In the arena, atop the hidden base, there were posts placed around the arena as clan members start to bring the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Chamille, Faith and Seliel up, while close by, the white robed individual looked on. They chain each of the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Chamille, Faith and Seliel to the posts, arms spread out, as a spike at the top of each post was holding the chains up. "They're taking this too far." Cole said as he tried to pull on his chains, but stopped.

"I wish I didn't disobey you, Master." Gewuji said to Dragon.

"I would've disobeyed myself too." He replied.

The clan members, who were sitting atop of stands, were cheering as some were holding cameras before Chongbai came up top the damaged statue of the Great Devourer. "Silence!" He yelled, causing the members to cease. "Prepare to film."

"Oh, now they want to film us?" Jay sarcastically asked. "I really hope there are no kids watching the show. Or even my parents."

At the police station, Mantis comes up to the holding cell where Warnie was. "Senator." He said.

"What do you want?" He asked. "I demand for my release."

"Your lawyer will be here soon. But, I'm here on a more personal matter. Remember our little talk at the cemetery a few days ago?" He holds out the folder to Warnie as he nodded in reply. He gets up, takes it and opened it to look at the results.

He was soon shocked. "My sister's son is alive?"

"It's me."

"What?"

"DNA doesn't lie. I am Kelly's son. Hayden Finlay Salvos."

"Hayden? How?"

"First Realm. Been there all my life until several weeks ago."

"What about Kelly? How is she?"

"She's dead. So is my father."

"Oh, Hayden, I'm sorry to hear."

"Doesn't matter... Uncle Warnie." Warnie was surprised to hear what he was called.

"I'm glad you're alive. You have my sister's hair colour... and your father's eyes." Mantis was about to smile when the door soon opened.

"Hey, Mantis!" Tommy yelled, coming up to him. "Commissioner wants you to come quick. You need to see it. Bring the senator with you while you're at it, his lawyer arrived at the same time."

Tommy leaves the room as Warnie stands up. "Mantis?"

"Blue Ninja picked that one." He replied. "I prefer it."

In the precinct, Tommy, Mantis and Warnie come in among the other officers to see Chongbai on the TV. "Dragon's turd."

"Is it on?" Chongbai asked on the TV before nodding and cleared his throat to begin. "People of Ninjago, I am Chongbai Yether, descendant of First Emperor Yether."

Out on the streets, many civilians look at all the TVs. "As you all know by now, I have taken over all the airwaves and no matter how you try to change the channel or turn off your tellies, it will never work."

In Cyrus' office at Borg Tower, Cyrus and Cirrus watch on the monitors. "And you will not be able to turn them off, because all of Ninjago must see this."

In Kryptarium, all the prisoners, including Bastion, Ultra Violet and Killow, watch on an old TV, which was a little grainy.

Somewhere in a port town, Oni, wearing a cloak over himself so he wouldn't be recognised, watches on a small TV from a nearby fishing pole rental store. "The Yether Age clan must not be disrupted while we plan to resurrect Emperor Yether to take over Ninjago once again."

In Callen's quarters, Callen sits at the table as she watches the TV, touching her baby bump. "As you all know, the actions of the Ninja has caused the death of the Blind Ninja, Geoff Sanders."

In Laughy's, Dareth, Misako, Lou and the Royal Blacksmiths, Tania, Ray, Maya and many other patrons watch the TV. "No, that was your fault." Tania said, moving her hand into a fist, scratching the bar counter as she did so, leaving deep scratch marks.

"And now, you shall see who we have now caught."

In the trailer at Ed 'n' Edna's Scrap and Junk, Ed and Edna watch the TV before Chongbai moves aside to show the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Chamille, Faith and Seliel, who are all chained up, causing them to gasp. "Oh, Jay!" Edna yelled. "My precious baby!" She ran over to hug the TV. "Please, just let my precious baby go!"

At the police station, the officers were also shocked. "Gewuji." Mantis said. "Can you trace it?"

"No, it's blocking our trackers." Wilhelm replied.

--------

At Laughy's, the patrons were all shocked. "Cole." Lou said, moving forward.

"Lloyd!" Misako said.

"My baby." Tania said.

"Kai, Nya." Maya said before Ray hugs her.

"I already lost Geoff, I cannot lose Gewuji." Ray and Maya soon place reassuring hands on her back.

At Kryptarium Prison, the prisoners cheer. "Alright, Chongbai!" A prisoner called out.

At Borg Tower, Cyrus and Cirrus were also shocked. "Blake." They both said.

