this is going to get confusing, so here we go. 
L/G/N is Lloyd's girlfriend's name
Z/G/N is Zane's girlfriend's name

On a day where L/G/N and Z/G/N could have been studying for finals that were slowly approaching, the ninja had requested that they go swimming in the lake with them. Well, they asked if Z/G/N wanted to go since when they extended the invitation to their girlfriends, they were all busy. But L/G/N was home mainly because she lived at the monastery and wasn't at Aunt Kelly's since it was a Wednesday afternoon. 

When Z/G/N arrived at the lake, the ninja were already in the water but L/G/N had been kind enough to wait for her before jumping in. "Hey Z/G/N!" she waved, a bright smile on her face. Z/G/N waved back and watched Lloyd sneak out of the water to drag her in. Cole shouted out a warning and something about too much physical activity, but Z/G/N didn't notice because Zane had embraced her in a hug, and he was dripping wet with lake water.

"Zane!" she whined, her coverup now wet. He smiled and pecked her on the cheek before taking the towel she had in her hands and walking over to where he set up his things. "I am glad you could come," Zane welcomed. She chuckled, "Yeah, well, I needed a stress reliever, so here I am!" 

While Zane and his girlfriend chatted on shore, Lloyd was racing his across the lake and to the dock. "Hey, L/G/N, you better be careful. Take it easy," Cole warned his sister, still fearful of the panic attack she had nearly a month ago. She still wasn't allowed to go on any runs and that was a problem since college volleyball started soon. So with a roll of her eyes, she splashed water in his face and turned towards her boyfriend for the race. "Ready?" she grinned.

"Always," he responded with a smirk, knowing he would beat her. 

"Alright, on the count of three," Jay counted down. "One-two-three. Go!" 

Lloyd and L/G/N started swimming faster than any of the ninja expected them to and Kai and Nya started cheering for L/G/N which made Lloyd roll his eyes but nonetheless continued to swim. "I bet you one kiss that L/G/N is going to win," Zane told his girlfriend and wrapped an arm around her waist. She smiled, "I'll take that bet."

Reaching the end of their markers of the race, L/G/N and Lloyd were neck and neck. But at the last second, L/G/N pulled ahead and beat her boyfriend by one second. Kai and Nya slapped each other high five's while Jay glared at Cole, knowing that he just lost some money.

Onshore, Zane turned to face Z/G/N and planted a kiss on her lips, letting the moment last for nearly three seconds. When he pulled away, he was grinning, "I told you she would win."
