(A/N: I apologise for not uploading this last week, because I had a weekend away, and will also have next weekend off to be in Melbourne to celebrate my brother's engagement)

5 Minutes Later

At the police station, Cole, Gewuji and Hayden, who has his police uniform on, came up to the others as well as P.I.X.A.L. and Cirrus, who were by a nearby board before Hayden quickly kissed Gewuji's cheek and went over to his desk. "Okay, we're all here." Cole said.

"You're late." Blake replied, annoyed. "We were supposed to start ten minutes ago."

"Keep calm, Blake." P.I.X.A.L. said.

"I am calm."

"You do not sound calm."

He soon sighed. "I'm sorry. How many times has it been for our father to be kidnapped by delusional groups?"

"Deal with the number later." Lloyd said.

"Guys, everybody!" Hayden called out as everyone saw he was by his desk, holding up a package containing a Green Ninja costume. "This is still..." He briefly chuckles as Jay, Gewuji and some officers silently laugh. "Every time, it makes me laugh. It gets funnier every time, huh? Good." He turns to the top drawer of his desk. "Great." He opens it to reveal many more packaged ninja costumes before putting his recent one on top and closes it.

"You know they're only messing with you 'cause they can tell they want you to be a Ninja instead, right?" Nya asked, coming up to him, unamused at the antics.

"Yeah, well, let 'em keep doing it, 'cause most orphans would like to wear these for Day of the Departed next year. Been like this since my promotion. One size fits all, my ass." (A/N: I based that off a moment from Hawaii Five-0, because I'm still wondering if I should have Hayden become a Ninja)

"Let's begin the briefing." Lloyd called out as Nya came back to the others with Hayden and some of the officers coming over, having decided to hear them as well.

"Less than 18 hours ago, three men in masks and kimonos broke into my father's apartment and made off with him." Blake said. "I tried to stop them, but was only able to tear off the sleeve of one of the assailants. P.I.X.A.L., Cirrus and I later attempted to pursue them when they used hang-gliders, but the ones we chased when they split up were decoys and the one Cirrus was chasing was empty for some reason."

"Was there anything on the sleeve?" Nya asked.

"Yeah, as a matter of fact, there is." Cirrus replied as Blake gets out a BorgPad and slides through a few photos of the crime scene, until he got to the sleeve and showed them.

"This is the sleeve I was able to tear off the guy, DNA inside it matches this guy." He said as he swiped the BorgPad's screen to a man's mugshot. He had short black hair, green eyes and a scar on his right cheek. "Steve Winter, repeat offender, currently a fugitive for missing meetings with his parole officer. Anyway, the symbol on the sleeve was a little surprising." He said while he slides the image to another, showing a symbol. "I'm sure you recognise some of their posters around town and people believe it to be an act." It resembled fireworks exploding, followed by an explosion underneath with the letters 'B, O, T, N, W' underneath it as Nate puts up a poster with the same symbol on it as well as a sentence underneath it.

"'The Builders of the New World'." Zane replied, reading the sentence on the poster.

"They only started a few weeks ago, after we stopped Vangelis." Geoff said.

"And they are suspected in kidnapping many politicians, including the mayor."

"Not just politicians, Zane." Blake said as he slides across the BorgPad to show a video. "Apparently, other important people too." He taps on it, starting the video. "Like actors, singers, award winners and reporters."

It shows Gayle Gossip on it, in the park, with Zane's statue behind her. "As the city now prepares itself for New Year's, politics, award winners and famous actors are mysteriously disappearing, with the mayor being the latest when she was a no show at the 'Grant-a-Wish' Foundation charity party just last night." Gayle said on the video before Blake tapped the BorgPad to pause the video.

"I remember that." Jay said. "Nya and I were there that night, I thought she stood everyone up."

"Yeah, we were there as well." Geoff replied. "Gewuji, Cole and I had a charity single we wanted to perform. Never got the chance to."

"That's not all." Blake said before pressing the BorgPad again to continue playing the video.

"Authorities are refusing to comment on these mysterious abductions and are the only saying that all of the assailants weren't working alone." Gayle said on the video as a man with a white mask and white kimono slowly came up behind her. "Some claim that this group calling themselves, 'Builders of the New World' are involved somehow."

"Hey, Gayle, there's someone coming up behind you." Vinny's voice was heard on the video.

"No talking, Vinny."

"I'm serious." Vinny's hand soon came on the image, pointing at the man. "Look behind you!"

"I said, no talk-" The man in the white kimono immediately kicks Vinny down, showing the image also moving down. "Vinny!" The video shows the man carrying Gayle over his shoulder as she hits him with her microphone. "Put me down at once!" An error image comes on the screen.

