At the police station, some of the officers watch the TV. The TV is showing a commercial, involving Geoff, in his activewear, smiling. "To anyone who wants to be a Ninja, you gotta run like a Ninja." He said as he walked along the hallway of Borg Industries before looking at scientists testing some sports shoes. "Regular sports shoes are easy to trap sweat, get wet and get dirty. But not Ninja Runners." The TV image then showed Geoff, Blake and some scientists, in lab coats, testing some Ninja Runners. "Ninja Runners have been tested to be fireproof, waterproof, dirtproof and sweatproof. Therefore, making them the most resistance shoes ever. Let's hear from our honorary Purple Ninja, who was chosen to test them out."

The TV image then showed Nelson, who looked very sweaty and was wearing a purple t-shirt, black shorts and white Ninja Runners with purple markings all over. "I've ran for 20 miles from my house to the grocery store and back, and the soles have no dirt on them or any wet spots." He said proudly to the camera. "I'm actually impressed."

The TV image then showed Geoff outside Borg Industries, tying the shoelace of his right shoe. "There you have it. So, to be a Ninja, you gotta run like a Ninja. Ninja Runners, the most resistant shoes in Ninjago." He immediately runs off camera before a company symbol then appeared on the screen.

"Ninja Runners." A voice actor said in voiceover. "To be a Ninja, you gotta run like a Ninja."

Jieshou and Yingteer, both in police uniforms, look at the whiteboard that has Chongbai's mugshot with the word 'Leader' underneath it while the word underneath Zhong's mugshot was replaced with 'Second-in-Command?' as the other Ninja as well as Callen were talking amongst each other. "Good thing our informant got us some spare uniforms." Jieshou said.

"Quiet." Yingteer replied. "Act naturally."

"We see the bearer, so why can't we just grab her now?"

"If we did, they'll know who we are. We gotta be more discreet."

The doors soon open and Misako comes in. "What's up?" She asked. "Lloyd said he wanted to talk to me."

"They're not back yet." Zane, in his Titanium form, replied.

"We are now." Geoff's voice was heard as he and Lloyd came up to them.

Callen starts to groan. "Are you alright?" Gewuji asked.

"I just need to use the bathroom." She replied.

"There's one down the hallway." Mantis said as he came over to them. "I'll take her there."

Mantis helps Callen up and they walk out as Jieshou and Yingteer soon leave to follow them. "Father said to ask you about the Dagger of Aurumetacri." Lloyd said. "You found it, didn't you?"

"It wasn't just him." Misako replied. "23 years ago, there were three of us, your father, myself... and another man named Warne Pantub, we called him 'Warnie'. He was my protégé and my friend, we treated him like a son."

23 Years Earlier

Oni, in his human state, wearing a grey leather jacket, black shirt, blue jeans and brown cowboy boots, Misako, wearing a brown fedora hat, and a young man with brown hair, one green eye and one red eye, wearing a white shirt, sandy coloured shorts and black boots, walk along the Caves of Despair as Oni held a map. "We found a map leading us to the Caves of Despair where we would find the dagger."

"It should be up further." Oni said as they move along.

"We took a left, and that was when we saw it."

They turn left and come across a shrine with a dagger on it. "The Dagger of Aurumetacri." The young man said.

"We found it." Oni said as he wrapped an arm around Misako while having the other hand behind his back.

"Yes, we sure did." Misako replied as the young man came up to the dagger and picked it up. "Warnie, can we have a look at that?"

"Yes." Warnie said as he stood up while Oni and Misako came up to him. "You certainly... CANNOT!" He quickly turned around and slashed both Oni and Misako, knocking them back. "You really think you can betray me? I knew from your facial expressions."

He starts to walk away as Oni got up and Misako groaned. "Warnie!" He yelled, firing a shot of Destruction at him, but misses as he tried to apply pressure to his wound.

Warnie turns back to Oni and chuckled. "Guess I beat you and your bitch to the punch." He strikes the side, causing rocks to come down around the entrance while Warnie takes off.

