Hellooooooo and welcome to a new oneshot!

Just wanted to start off by saying that for @thelightninjasis's one shot contest, I created a special oneshot on my profile named - Time Fracture. A lot of Jaya is in it, and if you do go read it, I hope you enjoy.

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy this one!

Jay loved the attention on him, that was a fact. He knew it sometimes made Nya jealous when people came to Jay, asking to hang out with him, or get a photo. He knew it also made Nya sad when he got people coming up to him, due to her not getting the same amount.

The reaction of her was always the same. Feel a bit sad, see them getting closer to Jay, and start going over and giving them the death stare she had. Her signature symbol of "Back off, he's mine" and also hides her insecurity of just wanting to be loved by others. Still, she would support Jay and his fans, unless they try to get close to him. That is only reserved for her.

Jay knew of her jealousy a lot, and kept telling her that there would be nobody else for him than her. He knows she believes it, but her mind still doubts sometimes, refusing to take it at face value sometimes. He, like her, hoped that people would change their minds about Nya, and not just see her as a "Girl in a boys club." He wanted to shout out to the world to appreciate Nya, and to make her feel as special as the fans have made the others.

Yes, he knew of her jealousy a lot when it came to other girls talking to him. He didn't know that he had the same issue with her.

It was a summer day, and the Ninja had been taking part in a comic-con. Once- called JayCon, where the league of Jay set up in the real world, Jay decided after the first year, to convert it into a sort of comic-con which celebrates the last ten years that the Ninja have been protecting Ninjago. The mayor elected to make it a public holiday, which the ninja tried to refuse; the mayor did it anyway. The ninja eventually came to terms that the city loves them, and let them do their own thing.

The ninja themselves, decided that they should dress up in some of their old gi's. Kai chose his original one, Lloyd chose his Golden Master outfit, Zane chose his normal FS attire, Cole decided his armour from fighting underground was his option, and Jay and Nya both went with their Destiny Robes.

Although they used them so littlely in the main timeline, they both knew the importance of wearing it, and what they accomplished together. They would have chosen their digi-outfits as a second resort, but those ones disappeared shortly after they left the game. However, the game forgot to give them their own clothes back, so they were all thankful they were on the bounty though. At least it left them their undergarments otherwise there would have actually been issues.

It was all going chill with them, hanging out, talking to people, and getting photos with them, when Jay decided to go get a drink for both him and Nya. He thought it would be fine just leaving her for three minutes while he got them some refreshing beverages. Nothing bad can happen within three minutes, right?

Wrong.

He returned to her, to see that two men had come up to speak to her. He had no idea who they were and what they were up to, but he wasn't going to let them hurt her. However, when he got closer, he stopped, and listened to them talking.

"Hey, we're huge fans, mind if we can get a photo with you?" That made Jay smile. She was finally getting, even just a small slice, what the other ninja had been getting for years. It didn't take a mind reader to know that she was extremely happy on the inside for finally getting something like this. So, like the good boyfriend he was, he let them be for a minute, and let Nya reveal in the glory.

"Sure! I'd love to!" She said, trying to hide her enthusiasm for it. Jay watched on as one of them pulled out their phone, and gave it to the other, while they took a photo. Nya looked to be having a great time with it. However, when the other one went to get his photo taken, Jay watched carefully as one of his hands snaked down her back, and grabbed her....

OH HE DID NOT JUST GO THERE!!

There was only so much 'friendliness' that Jay could endure from the two before he was snapping. And he did. Hard.

Jay, seeing Lloyd, and asking him to hold the drinks for him, stormed up to the two people, and got between them and Nya.

"Jay? What are you-" she started before Jay cut her off.

"Not now." Is all he said before turning to the people.

"And what do you think you're doing?!!?!?" he said. The two just laughed.

"Chill, man. We were just getting photos with her." That just riled him up more.

"Chill?? CHILL?!?!? No. I will not chill, when I see two people, who I don't know, touch my girlfriend inappropriately." He drilled into them with his voice laid with so much venom, that they could name an anti-hero after it.

"Jay, stop.." Nya tried to silently plead with him, but he ignored her.

"A person, who has not had the best experiences in life with situations like this. So I suggest you back off! Back off so far away that I will never see you again. Otherwise..." He started charging up his lightning, making visible sparks land next to both of them. They started fearing for their lives.

"I will turn you both into my own personal batteries." That did it for the two people, as they scampered away from the two, leaving Jay victorious.

However, he felt like it wasn't enough. Nobody should touch Nya like that and get away like that. Nobody should be that friendly towards Nya. It should only be me like that with Nya. Now, until the end of tim-

"Jay!" Nya's voice woke Jay to the reality around him, with him becoming a lightning rod, and the others around him backing away, fearing they would get hurt. Jay looked at Nya, who pulled him into a hug, keeping him calm. A few minutes passed, and the lightning that was dancing around them, calmed, and disappeared. Jay pulled out of the hug, and looked at the rest of the room.

"Sorry about that everyone!" He chuckled nervously. The others looked at him for a few seconds, before going back to what they were doing previously. However, a poke to his nose got his attention back on his girlfriend.

"What was that about?" She asked suspiciously. Jay decided even lying in this situation would only make it worse for himself.

"I was defending you." He stated simply. Nya just raised an eyebrow.

"But you know I can defend myself..... Unless...." her eyes showed a twinkle of mischief and a grin wider than he had ever seen had emerged.

"Unless you were jealous?" She teased him. He looked away, fake scoffing.

"Me? Jealous? No way" he poorly defended himself. Nya saw straight through it, laughing and punching his shoulder.

"You're totally jealoussss....." she said in a sing-song voice, laughing. Jay tried to keep his composure, but knew it was worthless.

"Finee.." he mumbled. Nya laughed

"No, I want to hear you were jealous!" She joked. Jay rolled his eyes, before looking at her.

"Fine.. I was jealous..." he told her. Nya's smile increased. She laughed, leaning on him while snuggling into his chest.

"Now you know how I feel when people flirt with you." Nya said, smiling. Both for Jay stepping in, and also for showing her that she is not the only jealous one out of the two.

"Now, what do you say for a movie? I don't want to see them again." Jay asked her, hoping for a positive answer.

"I'd love to." She smiled.
