This episode had a lot of good points and very few bad points in my opinion. Overall pretty solid episode.

Plot: Kai and Zane are looking for a way back to the city when they run into the Geckles collecting some moss. The Geckles think they are skeletons so they take them to their chancellor. To prove they aren't skeletons, they invoke a trial by mino. When they find a way to calm the mino down, they make Kai the new chancellor of the Geckle tribe. Zane sees Gleck wearing the necklace Cole described and wonders if they know something about the Skull Sorcerer. As the new Chancellor, Kai gets them to tell him and Zane the story of the Skull Sorcerer and how three adventures went to release the skull. Kai also tries to get them to join forces with the Munce, but the Geckles aren't too keen on that idea.

Things I enjoyed:

- The Geckle song was adorable

- I love everything about Zane in this episode! Making friends with a mino, reminding Kai he's not a human, throwing a rock at Kai. He's perfect! 😂

- I liked the animated cave drawings in the story cave scene.

- Kai gets tortured in this episode and I'm sorry but his reactions are hilarious! 😂

- Vincent Tong (AKA Kai's VA) did some nice voice work during the throw up scene. That must have been really hard to do.

- Gleck just might be my favorite new character introduced this season. (Next to Lilly of course)

- Zane isn't the one who got hurt this time. Yay!

Things I didn't like:

- If Zane is the one who beat the mino, why did they make Kai the new chief?

- The whole "we're not skeletons" discussion before the trial was kinda stupid, but they kept it short.

That's it, that's all I see wrong with it.

Final Score: 9/10

It's safe to say this is one of the best episodes I've seen so far. Hopefully there's a lot more great episodes to come. (And there are) see ya tomorrow! 🙂
