On the built platform, Geoff was still holding Chongbai's arm up before he turned the staff sword around and prepared to stab him. But Geoff manages to move the staff into its path, allowing the staff sword to insert into the staff to become whole again before kicking him back and held the staff out. "You tricked me!" Chongbai yelled.

"I have the staff back, just like I promised Master Yether." Geoff replied. "Now I'm gonna find the dagger and medallion and reverse the spell." He soon spun the staff before holding it out to him and fired a ball of energy, knocking Chongbai off the platform, which starts to fall before Geoff jumped off and landed on Firstbourne.

As he fell, Chongbai sees the medallion and dagger on the skylight of a warehouse and spun to land on the roof before moving to head over to them while Firstbourne flew down to reach the warehouse. But before Chongbai could even pick up the dagger, Geoff jumps off of Firstbourne lands on top of him, causing the window to crack and immediately break, sending them both into the warehouse.

Inside, they land on some boxes, which were crushed upon their landing before Geoff gets up and kicks Chongbai off, making him land on another one while rain water was coming in through the broken window. As he landed, Chongbai sees the dagger and medallion before preparing to grab them, but Geoff jumps down in front of him and kicks the box, making it move upright and Chongbai getting knocked to the ground and rolled to a wall. Chongbai slowly got up as Geoff walked over to him before he fires a series of dark purple shots. Geoff uses the staff to deflect each shot before holding the staff at his neck. "You are beaten. It's useless to resist. Now, stay down."

Chongbai quickly conjured a dark sword and thrusted it into Geoff, making him move back before he gets up and runs over to where the dagger and medallion were. But as soon as he got there, he saw that they were gone. "What? Where did they go?"

"They're right here." Someone called out. He looked up to see it was Callen, who holds the dagger and medallion before Chongbai gets up and charged at her, but Callen immediately threw them over to the unfazed Geoff, who catches them while Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, Gewuji, Maggie, Blake, P.I.X.A.L. and Seliel, who is holding Amelia, came up behind Callen.

"What?!"

Geoff puts the medallion on, places the dagger in his left hand and raised it, and the staff high. "Release Master Yether from the disturber of peace!" He yelled. "Ber, Recsub, Rumlep, Ubrik..." As Geoff recited the reversal spell, Chongbai starts groaning as white steam came out of him. "...Egert, Rehtorb, Reut, Nacor!" Chongbai screamed as he was lifted in the air and Yether's spirit emerges from inside him before he collapsed. Yether's spirit raised while Chongbai doesn't move and remains in Oni form before Yether comes over to Geoff. "Master Yether." Geoff kneels down before him as the other Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Seliel and Callen do so as well.

"Master Geoff, you have succeeded in saving my life." Yether said. "Now, let me save your city." He holds his hands out to the dark portal and fired a beam, turning it white as many departed souls soon came out and land on the ground, all wearing hoods over their heads.

At the hospital, Skylor, Neuro, Karlof, Powder, Dareth, Scars and the civilians were getting exhausted before some of the departed charge at the Yether Age members and force them down before they keep moving with everyone soon cheering.

At the police station, Jacob, Tox, Patrice, Spider, Hayden and the police were also struggling before the departed show up and force the members down before continuing on. The civilians start cheering while the officers start handcuffing the members. "What just happened?" Hayden asked before he handcuffed Back-Chain. By the comic book store, Small-Bangs had forced Gayle down while Shade and Paleman kept fighting the members with the civilians before the departed show up and force them down as they kept going, causing the civilians to cheer.

On the streets, Fino holds Bolobo and Ronin high as the civilians were still fighting the members before the departed show up and Fino turned to them. "Warning, departed souls on approach." She said, dropping Bolobo and Ronin as the departed start taking down the members. "Must protect members."

As Fino was about to stop one, another grabs hold of her and forces her down, his hood coming off as he stood up. The identity of the departed individual shocked Ronin. "Soul Archer?" He asked.

"That's another debt you owe me when you come to the Departed Realm." He said before he took off with the others. Ronin just sat there, in shock, while the civilians cheered before he joined in.

At the warehouse, the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Seliel and Callen look on as the departed incapacitate the Yether Age members while Yether came up next to them. "It's over." He said, as everyone was astonished. Several minutes later, the rain had stopped outside as the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Seliel and Callen were facing Yether and the departed, who were in some rows, like a crowd. "This was my thanks to you, Master of Sand. If you like, you can come back to the Departed Realm with me, or you may choose to stay in Ninjago."

Geoff looks at himself before looking at the others. They were all concerned before he smiled and nodded before turning back to Yether. "Master, I apologise, but I don't think that it's my time yet." He said, backing away and allowed Maggie to lean her head on him. "I still have a lot to do."

"I thought you'd say that."

Geoff soon removed the medallion and held it out to Yether, who takes it and puts it on before Geoff held out the staff and dagger and Yether took them as well. "Also, I believe it is best that all the artefacts are with you, the creator, in the Departed Realm."