"We were trapped in the caves for two days before Dragon rescued us along with a rescue crew." Misako said.

Present

"Then, at the hospital, Dr. Hall told me the news that shocked us all." Misako then looked at Lloyd. "I was pregnant, with you." Gewuji puts a hand on her boyfriend's shoulder out of comfort as Misako lifted her shirt up to show him the scar on her chest. "Luckily, the wound wasn't deep. Another few inches, and you wouldn't even be here. We planned to make him your godfather, but I only went along with the plan to double cross him because we think he was getting too unstable."

"Have you heard from him ever since?" Kai asked.

"No. We cut contact with him when he found out we survived and it was around the time Lloyd was born."

"Well, it seems this Warnie is no longer an archaeologist anymore." Wilhelm said, coming up to them with a tablet and held it out, showing P.I.X.A.L.'s face on it.

"Warnie Pantub is now a senator, running for mayor." She said through the tablet.

"I guess the mayor either got canned or had enough being in office." Maggie said. "Don't know how she even got elected in the first place."

"This is a recent election poll." The screen switches, showing two process bars. "Mr. Pantub is 28% ahead of Rubi Seuss Seosin, who is suspected of being corrupt, which is why she has less voters."

"Do we know where he lives?" Blake asked.

"Address is unknown."

"Probably for privacy." Maggie said.

Down the hallway, Mantis and Callen stop by the door to the women's bathroom. "Are you sure you don't want me to come in with you?" Mantis asked as he opened the door.

"It is the 'Women's', Officer Trudogolik." Callen replied before heading inside while Mantis checks his watch.

"Might as well try out one of those foamy coffee things." He heads to a nearby coffee machine to put in some coins and tries to think of a coffee to order.

Jieshou and Yingteer come down the hallway and see Mantis, by the coffee machine, still deciding what to have. "Just one cop." Jieshou whispered. "He won't know who it is."

Mantis soon sees them and turned to them. "Excuse me, I need to see some--" Mantis was cut off when Yingteer immediately punched him in the face, knocking him out.

------

In the women's bathroom, a toilet flushes before Callen comes out of a stall, turns the faucet on and washes her hands before cupping them, and splashes her face with it. A noise was soon heard, causing her to turn to the door. "Officer Trudogolik?" She asked. "Was that you? Mantis?" The door soon was soon rammed open, revealing Jieshou and Yingteer, causing her to scream very loudly.

The scream causes Mantis, who is now sporting a black eye, to quickly regain conscious and see the door open with Jieshou and Yingteer, hats off, dragging Callen out. "Let me go!"

Mantis immediately pulled out his gun as Jieshou got out a Mauser C96 and held it to Callen's head while Yingteer got out a Luger P08, and aimed it at Mantis. "Let her go!"

"Drop it!" Jieshou yelled, pushing the gun in closer. "Drop it or I kill her!"

"Jie, are you crazy?" Yingteer asked.

"I'm serious! I don't care if the bearer dies, we're getting the baby out of here. Drop it, NOW!"

"Alright." Mantis said, raising his hands up, kneeling down, and places the gun behind his leg.

"Kick it back." Mantis quickly kicked the gun back before gripping his left hand as it slowly glowed.

------

In the police station, as everyone talked, a gunshot soon rang out. "Shots fired!" Simon yelled as the Ninja put their bandanas on, with Zane turning to his cloak form and Blake removing his glasses, and head out the door with some officers.

"Mom, stay in here!" Lloyd called out as they open the doors.

------

In the hallway, gunfire occurred as Mantis held his service weapon, hiding behind a cabinet as Jieshou, whose arm is glowing from Mantis' Uranium power, and Yingteer fire at him before Geoff and Gewuji come out and hold their hands out, creating Elemental Shields, blocking the shots for the officers and Ninja to come behind them before they stop and head down the hallway. "Mantis, where's Callen?" Geoff asked as Mantis got up.

