The forming energy started to transform into a dark portal as the Ninja look at it before civilians started running away, some heading into buildings for shelter. "We gotta help get these people inside." Lloyd said. "Spread out!" They head off in multiple directions as objects started to glow.

At Kryptarium Prison, as the Yether Age clan was being ready to be brought in, everyone looked up to see the dark portal. "Yes!" Back-Chain said. "Master Chongbai has succeeded!"

Bolts of lightning soon hit all the members' cuffs, breaking them off and knocking the guards down. "Brothers and sisters, let's go!" Zhong yelled as they start taking off.

In Ninjago City, Kai and Geoff help Ronin over to the museum as the left side of his forehead was bleeding before someone helps him in and they take off.

By the comic store, Zane and Blake help some children into the room as Blake turned to Cirrus. "Watch out for them." He said before she nodded and went in.

Downtown, the dark portal keeps sucking in objects as civilians start heading into buildings for shelter, some banging on buildings with their doors closed before they take off to find another building to hide in. Close by, three construction workers, drinking cartons of iced coffee, see the portal and start to move away, trying to find somewhere to seek shelter. "Oi!" Dareth yelled from Laughy's as Scars helped a young girl inside with many others already in the bar. "Come inside!" He beckons them to come.

The young construction worker was about to before one of the middle aged workers stopped him. "We can't!" He replied.

Dareth becomes confused as the young construction worker shook his head and pointed to his carton. "No outside drinks allowed!" He called out. Dareth turned to see a nearby sign by his window, saying 'No outside drinks in bar. Thank you.' The workers then try to finish off their drinks before they reluctantly threw them away and ran into the bar before Dareth closes and locks the door. (A/N: That part was based off of a Farmer's Union ad. It's an Australian iced coffee company)

At Sanders', Lloyd, Gewuji and Maggie help some civilians in as Misako helps an elderly man in. "Mom, make sure they stay in here." Lloyd said.

"Of course, son." Misako replied as they head in.

At the police station, Simon, Tommy, Navis, Hayden and some officers help Jay and Nya bring some civilians inside. "Get ready for anything." Navis said. "Chongbai will not be taking over my city under my watch. Not at all. Not while we're still standing."

"Yes, sir!" All the officers reply.

In the middle of the city, Cole helps some civilians into a nearby building before looking up to see something coming out of the portal. "What is that?" He asked.

Someone soon lands in front of him and he becomes shocked at who it was the moment they stood up. It was Fino, wearing Departed Robes. "Time to punch your head in." She said as she immediately charged at him.

Cole quickly grabbed hold of her arms, but Fino knees him and throws him near a wall. "You're even tougher than I am."

"I've been wanting to do this since you've sent me to the Departed Realm." She soon raised a leg to stomp Cole, but he rolls to the side to avoid it.

At the museum, Kai and Geoff look up at the sky as Ronin came up to them. "Have any idea what that thing is?" He asked.

"No idea." Kai replied. "But right now, you need to stay here and protect the people inside, even those that are wounded."

"Good luck." Ronin heads back inside as Kai saw him go in.

"We better find the others." Geoff said.

"I was thinking the same thing too." Kai replied before they take off.

Further away from the comic book store, Zane and Blake see someone land from the portal and were shocked at who it was. "Small-Bangs." Blake said. "But how?"

"That portal must be a pathway from the Departed Realm." Zane replied.

"You're right about that, tin can." Small-Bangs replied. "And I don't need guns to help me out in this."

"I think you will." Blake said before turning to Zane. "Inform Lloyd and the others about what we heard, I'll hold her off."

Zane immediately took off as Small-Bangs watched him leave. "Bye." She sarcastically spoke and mockingly waved at him while Blake turned back to face her. "Alright, sonny, let's do this." They soon charge at each other.

Far from Sanders', Lloyd, Gewuji and Maggie look at the portal before turning at the sound of sword scraping to see Sharpocroc and Grunin, coming up to them with some members, all holding swords. "You're all supposed to be in jail!" Gewuji said.

