"Ok new year new me nobody I know goes to this school," Jay thought to take a deep breath as he went past the doors.

"Hey, Jay Walker," a voice asked causing him to turn around seeing a girl with a camera.

"Uh yes"? She walked up to him.

"I'm Nya Smith ill be your guide say cheese" she snapped her camera making him rub his eyes.

"Oh yeah" wow she was pretty in Jay's opinion.

"So that's the gym there's the library my friends and I study in there come by later if you want".

Wait is she actually inviting me to something nobody ever did.

"Yeah sure," I whispered blushing.

The next few weeks Jay hung out with Nya and her friends.

It was Valentines and there was a dance coming up at school and he wanted to ask Nya.

"Okay its easy just go over there and ask her to the dance" Cole said pointing at Nya.

"That is not easy"!

"Hey Jay" Nya suddenly was behind him making Cole immediately ditch when he wasn't looking.

"Yes" he managed to stutter out after a few moments of awkward silence.

"Well I was wondering if you wanna go the dance with me"?

His eyes widened "yeah that would uh be cool" he blushed.

"Great it's a date" she kissed his cheek and walked off.