"You have made a wise decision. You will become a great master." Yether takes the artefacts before turning to Dragon. "Master Wu, you're just like your father."

"Thank you, Master Yether." Dragon said.

"You're welcome, son of the First Spinjitzu Master." He then held the staff out. The end of the staff glows and a bright light appears in front of him before going into Geoff, surprising him. "I have returned your soul, so you would be among the living. But it will come with a consequence." He then turned to the departed. "Also, I have a little proposition for all of the departed. Anyone who wishes to stay in Ninjago, I won't object."

The departed look among each other before one moves forward. "I'll stay." The individual replied, pulling back their hood, revealed to be James.

"Mr. Debitum!" Nya said and James smiles.

"Count me in." Another individual said, pulling back their hood, revealing to be Bladolver.

"Bladolver!" Callen said before coming up to hug him.

Several minutes later, Morro, Mistaké, Heianmofa and many of the other departed, who chose not to return to Ninjago stay behind Yether. "Master Geoff, all departed who chose to stay in Ninjago, you will remain in Ninjago until the day you pass on, and I will be there to greet you again, with open arms. Go, Ninja, go."

"Thank you, Master." Geoff said.

"May the spirit of the First Spinjitzu Master be with you all. Always." Yether then floats up to the portal before heading into it, back to the Departed Realm, followed by the other departed beings before it fades away and Chongbai wakes up to see it is gone as police sirens were soon being heard.

"No!" Chongbai called out as he looked up. "Master, come back!"

Police cars soon show up and skid to a halt behind them. "Still think you're gonna be Emperor?" Jay asked as the officers quickly came over and Hayden came up to Chongbai, handcuffs all of his wrists and forces him up. "Hah! Dream on!"

"You failed, Chongbai." Geoff said as he came up to him. "Yether has cursed you to remain in your Oni skin forever, the baby is a girl and your clan is disbanded."

"No!" Chongbai yelled. "No! NO!"

"Come along, Chongbai." Hayden said as he started dragging him away.

Several minutes later, outside the warehouse, the Ninja, Dragon, Faith and some of the Elemental Masters watch as Zhong, Small-Bangs, Grunin and some members were bring put in the van with Fino, Sai-Feng, Back-Chain, Sharpocroc, Jieshou and a limping Yingteer heading into another van. "I want a lawyer!" One of the members yelled as he was being put in the van.

Geoff turned to Navis. "How are they going to fit in the cells at Kryptarium?" He asked.

"We're gonna put most of them in the maximum security wing, including Chongbai now that he has the appearance of an Oni." Navis replied. "Warden Noble said they're putting in more cells, so they won't be overcrowded."

"Good. But, I don't think all members had been caught, Commissioner."

"What do you mean?"

Geoff gets out Jieshou's phone from his pocket. "One of Chongbai's enforcers got a lot of phone calls, all from the same number. These numbers, they're a cop's badge and the year he joined." He hands the phone to Navis, who starts twitching his eye.

"Are you saying one of my officers leaked every bit of information on this whole situation to Chongbai?"

Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, Gewuji, Maggie and Blake came over to them. "Informing Zhong about the illegal casino." Jay said.

"Telling him to move out of the warehouse because you guys were coming." Cole said.

"Saying Ouroboros was a great hideout." Lloyd said. "Call the number, Commissioner."

Navis gets out his phone, dials the number and puts the phone to his ear. Pretty soon, a ringtone, similar to the Tetris theme started playing close by. They turn to see Cornelius answering his phone. "Proctor." He said. "Need something, Commish?" Cornelius turned to see the Ninja, Dragon, Faith and Navis staring at him, suspiciously. "Shit." He quickly threw his phone aside, and went to pull his gun out. But as soon as he did, a gunshot rang out, hitting his right index finger, causing him to scream and look at his hand with the severed finger and gun on the ground.

Simon and Tommy then came up to Navis as his eye was still twitching to see Cornelius get onto his knees. "Proctor's a dirty cop." Tommy said.

"Yes, I can see that." Navis replied as they look to see it was Hayden who pulled the trigger.

"But your eye is twitching." Simon said.

"I'm not blind!"

"Look." Gewuji said, pointing at Cornelius' hand to see purple blood coming out from where the finger use to be.

"He drank Chongbai's blood!" Cole said.

"Just like all the other council members." Maggie replied.

Cornelius kept looking at his bleeding stump while Hayden came up behind him and holstered his gun. "Cornelius Vas Proctor, you're under arrest for corruption and conspiracy." He forces Cornelius' hands behind him before handcuffing him as Simon and Tommy came up to them and take Cornelius away. "Time for you to hush."

Several minutes later, as the last of the clan was put in alongside Cornelius, Cole and Blake came up to them with Fino. "She's the last." Blake said, forcing her to Sean, who puts her in the last van, and closes the door.

As they watch the van drive off, Zane holds out a coffee cup to Hayden. "Figured I still owed you one." He said. Hayden takes it and sips it.

"So, what do we do now?" Kai asked.

"We know what to do." Geoff replied before turning to Maggie and they smile at each other.