"The cameraman only suffered a couple of bruises and a fractured shoulder." Blake said as he puts the BorgPad away.

"Which means, anyone of importance is a target to these guys." Cole replied.

"Yeah."

"Our parents were great blacksmiths, they could be targets." Kai said.

"My parents' scrapyard just won an award for the 'Most Reliable Resources' award last week." Jay said as they look at him curiously. "What? It's a real thing!"

"What if my dad and his band are also targets?" Cole asked. "The Royal Blacksmiths are one of the best bands in Ninjago."

"There's also Maggie's father, who is Ninjago's best doctor." Geoff replied.

They all soon look at Lloyd, worryingly. "And me." He said. "The Green Ninja, saviour of Ninjago."

"Grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master." Gewuji replied.

"And son of Lord Oni Garmadon." Kai said.

"Let's hope he's also not a target." Lloyd replied. "I hate to think what they would do."

"There's also this person who may be a potential target." Navis replied as he and some other officers came up to him before Blake hands him the BorgPad and he swipes through a few photos before showing it to them, revealing a mugshot of a young woman with brown eyes and black hair leading down to her chin.

"That's Irina McVurti." Lloyd said, surprised.

"Uh, who is she?" Gewuji asked, confused.

"Irina Tuctu McVurti." Zane said, pronouncing her full name. "Head of Delinquents Reformed."

"Yes." Navis replied. "She did time in Kryptarium herself for vandalism and assault. Now she runs the support group that keeps kids off the street from doing bad things like she once did. She's about to receive an award from Acting Mayor Hergocar for her services. She'll need someone to keep a look out for her during the ceremony."

"Zane, Geoff, Gewuji, Blake, P.I.X.A.L. and I can do it." Lloyd said. "The others can watch out for their parents."

Geoff turns to Nya. "Nya, since Maggie has retired, can you watch Dr. Hall?" He asked.

"Of course." She replied. "After all, Maggie is family, even if she's no longer a Ninja."

"Cirrus will accompany you too." Blake said as Cirrus nods. "Misako can look after Caelus."

"I'll have some men posted around every corner to check on any suspicious activities." Navis said.

"No need, Commish. It'll just scare them off."

Pretty soon, a middle aged man with blonde hair and blue eyes came up to them. He had a standard police uniform on, but also had a brown tie on. "No outsiders allowed without notice." He said.

"What do you mean?" Jay asked.

"This is a police station, not a ninja headquarters. So I suggest you all leave immediately before I have you all arrested for trespassing." They all look at him, in confusion. "NOW!"

"Sorry, guys, you'll have to obey his orders." Navis said. "We'll talk later."

"You'll do no such thing, Navis."

"Why you-!"

Lloyd soon came between them. "Hey, it's okay, Commissioner, we'll go." He cuts them off as the other Ninja start removing their evidence off the board with Hayden and some of the officers' help.

"Very reasonable, greenie." The officer sarcastically said, only for Lloyd to give him the bird as they all left.

Out in the hallway, the Ninja, P.I.X.A.L. and Cirrus are handed their evidence of the Builders of the New World abductions before the officers head back into the main precinct. "Sorry about him." Hayden said while briefly looking at the door.

"Who does that asshole think he is?" Kai asked as they start heading for the front of the building. "Denying us use of police resources."

"Browning Kapelle. He's the new Assistant Commissioner. Most of us actually call him 'The Dung'."

"Why?" Cole asked.

"His penchant for wearing pathetic lumps of turds he calls ties. But mainly, his full name. Want to know? I bet you'll get a laugh out of it." They all stop and nod, a little curious. "Browning Sam Sly Kapelle."

This got everyone, except Zane, to laugh. "I don't get it." He said.

"It's as if you're saying, 'Brown and sounds like a bell.'" Jay replied.

"Oh." At that point, they stop laughing and try to control it.

"So, why does he hate us?" Lloyd asked, hoping to get back on topic.

"I don't know why he hates you guys either." Hayden replied. "He even ordered everyone to remove the newspaper articles about you all. But, Commish keeps copies in his office. Been acting like that ever since he was transferred here from Stiix. When he was recommended a counsellor, he claimed that he was fine and that it will pass with time."

"Well, by the time he becomes Commissioner, we're done for." Blake said.

"Hey, whatever the result, you still have the NCPD at your disposal. Now, we all got a job to do. Good luck." Hayden soon went back inside.

"Well, you be careful as well, Lloyd." Cole said to him.

"I know." He replied.

I had a few name ideas beforehand, but one didn't match his original surname 'Bell', one was stolen by the show for Prime Empire and then I thought about the joke about animal droppings, the colour brown and a bell)