"Let's just say that our master's success has distracted everyone around us." Grunin replied as he flicked his tongue. "Get them!" The members charge at them followed by Grunin and Sharpocroc. Lloyd avoids Sharpocroc's big sword while Gewuji conjured a glass spike to block Gunin and another member's swords before turning and struck the member, knocking him down.

Maggie grabbed hold of a member before kicking him and looked to see Lloyd and Gewuji struggling against their opponents before holding her hand out two members. They immediately lose grip of the swords before she moved her arm to the other way. "Guys, catch!" She yelled. Lloyd and Gewuji see the swords coming and immediately caught them to clash with their opponents while Maggie somersaulted over another member, hold her hand out as she did so and forced him to lose his sword, which she grabs.

By the police station, Jay, Nya, Simon, Tommy, Navis, Hayden and some officers see Back-Chain and some members charging at them with swords. "They got swords, Commish." Simon said.

"Then we'll use tasers and nightsticks." Navis replied as they all soon charge at them.

Some members block some officers' nightsticks, but some fail to notice the tasers and were immediately stunned by them while Back-Chain came across Simon and Tommy. "Come to give me a good spanking, bad boys?" He asked.

"They were right about him." Simon said to Tommy.

"Then we'll just hit him harder." Tommy replied before they charge at him and try to strike, but Back-Chain grabs hold of Simon's arm, who is holding his taser, before moving it to Tommy, stunning him before taking his nightstick and strikes Simon in the buttocks.

"You have been a bad boy." He said before a bolt of Lightning hits him, knocking him back before Simon moved back as he looked to see it was Jay. "Ah, my favourite playmate is here."

"He's not your playmate anymore, Back-Chain." Hayden said as he came up to Jay, holding two swords, before handing one to him. They immediately charge at him as Mantis quickly blocked Back-Chain's immediate strike while Jay soon did Spinjitzu, knocking back Back-Chain, but he immediately got back up and went to strike Jay, but he blocks his strike. Close by, Nya fires a flow of Water before doing Spinjitzu at some members, repeating the process a few times before grabbing a sword and blocked another member's strike.

Close to Sanders', Zane sees Lloyd, Gewuji and Maggie before Zhong and Sai-Feng show up, holding swords, about to strike him, but two Spinjitzu tornadoes knock them back and they disperse, revealing Kai and Geoff, who hold swords. "Kai, Geoff, I figured out what the portal is." Zane said.

"A portal from the Departed Realm." Geoff replied. "I know."

"We have a lot of problems going on at the moment." Kai said as Zhong gets up and prepared to strike, but he blocks it while Zane held out his hand to fire a ball of Ice at Sai-Feng.

"We also have to find Chongbai and stop him."

"I found him." P.I.X.A.L. said through their communicators as Geoff took over Zane's spot at fighting Sai-Feng while Zane did the same with Kai. "He's heading for the hospital."

"The hospital?" Kai asked.

"Callen." Geoff replied, realising why Chongbai would go there. "He's going to kill the baby." He then turned to P.I.X.A.L. "P.I.X.A.L., notify security and tell them I'm on my way!"

"Affirmative." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the communicator before Geoff did Spinjitzu, knocking Sai-Feng down and takes off for the hospital, hoping to reach it before Chongbai.

Geoff runs along the street among the ruined debris before stopping as he sees Jieshou and Yingteer coming up to him. "Sorry, zombie, we're not letting you through." Jieshou said, getting out a Beretta 92FS.

"This ends here." Yingteer said as he got out a Glock 17 and they prepared to shoot.

"Stop!" Someone called out. They look to see it was Zhong. "He's mine. After you two." He suddenly strikes them both before Geoff ran at Jieshou and forced him to let go of his gun while Zhong moved Yingteer's to his left leg and fired, causing him to squeal and lie on the ground as Geoff turned to Zhong. "Even though the job is over..." He suddenly glowed purple, revealing to be Chamille. "...I want to keep the city safe for your friend."

"Thanks." Geoff said before taking off while Chamille did the same in the opposite direction.
