"And Kai Smith is still on the front. Do you think he will win again, Ronin?"

"I sure do Darreth. He is the best racer for the past three years!"

Kai was driving as fast as he can. He had only some more laps and will win, how always. He was smirking at himself. Suddenly, he heard something to pop. The car started driving on one side and crashed on the grass. Kai panicked, but then he hit his head in the roof of the car and fell unconscious. Ambulances arrived and took him, then drove him to the hospital

Skylor Chen was walking towards the Info Desk, checking some things. She put a paper on the counter

"Hey, Sel, can you please put it with the papers of the patient from room 268?"Skylor asked

"No problem, Sky"Seliel said taking the paper. Skylor walked away and then saw one of the man nurses running to her

"Skylor, they need you in the emergency room!"he said

"Okay, thank you"Skylor said and started walking towards the emergency room. When she arrived, she saw a brown spiky haired boy, laying on the bed, wincing in pain. He looked terrible

"What's the case?"Skylor asked putting her gloves on and rolling one chair next to the bed, then siting on it

"Kai Smith, car racer. He got into a car crash during a race"one of the nurses said. Skylor started pressing on his stomach and he winced in pain. She took the apparat with whom they are checking the pregnant women(don't know the name in English, sorry)

"There is some free moving liquid"Skylor said"But otherwise he is okay. We will have to open him, thought"Skylor said while Kai winced once again

"N-No. Please. No operation"Kai said between pain

"We are sorry Mr. Smith. We have to if you want to be okay. We will be gentle, I promise"Skylor said and Kai looked at her, then nodded. Skylor shot him a smile, then put the apparat down

"Put him in third room and I want someone to check his bones"Skylor commanded

"Okay Doctor Chen"the nurse said and ran out the room

"Get him ready and we are going in room three"Skylor said and the other two people nodded, then Skylor left to get herself ready

After two hours, the operation passed and Skylor went out of the room. Outside a girl with black hair and a guy with brown were sitting on the bench. The girl shot up

"How is my brother!?"she asked putting her hands on Skylor's shoulders

"He is okay. He has some broken bones, but we fixed him. He will have to stay here for now though"Skylor explained

"Thank you so much!"the girl said giving Skylor a hug. Skylor returned it

"No problem. That's my job after all"Skylor answered with a smile

"When can we see him?"the girl asked when she pulled from Skylor

"Right now he is in Reanimation and is still unconscious. You will be able to see him when he is awake. I will let you know when that happens"Skylor said and the girl nodded

"Thank you again"the girl said giving her a smile

"No problem. See ya later, I guess"Skylor said also giving her a smile

"Yeah, bye"the girl said and sat back down, then the guy wrapped her in a hug. Skylor smiled and walked away

Some hours later, Skylor walked into the Reanimation room to check on Kai. She was checking his pulse, when she heard him groaning. Skylor turned to him and saw Kai blinking his eyes

"Hello Mr. Smith. How do you feel?"Skylor asked smiling and ready to write something on her paper

"Everything hurts"Kai groaned and Skylor wrote it down

"Don't worry. It's normal. We will give you pain killers and you will feel better"Skylor explained

"How bad was it?"Kai asked looking at Skylor

"Well, you had an inside bleeding and some broken bones, but you are okay. You will have to stay here for a while"Skylor said looking at him

"But, I have a race the next week. Will I be able to go to it?"Kai asked with Hope in his eyes

"I am sorry to disappoint you, but no. You will have to stop the races for a while, until you are fully healed"Skylor said and Kai groaned. The two stayed in silence, for a while, until Skylor broke it

"You sister is here to see you. Do you want me to call her?"Skylor asked pointing at the door with her pen

"Yes, please"Kai said and Skylor nodded. She went out the door, Kai following every move of hers and watching her ponytail swinging

"At least some luck with the doctor"Kai smirked at himself again

Skylor walked back to where Kai's sister and the other guy were sitting. She saw them still there

"Umm...Miss Smith? Your brother is awake"Skylor said and the girl jumped from her seat

"Can I go to see him now?"Nya asked and Skylor smiled and nodded

"Follow me"Skylor said and started walking back. The two followed her. They went to the Reanimation and Skylor gave them some steril clothes. The two put them on and entered. The girl ran to Kai and ran to his bed

"You are an idiot. You made me so worried!"the girl said kind of angrily and kind of relieved

"Nya, don't worry I am okay, but I don't know what happened. I just heard a pop and I hit my head in the roof and fell unconscious. The next thing I know is that I woke up here and this beautiful doctor was checking me"Kai said

"Ohooo...Kai has a crush!"the guy said chuckling

"Maybe Jay, maybe..."Kai said

After some more talking, Jay and Nya had to go. The two went out of the room and saw Skylor still outside

"Thank you very much doctor ummm..."

"Chen. Skylor Chen"Skylor said"You can call me Skylor"

"Okay, thank you so much Skylor. I am Nya, by the way. And this guy is Jay"Nya said introducing herself and the guy with her

"Nice to meet you"Skylor said

"Us too, but we have to go. My parents are waiting for us"Jay said taking Nya's hand in his

"Yeah. I guess we will see each other tomorrow"Nya said giving Skylor a smile

"Yup. See ya tomorrow"Skylor said waving at Nya, while Jay was dragging her out

So, guys, I know I posted here for a while and I am sorry, but I didn't had any ideas for this book lately. Today I went on some theater with my class and I had the idea, so voilà! It will have like three parts. I am still not sure. I hope you liked it and see ya!
