.
"I just lost my appetite." He simply replied, getting up and walked out, concerned about what is about to come next just as they watch him leave.
As soon as he was about to head upstairs, there was soon a knock at the door. Knowing it may be the police, instead of going to hide, Cliff walked over to the door and opened it just as his parents and Joan came out the moment they heard the door. Behind the door was Cole, accompanied by two officers and holding a sheet of paper before holding it up. "Clifton Walker, we have a warrant for your arrest." He said, glaring at him.
Not objecting, Cliff turned around, hands behind his head before one of the officers start to handcuff him. "Cole, what's the meaning of this?" Jay asked.
The moment his other wrist was cuffed behind his back, Cliff frowned as he turned to his confused father. "I'm Samurai I." He simply said, shocking his family before Cole and the officers escort Cliff out of the house as Nya started moving to it.
"You have the right to remain silent." Cole started reading his rights as they escort his handcuffed honorary nephew down the path. "Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."
---
"Cole, you can't do this." She said as they pass the open gates and stop at a police car which Cole opened the left side back door.
"It's meant to be, mom." Cliff simply said as he heads in and looked at his mother, shedding a tear before the door closes, as Cole got in the back with him and the officers came up to the front, got in and drove off as Nya sheds a few tears, watching her son being taken away.
---
Several days later, in a courtroom, Cliff, wearing a grey suit, white shirt and black loafers, sits at the defendant's side as his family lawyer was next to him. Among the crowd were his parents, sister, cousins and honorary family before a judge bangs his gavel. "All rise." The judge said and they do so. "In the case, Ninjago City vs. Clifton Walker, the defendant has the right to plead his case. Clifton Edward Walker, what do you plead?"
Before Cliff could open his mouth, his lawyer opened his. "My client pleads not guilty." He replied.
"This decision must come from the defendant himself."
"He says he pleads not guilty."
"Shut up." Cliff told his lawyer and turned back to the judge. "My plea is guilty." The answer got everyone to gasp and murmur.
"With the defendant stating his plea, this court hereby sentences Clifton Edward Walker to 10 years in Kryptarium Prison..." This gets the crowd to jeer. "...with a non-parole period of 6." As the jeering continued, some officers came up to Cliff as he held out his hands for them to cuff and escort him away from the courtroom while the judge banged his gavel, not just for adjourning the court case, but to try and silence the crowd. "Order! We shall have order!"
"Objection!" His lawyer called out as the officers prepare to leave with Cliff. "My client has a right to an appeal."
"No appeal, Your Honor." Cliff requested. "I also terminate my lawyer for mishandling the situation." This got his family and lawyer to gasp just as the officers and Cliff left the room, ignoring the protesting crowd as the judge kept banging his gavel.
---
The ride to Kryptarium Prison was quiet and the processing was quick as Cliff was hosed down and placed his prison uniform on.
---
As he walked down the hallway, prisoners were banging on their cell bars, some that Cliff put away made much worser threats. "You're done, Samurai I!" One of the convicted mercenaries yelled.
---
At the end of the hallway was the entrance to the most dangerous criminals of all before the door soon opened and the prisoners, who were out of their cells, see the new fish coming in. The moment Cliff stepped in, the door slammed shut, making the shocked young new convict turn to it briefly. As soon as he turned back around, the convicts start surrounding him, forming a circle, as Killow, wearing a prison uniform his size but with torn off sleeves, laughed as he caked into the circle. "So, the son of Jay and Nya was the one who put me in here." He said.
"What will you do to me?" He asked, a little scared.
"Something that will serve as a warning to the Ninja and your family." At that moment, Ultra Violet and the Mechanic grab hold of his arms and the convicts start to cheer. "This was always been your fault from the beginning, Walker." He pulls out an improvised knife, made from a piece of a lunch tray he broke and sharpened. "You can never alter time." Once he had said that Killow soon moved the shiv back and moved it forward, square into the convicted samurai's abdomen, causing him to scream in pain.
---
Gasping, Cliff sat up from his bed and touched the spot where Killow allegedly stabbed him. He was actually in his bedroom, covered in his own sweat, wearing a white t-shirt and black track pants. Half relieved and half concerned that what he experienced beforehand was a nightmare, he started fearing it may come true. "I really am done for." He said to himself and lied back on his bed. "I need to tell them at some point."
