You and Lucas were sent on a missing person mission that lead you to a forest. The moment you gotten close to the first tree, you felt sick but paid no attention to it. After traveling for a while through the forest, you doubled over in pain from your stomach and chest, soon passing out after you shot off a flare.

When you awoke, you were in a different outfit surrounded by a small group of other hybrids. "If they weren't hybrid, then they would've died entering the forest. Perhaps the human smell is from hunters?" You heard one speak before hearing another voice add onto the conversation.

"The hybrid is awake, Ember, go get the elixir before the poison worsens their immune system."

After you fully woke up, ypu were told that your sickness was poison and only those who were born in the village were immune.
