When You Go Out- Kai
I brushed my H/C hair through and tossed the brush on my bed, picking up my phone in my hand. Not lifting my head, I opened my door and stepped out into the hall, walking down the stairs carefully. I smiled to myself as I read a new message from Kai, my cheeks warming up.
I opened the front door to the apartment building and lifted my head, meeting eyes with him. I smiled as he kissed me softly on the lips. Releasing he swung an arm over my shoulder and walked with me down the steps. "I've missed you, Y/N," he told me, looking into my E/C eyes. I chuckled, "It's been four days, Kai," I retorted, nudging his left arm.
"Any time away from you feels like eternity, babe," he responded. "Ooh," I smirked, "You definitely got some points there," I joked. "You think? I've been practicing," he grinned to himself. I laughed lightly and shook my head, placing a hand on his chest, "Don't ever admit that," I laughed.
"No?" he asked, I shook my head, "No."
"So, where do you want to go?" he questioned, moving his arm down to hold my hand. I shrugged, "Anywhere really, just not a haunted house," I said, jerking my head up with the stern order. Kai chuckled and spun me around in the green grass of the park, "Even school?" he sarcastically wondered.
"Hey! I said no haunted houses!" I whined, twirling around. "You're cute," he laughed, tilting his head back, I had no words so I just smiled. "How's the art coming along?" he asked, making conversation.
"Eh, it's aight, I got some new portraits coming up, with the school year a few months till end I need to start building up my porfolio," I answered.
"Just fill a big book with photos of you, they'll think it's the prettiest in all the land," he awwed. "Why don't make this a fairytail! Let me have my moment," I giggled.
"But in the fairytail you'll always be my princess, right?"
"Yes, the princess and the prince. Maybe I'm Tiana, not Belle," I thought aloud. "And why is that?" he asked.
I snickered, "Because you certainly look like a frog, minus the prince part at least!" I sang, laughing at myself. Kai's mouth dropped in surprise before he started to choke out bits of laughter.
"And to think you fell out of a building," he sighed, shaking his head. I chuckled and turned back to him, tightening my hand around his in comfort. "Come on, let's sit down," he said, plopping down on the grass at least four miles out from the city.
I looked around and sat cautiously, "And do what?" I asked. Kai shrugged and laid on his back, staring at the sky full of twinkling stars. I slightly smiled and looked up, admiring the sky. "You can't see this in the city," I spoke.
"Yeah, it's beautiful, a wonder really," he added. I continued looking above but Ki turned his head and stared at my eyes. I finally turned my head and laughed a bit, "Why aren't you looking at the stars?" I questioned.
"I've already seen them all, but the one's in your eyes are the prettiest out of all the galaxies," he swooned. I smiled wide, "You always know what to say."
"Well I am the fire ninja," he told me as it were obvious. I took my hand out of his and smacked his arm hard, he whined and I laughed. I searched his eyes for the stars he saw in mine and I saw them, a small spark, he is a prince, maybe a frog prince, but a prince.