--------

On the streets, parents were forcing their children to look away while the rest look on, in shock before Chongbai appeared on the TV screen again. "The acts they have done are unacceptable to us of the Yether Age Clan. Now, all of you shall watch them all..." He clears his throat. "...D-I-E!" He turned to the arena. "Release the Grundles!"

At Ouroboros, several doorways open, revealing six creatures, similar to T-Rexes. One had a scar over its left eye, and another was missing a toe while the other four were normal. "Those are Grundles?" Faith asked.

"Yes, and they always get their prey." Dragon replied.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Lloyd said.

"Death by being slaughtered will serve as a warning to those who cross the Yether Age clan!" Chongbai said aloud, not just to the Ninja and their allies, but to the cameras as well. Chongbai laughs as the cameras focus on the bound captives.

Jieshou and Yingteer soon came up to him. "Master, once they're executed, can Jieshou and I have that special truck that belonged to the Blind Ninja?" Yingteer asked. Chongbai soon thinks about it. "Master?"

"Master Chongbai?" Jieshou asked.

Seliel moves her mouth about before revealing a paper clip and moved it to her right cuff. As she did so, the Grundles separate as one came at Jay and swung its claw at him, but he managed to dodge it before it could strike him and he kicked it, making it move back and it screamed, splattering salvia on the left side of the chain, making it sizzle. "Ew, gross!" Jay yelled before the chain comes loose and he backs away from the post and held it, swinging a long piece of it around.

Nya sees the Grundle missing the toe strike at her, but she moves to the side, causing it to hit her post. Faith tries to pull on her chains as hard as she can, but is unable to, as a Grundle charged at her before she quickly turned to the other side of the post to avoid the head charge. Chamille tried to pull on her chain to get free before a Grundle charged at her and tried to strike her, but she ducks her head as it also scratched the chain, but it barely nicks it. By her post, Seliel managed to get her cuff unlocked and started climbing up it by using her chain as a rope. Her actions were spotted by Cole, who tries to pull on the chain. "Well, she seems to be on top of things." He sarcastically said to himself. "Come on, super strength, don't fail me now." He looked to see none of the Grundles were coming for him yet with one coming at P.I.X.A.L., who immediately went around the post to miss its incoming strike.

A Grundle came at Seliel and tried to bite at her, but missed as she got to the top and whipped at it as best as she could. Zane see the Grundle with the missing toe move away from Nya and charges at him. "Activating defences at full blast." He said as the Grundle soon came at his head before electricity came out of Zane, making it move back.

Lloyd ducked down when the Grundle with the scar tried to strike at him, but it hits the chain connecting his cuffs, breaking him free. He quickly moved to the side and ran to Gewuji to try and pull on the chain as best as he could. "Come on!" He yelled as the Grundle came at them and swung its claw at them, but they quickly back away.

Cole kept trying to pull on the chain as best as he could, but the Grundle that Jay was backing away from charges at him, causing him to move to the side as it missed. Seliel tried to whip at the Grundle that was attacking her, but it soon raised a claw and struck her back. It caused her to scream very loudly as the strike left claw marks on her back and tore at the top part of her gi, revealing her navel, and tearing the left sleeve off.

In the quarters, Callen is shocked at seeing her sister being wounded. "Sis!" She said.

Out in the arena, Cole saw the blood soaked torn pieces of fabric come down onto the sand, landing in front of him, and quickly climbed up his post before wrapping his arms around the chain, bounced off and swung on them to kick the Grundle, fazing it a little. "That was for Seliel!" He yelled as he landed and the Grundle backed away, moving to Maggie, who moves to the side as it headbutted the post.

"Whoa!" Kai yelled as another Grundle almost bit at him before roaring, splattering saliva all over to bottom of the post. It sizzles and starts to topple over. This gives Kai an idea and soon directed it to the Grundle, jumped over it and came behind it before pulling on his chain, causing the post to fall on top of the Grundle, crushing it and the chain link on the top of the post breaks off, freeing him.

In the city, the civilians cheer on Kai for killing one of the Grundles. "Alright, Kai!" One of them said as they watch him head over to Faith to try and free her.

At Ouroborus, Maggie sees the crushed Grundle and grinned. "One down, five to go." She said before quickly moving to the side as the Grundle that was moving around Chamille came at her. Blake looks to see the scarred Grundle moving away from Dragon before it charges at him, making him close his eyes briefly to remember what Dragon had taught him in situations like this.

2 Years Earlier

On the Destiny's Bounty, Blake, in his previous appearance with short hair, holds his hand out at a couple of giant birds, blowing wind at them as they try to go for some meat on a barbecue. "Go away!" He yelled. "Go on, shoo! Go away, or you'll be on the barbecue tomorrow!"

