Max's POV

So, I'm going to try to do a better job at the closing than Justin and try not to break-

You know what?  Nevermind.

Anyway, Zeke keeps bragging about how he's having his first date with Kyara to Harper and Felix.  Mainly Harper.  He's keeps telling them that he's braver than they are because he asked out his crush and they haven't asked out theirs.  The scary part about Zeke going out on a date is that Master Kai is giving him advice.  Let that sink in.  I've been working with Justin to try to get the advice his father gave him out of his head.  Let's hope the date goes well.

Now as for me and Alex, we decided to take a break from being ninja.  After everything that happened, we just need a break.  Emma really messed us up.  She made me run away.  She made Alex hurt her family and friends.  She hurt our relationship.  I'm actually really glad that she's behind bars now.  Does that make me a bad person?  Nah.

We're trying to rebuild our relationship after everything that happened.  It will take some work, but we're willing to put in the effort.  For us.  We've also been starting to do charity work.  Not just for Ninjago City, but also Stiix, Ignacia, Jamanakai, Nom, and the town that I ran off to and we might possibly expand.  We know how some people currently feel about us after what happened.  We found out while doing some charity work and told Justin about it.  We figured that our parents know about it and that's why they didn't want us to watch the news, but they don't know that we know about it.  We also agreed not to tell the others.  They'll find out when we go back to school in a couple days, but for now we thought it would be better to not tell them.

Now, you might be wondering about the team since me and Alex are taking a break from it.  We talked to Justin once we made our decision and he has taken over leadership duties for now.  He did a pretty good job when I was gone and Alex was bad, so we thought that he could handle it until we're ready to rejoin the team.  He understood that we just need time.  We'll rejoin the team when we're ready, but for now, the team is in good hands.
