Prom Night Part 6

Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago, just the story and my OC's.

Justin and Alex were watching Aaron getting ready to use their twin power.

"What are we gonna do?" Justin whispered to Alex.  "We can't let him use our twin power.  If he does, it will cause a lot of damage to Ninjago."

"I know," Alex whispered back.  "We need to distract him and stall him to buy the others time to find us."

"And how do you plan on doing that?"

"Come on.  Our dad is Jay Walker who his team would call the Master of Blabber or Mouth of Lightning.  We annoy him."

Justin nodded and a smile started to creep onto his face.  "Hey Aaron!" Justin called and Aaron turned to face him.  "Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?  Is water wet?  Is a hotdog a sandwhich?  Is cereal soup?  What came first, the chicken or the egg?"

"What are you blabbering about?" Aaron asked annoyed.

"It's working," Justin whispered to Alex.

Alex smirked and took her turn.  "I'm bored!  This is boring just waiting for you to do whatever it is your doing.  Can't you let us do something?  We don't like to just sit still for too long.  It gets boring fast."

"Why did the key to my plan have to be two annoying teenagers?" Aaron mumbled to himself before realization hit him.  "Wait.  Annoying."  He starts to walk towards the twins.  "That's your plan, huh?  To annoy me, so that I would be distracted?  How well did that work out for you?"

"Pretty good, actually," Justin said and gestured to how they took Aaron away from what he was doing.  Both Justin and Alex started laughing.

"You little brats!"

"We're not really little," Alex said.  "We are 16 after all."

"Well, your still mino-" Aaron cut himself off.  "You're trying to do it again."  Aaron turned around and went back to what he was working on.  "I'm not going to fall for it again."

"How old are you anyway?  You seem ancient," Justin teased.

Aaron look at the master of lightning and marched over to him.  He grabbed Justin by his shirt and said to him, "You really are a handful, aren't you?  For the record, I am not that old.  We'll see how you feel someday when you're my age."  He threw Justin onto the ground hard and went back to what he was doing.

"Are you ok?" Alex asked Justin.

"Yeah," Justin said.  "I think we bought as much time as we can."

The Bounty

"Any sign of them?" Max asked Rosie who was currently steering.

"Not yet," Rosie said.  "I have been trying to track the teleportation signature to see where they might have ended up."

"And?"

"And I might have found it.  I am steering us to where the teleportation signature went."

"Good job, Rosie."

"Hey Max!"  Max turned around when he heard Mason's voice calling him over.

"What is it, Mason?"

"We saw something out on the deck.  We think we may have found them."

"Really?!  Let's check it out."  Max followed Mason onto the deck.  They went to the railing and saw people on top of one of the rooftops of Ninjago City.  Max could easily spot Alex down there.  He has loved her forever and could easily spot her from anywhere.  "Rosie, take us down," Max said over the comms.

"Ok.  Now I feel like an idiot for running to the bridge to get you instead of using the comms," Mason said to Max.  Everyone laughed.

Rooftops

"It's time to begin," Aaron said.

"No.  I didn't think that it would be time to start what we're going to be doing for another hour," Justin said, still trying to distract Aaron.

"Nice try, Lightning Boy."

"I agree with what he said.  It's not time yet," Alex said, going along with what her brother had said.

"I know what you two are trying to do, Water Girl, and it's not gonna work."

Just then, the others dropped down from the Bounty.  "Let them go!" Max yelled.

"Hmmm."  Aaron pretended to be thinking.  "I don't think so."

Aaron took out a little device that he had and threw it at Justin and Alex, but...it didn't do anything?

"Ha!  It didn't work!" Justin taunted.

"Uh...Justin.  Did you forget that we have vengestone cuffs on us at the moment?" Alex asked her brother.

"That did slip my mind."

One of the goons came up behind the twins and took off the vengestone cuffs.  The device turned on and started to drain their powers and combine them.  Storm clouds started to appear over Ninjago and a massive lightning storm began.  Lightning was striking down everywhere and heavy rain poured down over Ninjago.  It was powerful!

"We have to save Justin and Alex!" Max screamed.

"What about the people of Ninjago?" Mason asked.  "They're in danger!"

"Right."  Max thought for a second on what to do.  "Zeke, Harper, Felix, go down and get the people to safety.  We'll handle things up here."

"You got it Max!" Zeke said as he, Harper, and Felix went down to help Ninjago's citizens.

"You sent the kiddies off to help the citizens," Aaron said.

"Don't call them kiddies!" Mason snapped.

"Let them go or we will be forced to take extreme measures," Rosie said as she tried to keep her voice calm, even though inside, she wanted to kill him for hurting her boyfriend.

"Well then, I guess you'll have to take extreme measures," Aaron said.  "Because I'm not letting them go."

"You will let them go," Juliet said sternly as started to glow orange.

"I guess Juliet is unlocking her true potential," Max said.

Juliet touched Max and Mason to use their powers and combined the two.  She shot the combined power at Aaron, who managed to dodge it, barely.  It did end up hitting the device that was draining the twins' powers and the storm over Ninjago started to disperse.

"No!  No!  No!" Aaron yelled.  "This was not supposed to happen!"

"Believe it," Juliet said.

Aaron growled at her and starting charging at her.

"JULIET!!!" Mason yelled.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed!  My updates are going to be slower for now.  I'm hoping to try to publish once a week.  I'm publishing it as soon as I get it done.