"What is the matter, Blake?" Dragon's voice was heard as Blake turned to see him walking over to him.

"These stupid birds are trying to get at the meat."

"The raptors are driven to it because they are carnivorous. Tell me, what is best way to defeat your enemy?"

"Taking them by surprise?"

"No." He holds his arm up and slowly moved to the raptors before one lands on his arm. "It is to make them your friend, no matter what the size. Try it." He lets the raptor on his arm fly away as Blake slowly moved up to the last raptor while holding his arm up.

The raptor looks at Blake for a bit before flying down and lands on his arm. "Wow."

"Remember, make the enemy a friend of yours, no matter what their size is."

"No matter what their size is." He soon lets the raptor fly away and he watches it go.

Present

Blake looked at the scarred Grundle as it charged at him before moving his legs down and jumped with all of his might, jumping over the Grundle, who hits the post while Blake lands on its back. And with one great tug, he breaks off the spike connecting the chain to the post, then quickly wrapped it around the Grundle's neck and pulled on it as it roared before stopping and Blake makes it move to some posts where others were still chained to where they notice him. "Blake's managed to tame one of them!" Faith said.

"Yes." Cole replied. "And now, he has made a new friend."

Seliel had managed to undoes the other cuff and see Blake riding the scarred Grundle to the Grundle missing a toe and struck it, knocking it back. "Help the others!" He said before he moved off to head over to Chamille while still controlling the scarred Grundle.

Nya ran to Dragon and tried to pull on the chain before the Grundle with the missing toe tried to get at them as Blake went to Chamille and had the Grundle splatter on her chains, letting her go before she went over to P.I.X.A.L. as Jay was whipping at the Grundle coming for her. Faith gets onto Kai's shoulders to jump up her pillar before pulling on her chains, breaking the spike off, and lands on the ground, spinning the chain as a Grundle came at her. Seliel jumped from a stand to the post that Cole was restrained to and pulled on the spike, getting it out, but the wounds on her back cause her to groan and fall off, but Cole manages to catch her and they smile before she uses the paper clip to unlock his cuffs. "This isn't how it's supposed to be!" Chongbai yelled, standing up. "Not at all!"

Cole activates his Earth Punch and stomps the ground, shaking the ground and the shockwave caused the spikes on the posts to those still chained to come off, including three cameras.

At Laughy's, the TV immediately showed static from when the camera landed on the ground before it showed the last camera's point of view, revealing all the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Chamille and Seliel free of their restraints, some still having chains on them while Jay held the chain he was cuffed to up to defend himself. "They're all free!" Ray said.

"They just have to get out of there now." Dareth replied.

At the arena in Ouroboros, as the Grundles prepared to come close while Blake tried to move the scarred Grundle away before whistling was heard, in tune. "Where is that whistling coming from?" Lloyd asked.

As soon as the whistling stopped, a bright light suddenly appears and the Grundles all back away in fear and Blake managed to force the scarred Grundle to calm down. "What was that?" Jay asked as he lowered the chain.

"Grundles cannot stand light, which is why Chongbai chose to execute us at nightfall." Dragon replied before they all look up to see the individual who shun the light. It was the same one who was following them and was holding a staff, which is shining the light at the end of it. He immediately dispersed it and straightened it near him. "Master Yether?"

"Master Yether." Chongbai said, repeating what Dragon said, as he and the members soon bow down before the individual jumps down, bounces off a Grundle, jumps over to Zhong and grabs a set of keys.

"I'll take those." He said, causing him to become surprised at the actions before the individual heads over to the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Chamille, Faith and Seliel. "Get behind me!" He immediately the staff up. "Cover your eyes." He soon produces an even brighter light from the staff, blinding everyone and the Grundles.

"Argh! I can't see a thing!"

"Yingteer, Jieshou, don't let them escape!" Back-Chain yelled.

"That's my foot!" Grunin said.

The light soon dispersed and everyone looks to see the Grundles looking around for their escaped prey, and the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Dragon, Chamille, Faith, Seliel, the individual and the scarred Grundle were no longer there. "Find them!" Chongbai yelled. "I want that staff!"

"Yes, Master." They all replied before they take off and Chongbai looked at the Grundles, just looking around, with the dead Grundle still underneath the collapsed post.

"Yether will pay for this insufficient assistance."

(A/N: I know, this chapter sort of has Attack of the Clones vibes, but I thought it would be nice to put in. Also, is the hooded stranger really Yether? And what should Mantis go by now that he knows his true name? You decide.