"She went back in the bathroom after I hit his arm and it caused a misfire." He replied, turning to fire again before holding his hand out again, conjuring a glowing ball of Uranium, and threw it at Jieshou and Yingteer, firing his gun at the same time. Unfortunately, the Uranium shot misses them, and hits the wall behind them.

"Cole, Zane, guard her." Lloyd said as they nod and head into the bathroom. "We'll get those two--"

He was cut off when the lights suddenly go out. "Damn!" Navis yelled as the hallway was only lit up by Mantis' power on the wall, but it was not enough. "They cut the power!"

"Let me." Mantis replied and it lit up through a glowing ball of Uranium. "We gotta move, quickly!"

They start moving along as Blake looked at his communicator. "Pix, turn the backup generators on now!" Blake said into it.

"Coming online in 3, 2, 1." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the communicator as the lights come back on.

Mantis dispersed his glowing hands before seeing Spencer, Nestor, Ricky, Nick and other criminals coming at them. "They broke the prisoners out!" Simon yelled.

"Yes, I can see that." Navis replied, twitching his eyes.

"But your eye is twitching."

"I'm not blind!"

"Never mind that, we gotta stop the prisoners escaping!" Cornelius called out.

"Tasers out, now!"

The officers get out their taser and charge at the prisoners along with the Ninja. Lloyd runs along the wall before jumping off to kick Spencer, knocking him into another criminal as another tries to strike him before Mantis held his hand up at his face, conjuring a ball of Uranium to blind him before tazing him. Jay and Nya hold hands as they each kick a criminal as Nestor charged at them with a pipe, but Nya blocks it with her spear and stabbed it into the ground before Jay jumps over her and kicks him down. "Good thing we didn't feed any of them Puffy Potstickers." He said.

Geoff stands still before Gewuji jumps onto his shoulders while Maggie wrapped her arms around her legs before Geoff starts spinning, lifting both girls up as Gewuji had her arms out and Maggie had her legs out. They move along, knocking down some prisoners before Maggie jumps off and held her hands out at Nick, creating a shockwave, knocking him down. Gewuji somersaults off of Geoff and sidekicks two prisoners before Ricky charged at her, only to have a ball of sand hitting his eyes before Blake grabbed hold of him, threw him at some prisoners and held his left hand out, sending a gust of wind at them, knocking them down. "Officers, your handcuffs!" Lloyd said to the officers, who hand their cuffs to them.

"Ninjago!" The Ninja yelled, doing Spinjitzu around the prisoners, knocking them all into the middle of a circle they form before dispersing, showing all the prisoners, cuffed behind their backs to each other as they try to pull on the cuffs.

"Let me out of these!" Spencer yelled.

"Wait till I get my hands on you!" Nick yelled.

"Hush!" Cornelius replied. "Ya'll just hush!"

The bathroom door soon opened and Cole, Zane and Callen come out. "Is it over?" She asked.

"Yeah." Geoff replied.

"Those two we were shooting at tried to grab Callen." Mantis said. "They must be with Yether Age."

"And I don't see Jason." Nya replied. "He probably stayed in his cell."

"Well, it's time for these ones to go back to theirs." Navis said, eyes still twitching.

"Your eye is twitching." Simon replied.

"I know. I'm not blind! Unlike the Blind Ninja."

"Hey!" Geoff said.

"Sorry."

------

As the officers were dragging the prisoners back to the holding cells as they complained. "I said, hush!" Cornelius yelled to them.

Lloyd soon turned to a window as it started to rain. "So, what do we do now?" Kai asked as they turned to him.

"We better find Senator Pantub and get the dagger." Lloyd said.

------

Outside the window, Jieshou and Yingteer, who are on the other side of the window, hear the conversation. "With it, he doesn't know he's a target."

"Senator Pantub, eh?" Jieshou asked.

"Let's inform Master Chongbai." Yingteer replied before they take off, the rain washing away the Uranium glow off of Jieshou's arm.
