Alex sat on her bed in her room.  She couldn't really remember anything that happened while she was under Emma's influence at first, but now it was coming back in flashes.  She knew what she did was bad, but now the flashes of what she did show her how bad what she did was.  She hurt her brother, her cousins, and her friends.  Not to mention she worried her parents yet again.  She didn't think that she would ever do something so horrible.  She was always trained to use her powers to protect people, but she just tried to hurt people instead.  She actually did hurt her own team.

She heard a knock on the door that broke her out of her thoughts.  "Come in," she said.

Justin opened the door and saw Alex on her bed.  He leaned against the door frame while holding an ice pack on his right shoulder.  "How are you holding up?" he asked.

"I'm ok," she lied.

"You know I know when you're lying right.  I am your twin."

Alex sighed.  "It's just...I did such horrible things.  I used my powers to almost kill someone who was hurting a woman.  I mean, he shouldn't have been trying to hurt her, but I shouldn't have tried to kill him.  I also tried to hurt the people who I'm supposed to protect...and I attacked my team.  I even hurt my own brother."  She gestured to the ice pack.

"Don't worry about it.  It was just a dislocated shoulder.  Master Cole popped it back in place.  I know you could've done a lot worse if you really wanted to."  Alex didn't say anything.  Justin walked into the room and sat on the edge of Alex's bed.  "I know you were trying your best to fight it off, but-"

"I should've fought harder!"  Tears started forming in Alex's eyes, but she tried to hold them back.  She failed.

"You were fighting off her control as much as you could," Justin tried to reassure her.  "She's pretty powerful.  I managed to fight off her control, but just barely.  I got a killer migraine afterwards.  But I also wasn't in an emotionally vulnerable state like you were.  You don't need to blame yourself for what happened."

Alex nodded as she wiped away her tears.  "How's Max doing?"

"He's not doing great either.  His parents are with him.  I managed to get a brief conversation with him.  He blames himself for everything too.  You two really are meant for each other."

Alex playfully punched her brother in the shoulder that was not injured.

"Careful!" Justin told her.  "What are you trying to do?  Even it out."

Alex laughed a little and rolled her eyes.  "Thanks for checking up on me."

"We might not always get along, but we're still twins.  Plus, our whole 'twin power' thing gives us a stronger connection to each other.  What I'm trying to say is, if you ever need me, I'm here."

"Thanks."

"No problem."  Justin got up to leave, but stopped at the door and turned around.  "Also, don't be surprised if mom and dad come in and smother you for a bit.  I knew you wanted some alone time first, so I've been trying to keep them away."

"But," she urged her brother to continue.

"But I think I've kept them away as long as I could."

"You can go ahead and send them in."

Justin nodded and walked back to the living room where all of the parents, minus Lloyd and Britney, were.  "Mom.  Dad.  Alex said it was ok for you guys to go see her now."  Jay and Nya wordlessly got up and went straight to their daughter's room.  Justin watched his parents go see his sister and then he went to the Samurai X Cave where the remainder of the team was.  "What's going on down here?" he asked when he arrived.

"We're trying to see if we can locate Emma," Mason said.

"Any luck?"

"Not yet-"

"Wait!" Rosie cut Mason off.  "I think I might have just located her."

Justin looked at the location on the screen.  "Are you sure that's her?"

"I am confident.  I also believe that might be her secret base."

"If that's her secret base, we might also be able to find out who she's working for.  Let's go."

"What?!"  Everyone was confused.

"If we wait too long, they could find out we know where their base is and go somewhere else.  If we want to stop Emma and her master, we have to go now."

"Justin, you are also injured," Rosie pointed out.

"You mean my shoulder?  Master Cole popped it back in place and now, it's just a little sore still.  I'll be fine."

"You should rest it for a few days."

"This is more important!  I'll rest it as soon as Emma is behind bars."  Everyone was unsure about it, but nodded.  "Let's get to the Bounty."

"What about Alex and Max?" Juliet asked.

"They're still shaken about everything, so I don't want to get them involved.  We can do this ourselves.  Now, let's get to the Bounty."  The team left to go stop Emma and her master.

Back in the monastery, Alex was in her room alone again.  Her parents were in there for a while, but Alex got them to leave.  She needed to think about everything she did.

She heard a knock on the door.  "Come in," she groaned, but was surprised when Max opened the door.  "Max!  W-What's up?"  She acted like she was fine, but Max could easily see through her facade.

"I just wanted to talk to you," Max said, avoiding eye contact.  "I know that you're not doing well and to be honest, neither am I."

"Yeah.  My brother told me."

Max felt a little awkward.  Even though he was under Emma's influenced when he kissed her, he still felt like he betrayed Alex.

"Max?  You ok?"

Max made eye contact with Alex.  "I'm sorry."

Alex got up and walked over to Max and put a hand on his cheek.  "It's not your fault.  I know that now.  It's Emma's.  I should've talked to you before I freaked out like that."

Max grabbed Alex's hand.  "I get it.  In that moment, you thought I was cheating on you."

"But I know you would never do that.  Emma was trying to turn us against each other.  She wanted to cause chaos among the team.  Justin managed to escape her influence, unlike us."

After hearing Justin's name, he thought about how he hadn't seen him or the rest of the team in a while.  Justin said he would check on Max later when they could talk more.  "Where's your brother?" he asked Alex.

"I don't know.  I haven't seen him since we talked earlier."

"What about the rest of the team?"

"I believe I heard something about them trying to locate Emma."

"You don't think they-"

"Did something stupid?  Justin has been leading them.  Of course they did something stupid!"

Alex and Max walked out to the living room where all the parents were.  "Have any of you seen the others?" Max asked.

"I believe they went to the Samurai X Cave," Cole answered.

"Thanks."  Alex and Max went to the Samurai X Cave to find that no one was there and the Bounty was gone.  "Yep.  They did something stupid."

"We have to go help them!" Alex said.  They noticed a location that was pinned on the computer screen.  "You think that's where they went?"

"Only one way to find out."  Alex and Max left to go help their team.
