"Hey guys?" Kai asked.

The ninja were flying to the realm crystal on their dragons. They've only been in the air for a few minutes though.

"Why are we flying to go get the realm crystal when we have dragons that can cross realms?" Kai finished.

The guys all looked at each other with "Oh yeah" faces.

"So, which one of you knows the way to the Lightning realm?" Lloyd asked to the other dragons. Jay's dragon roared in response. Jay looked up in surprise.

"Well, he is a lightning dragon," Jay said sort of laughing.

The dragon started to fly straight up. The others followed in suit.

"Hey Jay, this is fun, right?" Cole shouted at him.

"Yeah, I guess," Jay answered in a monotone voice. Jay's teammates looked completely taken back from his response.

"Okay, Jay's lost it," Cole whispered to Kai, Zane, and Lloyd. They nodded.

"He should be super excited right now," Zane said.

"He can't stay like this forever," Lloyd told them.

"And he won't." Kai stated. "Have a little faith in him. He just needs time to process everything."

The dragons had taken the ninja to the storm layer of clouds, where only the lightning that came out of the black clouds lit up the sky. The ninja could feel the electricity in the air as the dragons stopped under a big sparking cloud.

"Jay, your dragon better know what he's doing," Cole warned, staring up at the increasingly bright cloud.

"He does Cole," Jay replied. "I hope," he quietly said to himself, looking up. Then, a flash of light blinded the ninja, followed by a loud crack of thunder.

Nya fell down to the floor, gasping for air. Her captor- who went by the name of Red Lightning- had taken her vengestone chains off. He didn't want her to get weaker. It really didn't make Nya feel much better, considering how weak he made her. Nya winced in pain on the floor of her cell as she could feel bruises forming on her stomach.

At least he didn't punch my face... yet, she thought, clutching onto her stomach. Nya felt a wave of exhaustion come over. She tried to fight it off, because who knows what Red Lightning would do to her in her sleep, but it was no use. Hopefully the guys will find me soon. And then Nya drifted off into a deep sleep.

Red Lightning walked up to Nya's cell and watched her sleep. "Oh Nya, when will you finally realize-" he cut himself off when he heard footsteps coming up behind him.

"Sir," said a feminine voice, "The ninja, Nya's friends, have came to this realm."

Red Lightning slowly smiled. "Good. Now Redlight, go and see what they're up too. Don't be spoted and don't attack unless necessary."

Redlight bowed. "Yes Master," she replied, backing away.

Red Lightning looked into the cage. "Soon Nya, your friends will join you," he hissed.

The ninja appeared in the sky, screaming, and dropped onto a large cloud. A loud boom came afterwards and the sky cleared.

"Did we just," Lloyd started.

"Get hit by-" Zane got cut off.

"A teleportational lightning bolt that brought us here and was totally awesome!?" Jay shouted jumping up, clearly full of energy.

Kai smirked. "Told ya," he whispered to the other three.

The five looked around. It kind of reminded them of cloud kingdom, only cooler. Jay's eyes were sparkling like a little kid. It was named after his element after all.

In front stood a huge golden gate with the lightning symbol engraved into it. The five stood in awe. Jay reached out to touch the symbol but the gate flew open. Out came a boy and girl who were both wearing light blue shirts with lighting going from across their shoulders and ending at their waists. They were both wearing darker blue capes with the lightning symbol on the back.

The girl and boy stopped and stared at the five as soon as they saw them. Jay nervously looked around at both of them, making eye contact with the boy. The boy immediately slapped his hand over his mouth looking at Jay in complete shock. The girl stared a little more before gathering herself.

"Welcome to the Lightning Kingdom," the girl said, bowing. "I'm Jaylin, and that's my younger brother Jason."

"You didn't have to introduce me as your younger brother!" He exclamied. Turning toward the ninja, he said "All visitors must report to the king. We will show you to him." The two siblings started walking. The njnja stared at each other confused, but followed the kids anyways.

They walked through what seemed to be the main city of the kindom, where many people were out and about. But everybody cleared a path once they saw the children escorting the ninja.

If a person saw Jay, their eyes would go wide in shock and then they would start whispering and pointing out him to others. Jay was very confused by this so he started talking to Jaylin and Jason.

"So, how old are you guys," he asked.

"I'm ten," Jaylin replied.

"And I'm eight," Jason proudly responded.

Jay nodded in response. "Well I'm Jay."

"We know," Jason told him before slapping his hand over his mouth. Jay would've laughed if it weren't so creepy.

"Looks like you're famous," Kai whispered to Jay.

"Am not!" Jay whisper-shouted back. Kai gave him a look before introducing himself like the others already did.

"... And why here is our buddy Jay so famous around here?" Kai asked.

Jay looked embarrassed. "Kaaii!!" He shouted.

"Well, according to the ledgens, your going to save us from The Clan of Red Lightning!" Jason exclamied, turning around and looked at Jay with hopeful eyes. The ninja shared worried glances, as they weren't sure what the young boy meant, or if they'll even be able to stop this clan at all.

"Yes, but, we'll let the king explain later." Jaylin stopped and nodded at the gaurds who where gaurding the entrance to the castle. "Anyways, welcome to our palace."

The ninja stared at everything, looking around. A grand looking staircase greeted them. Jaylin and Jason started walking up them. After taking them up a few more flights and turning down a couple of hallways, they were at the throne room.

"So, the legdends are true. You have come to save my kingdom," the king's voice boomed. Jaylin and Jason stood by the king's side.

"Um, us sir?" Jay asked, making the king glance around at the other four.

He shook his head. "No, you. Jay," he stated firmly. "Don't tell me you don't know the legdend." The king laughed.

"Well, we don't exactly come from this realm," Cole explained.

"Ha! Of course not!" The king exclamied. "You all come from Ninjago, a great realm if I do say so myself."

"What is this... legdend?" Asked Lloyd.

"You five know that there are 16 realms. There is a realm next to us called Djinjago."

"Djinjago?" Zane asked, confused. The others looked up at the king confused too. Well, all except for Jay, who was thinking about a certain djin he once knew.

"Why yes, Djinjago, the land of the djins," said the king. "Djins can grant you three wishes. Our kingdom was good friends with Djinjago, but one day their realm started to crumble. Now all of the djins are gone, except for one, who is trapped in a teapot.

"And you guys do not wanna meet him," Jay states, shivering a little.

The king contuined on. "Unfortunately, a new evil has seem to rise up from the rubble of Djinjago, terrorizing other realms since then. They call themselves The Clan of Red Lightning." The king sighed and shook his head.

"So is that where they have Nya?" Jay asked hopefully, but the king seemed to ignore him.

"And you," the king pointed at Jay, "are the one who will save us from The Clan of Red Lightning." The king finished strongly. Jay was still very confused.

"That’s great and all," Kai started, "but we came to save our friend."

"And how do you even know your friend is here?" The king questioned.

"We found a note," Cole said getting annoyed.

"Yes, and we saw her disappear after a red lightning bolt hit her and whoever she was fighting," Zane said, keeping his cool.

The king nodded. "In that case, she must be held in the clan's base. Those two may show you where it's located for a distance." He pointed to Jaylin and Jason. "In the meantime, I will have rooms prepared for you five. I will finish telling you the legdend at dinner." The king waved his arm in a dismissive matter and the children started leading the ninja.
