Several days had passed since I burned my hand while baking with Zane, and I still had wrapping around it. It didn't hurt anymore, it was a surprise more than anything.

Zane had asked me to meet him at the park underneath a large willow tree. So I did. He never gave me a reason, however.

"Y/N!" Zane called out from behind me. I turned around and smiled, walking over to where Zane was sitting on a red and white checked sheet, his legs crossed in front of him. I crouched down and kissed Zane lightly before planting myself to his side. "Zane, what is all of this?"

"We never did have a chance to enjoy some cake the other day, so I thought I could surprise you. Are you surprised?"

I chuckled and nodded, letting Zane cut me a thin slice of chocolate cake, "Very, thank you."

We sat underneath that tree for hours, enjoying a cake and each other. It was definitely an afternoon to enjoy, and I think it was my new hobby. Since baking didn't go so well.
