When You Get Sick
Kai
I rubbed my forehead, a massive headache not going away. I sighed and turned back to my boyfriend, "Are you alright?" he asked me, worry spreading on his face. I nodded, briefly closing my eyes. Kai walked over to me, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me to him. He pressed his lips to mine, moving slowly.
I released quickly, breathing heavily. "Y/N, are you sure you're alright?" Kai asked again, growing more worrisome. I grabbed his arm, my strength very minimal. Kai let me hold onto him, reaching for my elbow with his hand to keep me steady. "Y/N..." he trailed off, eyeing me.
I slowly closed my eyes, suddenly becoming extremely dizzy. My legs gave out from under me and I collapsed, hitting the hardwood floors. Kai dropped to his knees, watching my eyes roll to the back of my head. "Y/N!" he yelled, shaking my shoulders. "Kai..." I weakly whispered, "Y/N, let me help you! We need to get you to a hospital."
I shook my head with the amount of energy I had left, tears trickling down my face, "No-- please." I complained, "Y/N, I have to--" he defended, "No! I- I don't want to lose you too." I mumbled, my eyes shutting completely. I slipped into a dark state as Kai kept shaking my shoulders.
Third Person
"Y/N!" Kai yelled, loosening the top button on her shirt, giving her room to breathe. She doesn't want him to help because of what happened to her parents. But Kai will do whatever it takes to help his girlfriend.
He watched his girlfriend get taken into the ambulance, driving away from him. He had to explain to the others what happened to their happy, cheerful Y/N. But he didn't have an answer to that.
Jay
I pulled my knees to my chest as I slumped against the wall, holding my arms around my stomach in pain. Jay put a hand on my knee, his phone to his ear as he glanced at me in worry. He tossed the phone onto my bed, brushing a hand through my H/C hair. I dropped my head as tears streamed down my face. "Y/N, what's wrong?" he asked me.
"It hurts!" I cried out, shaking in pain. Jay wrapped an arm around me, pulling me close to him, "The ambulance is on it's way, okay? They're going to help you."
I took deep breathes as my parents sprinted into the room, the one time they are actually home, "Did you call an ambulance?" they asked Jay, he nodded. "Y/N, dear, remember you need to breathe. Just like last time, alright?" my dad asked me, I shook my head. "Dad--" I choked out.
"This has happened before?" Jay asked my parents, "Not since she was seven, she got incredibly sick." my mom explained.
The door remained open as paramedics made their way over to me, carefully lifting me up onto the gurney. A warm blanket was wrapped around me and I held my arms over my stomach, letting them wheel me down the hall and into the vehicle.
My dad jumped in with me, my mom and Jay following us to the hospital. Inside the vehicle my dad was asked tons of questions as I cried out in pain.
Cole
I breathed heavily, falling out of my turn. I walked over to the wall, leaning my hand on it. "You good?" Mr. B asked me, I shook my head. "I don't feel good," I replied, feeling dizzy.
"Son, get her to the couch." he directed. Cole came over and held my arm, slowly setting me down on the couch. "Lay down and relax, Y/N." Cole told me, feeling my forehead, "She has a fever, dad." he called out.
Cole wrapped a blanket over me, moving my head to the arm rest and stretching my legs out straight to the other end of the couch. I closed my eyes and started breathing heavily, "BF/N?" Cole asked, his phone to his ear.
"Y/N's sick... Come down... before?... Okay... I'll stay with her... Sure... Bye..." the call progressed. Cole set the phone down on the table and crouched down near my head, placing his hand on my forehead and holding it there, calming me down, "Relax, Y/N. Deep breathes." He directed, helping me keep cool. I closed my eyes once again and calmed myself, trying to fall asleep and maybe this would all blow over.
Zane
My mother is getting better, she's been home for about a week, and she's moving around now. Zane was over as my mother was at the grocery store. I started walking upstairs to Zane since he was sitting in my room. I made it to the last stair when I didn't feel well. I ran up, reaching the nearest bathroom. I reached the toilet and threw up.
Someone rushed inside, pulling my H/C hair back and tying it up into a ponytail. Zane rested his hand on my back, grabbing a paper towel and handing it to me after I was done. I stood up, shaking and wiped my mouth, throwing the paper towel into the trash can. "Come, let's get you to bed." Zane suggested, scooping me into his arms and walking across the hall into my bedroom. He pulled back the sheets and laid me down, resting the blanket on top of me.
"You're very pale, Y/N." he noted, rushing downstairs to grab a heat pack. He placed it onto my forehead and sat on the side of the bed next to me, "Rest now, Y/N." he advised, pulling a chair up to the bed and sitting in it as I closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep.
Lloyd
"You never miss the target, come on, focus." Cole directed, pointing at the red and white target in front of me. I glanced to it, seeing a blur of the two colors, I squinted my eyes, trying to make out the target as it was this morning.
I shook my head, trying to shake out the dizziness. "What's up?" Lloyd asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.
I took a deep breath and threw the ball up, smacking my hand against it. As soon as I did, the ball went straight to the ground and I dropped to my knees, trying to find the air to breathe. Cole rushed over, kneeling next to Lloyd. My boyfriend put a hand on my back, trying to calm me down.
"Breathe." he instructed, "Breathe, Y/N." he kept repeating. I shook my head and grew more stressed and timid, I couldn't breathe. "I- can't--," I choked out.
"Panic attack," Cole mumbled, running off towards the dorms. "Sensei!" he shouted. Lloyd pulled my legs out from under me and had me lay on my back, my head resting in his hands. I shut my eyes, the air not getting to my lungs.
Sensei finally rushed over, wondering what to do. The other ninja filed up at the doorway, worry spreading on their faces. Cole finally came back, the inhaler in his hands. He tossed it to Lloyd who pushed it into my mouth, pressing on the valve. But it didn't work. It made it worse, "It isn't working, Cole!" Sensei called out, "Then have to call the hospital!" he retorted, his fingers typing in numbers on the monastery phone.
I choked on the limited amount of air I was getting, tears running down my face. I covered my eyes with my hands, struggling to breathe. "She isn't getting any oxygen, right now!" Kai shouted as he knelt down beside Sensei.
The front doors opened and paramedics rushed in, lifting me off the ground and onto the gurney. Someone strapped a breathing mask onto me, circulating oxygen into my lungs. a blanket was strapped over me as I was lifted into the ambulance, my brother, friends and boyfriend worrying about me.
