Kai's p.o.v

Opening my eyes, I stretch out, waking my three mates. Cole nuzzles me, Lloyd kisses my neck and Zane my lips. I purr as they show love. Cole suddenly looks at me as I feel dizzy.

"You okay, love." He asks. I feel sick and push past. Going to the bathroom, I sink before the toilet and throw my guts up. Lloyd gently rubs my back as I continue. After another five minutes of dry heaving, I move back.

Cole takes a rag, wripping my face and placing another in my neck. He crouches beside me, picking me up with ease and lays me back on the bed. "We have to go train, you stay here and rest, okay." Zane says "I'll bring something by afterwards, okay." I nod, rolling over and curling up. They leave and I fall asleep.

Lloyd's p.o.v

Coming onto the deck, dad and uncle look behind. "Kai's not feeling good. He just threw up for five minutes straight." I explain. Dad nods, uncle begins the lesson.

Afterwards, Zane goes to the kitchen, I go and check on Kai. Hearing retching, I open the door to find the bathroom door ajar. Kai is throwing up hard. Going in, he looks at me before throwing up acid.

Running his back, Cole opens the door. I look at our fourth, he's eyes hold the same expression. What's wrong with our mate.

For three weeks, this continues. Kai only holding food down for an hour at most. Zane is combing Kai's hair as he throws up in the toilet for the umpteenth time.

Kai leans on Zane, he's pale, eye is dead. Zane picks Kai up, Cole and me following. We come to the hospital, the doctors take Kai back while we sit in the waiting room.

Hours later, doctor Miles comes in. "You three his mate's." He asks. We stand and follow Miles to the room. Outside, Miles looks at us. "I'll leave y'all, this is a private matter." With that, Miles leaves.

I open the door, we wall in. Kai is curled on the bed, two I.V needles are in his elbow and back of hand. Kai picks his head up, he looks a little bit better. Zane goes over, Kai begins purring. I comb his hair as his voice enters our minds.

'Hey, loves.' His voice is weak and muffled but stronger than what it was. Cole kisses Kai's cheek, Zane his lips. Zane was the first to become Kai's mate, so, as he's said before, Zane's the alpha mate of Kai.

'I have some news. Good news.' Kai says. We all look at hem, Kai smiles big and bright. He rests a hand over his belly and it clicks in us all. Me and Cole look at Zane, knowing damn well he's the father this time around. Zane kisses Kai as a purr admits from us.

The doctors keep Kai for a week to get fluids and a strict diet of foods is given to Zane. Bringing Kai home, he wishes to tell the gang. Kai is eatting when he taps Zane's hand. "Nya, Jay, Wu and Garmadon, we have some news." Dad takes a sip of his drink.

"Can I guess." He says. Zane gives a nod. "Kai is a carrior. He's pregnant." I choke on my rice, Cole and Zane pat my back. "How." Cole asks after I get my breath back.

"Kai's part Syranix. Every few hundred years, a male is born. A carrior, a male that's able to have kids. And, given he's the son of Firstborne, that adds to it." I look at dad.

Wu leans back, lacing his hands together. "And, given how protective Zane has been the past week, I'm assuming he's the father this go around." Uncle said.

"But, is this gonna effect..." I slam my hands on the table, surging up and Kai jumps. "Its as much as mine and Cole's as its Zane's. We are Kai's mates and we'll father the child alongside Zane." I growl through clenched teeth.

Cole stands, leaving. Kai gets up, Zane and me follows. Cole as curled around Kai, Kai mutters sweet nothings at hem through the link. Zane curls around Kai at his back, I on Cole's side. Our tails curl around each other.

I growl, I smell something. Zane hisses, a guy is above us. I send a blast, he counters. Chanting, a vortex opens and we're sucked in.

Opening my eyes, I see trees and grass. Kai has my head in his lap, Zane holding Cole up. We look around but find nothing. In the distance, I see Darklys school for bad boys.

An engine sounds, we dive out the way as the tank drives by. I got a good look at the drivers, it was the Bizarro ninja. I look at the three, Zane shakes his head.

We head out and find a cave for now. Kai lays on a bedding of grass, leaves and straw, Zane curls around Kai. I sit watch while Cole goes and hunts for food. He comes back, Zane begins cooking the deer.
