L/G/N sat silently in the corner near the bed. She refused to look up, only staring at the carpet below her. She had not said a word in hours, her and Z/G/N only saying little things to make time pass every so often. It had been several days, maybe three or four, and neither girl had eaten or had anything to drink. Z/G/N's stomach growled and she looked down, pressing a hand over it and sighing. L/G/N looked up from her place on the floor and looked up at the girl on the bed who sat with her legs crossed and her eyes closed. She was meditating, something L/G/N had practiced religiously the past few days. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly to the other girl. She slowly nodded, "I'll be fine. What about you?"

L/G/N shrugged, thinking about what the person did to her a few days earlier. He had asserted his dominance over her and... it was too much to think about. "Do you think they are coming for us?"

Z/G/N smiled slightly, "Yes, I have faith in them."

L/G/N rested her head against the wall and closed her eyes, pulling her knees close to her and hugging them close. "You can tell me anything," Z/G/N softly said. L/G/N's remained closed. "You know that, right?"

The sister to the strongest ninja nodded, a single tear dropping down her cheek, "I know."

"What did he do?"

The girl felt incredibly weak. She sucked in a harsh breath and covered her face with her hand, trying to silence her cries. "He kissed me," she wept. "A-and he tried to touch me, but I did what Cole taught me an-and I tried to fight back," she continued, her breaths getting shorter and her heart began to beat heavily. "But he hit me over and over."

Z/G/N's heart dropped at the sight of her friend but before she could go to comfort her, they heard a door slam from down the hall and their heads perked up. Z/G/N stilled, "What's going on?" she asked in a harsh whisper. L/G/N shook her head and slowly stood up, grabbing the lamp from the nightstand and unplugging it. She gripped it tight and walked to the door, making sure it was locked before pushing Z/G/N into the closet and closing it behind them. L/G/N closed her eyes briefly in fear and pressed herself against the wall of the closet, Z/G/N trembling in fear next to her. "What do you think is happening out there? Is it the ninja?" she whispered. L/G/N met her eyes and shook her head, signaling her to be quiet. "I don't know, but I plan on swinging."

The two girls silenced and listened for what was going to happen next. The door to the room slammed open and the girls flinched, clearly petrified. They stayed as silent as possible and L/G/N's hands tightened around the lamp in her hand. There was a footstep right outside of the closet door, but then it stepped away and Z/G/N's body relaxed. However, the door suddenly whipped open and before she could think, L/G/N swung the lamp as hard as she could and hit the person who opened the door. They yelped and fell back and L/G/N jumped out with Z/G/N behind her. A person in black stood in front of the person on the floor rubbing their head and when L/G/N swung again, the person grabbed the handle of the lamp, "Hey, hey!" they shouted, their voice making L/G/N relax. Someone flicked the lights on and L/G/N recognized the black gui of her brother, making a smile appear on her face. She dropped the lamp and a tear fell from her eye, and she threw herself onto her brother, making him chuckle and wrap his arms around her back. "I got you, L/G/N," he whispered into her shoulder, holding her tight as she trembled in his arms. 

Z/G/N looked around the room and saw Zane stepping around the blue ninja who groaned on the floor and he hugged his girlfriend close, whispering words of encouragement in her hair. Kai and Lloyd helped Jay to his feet and L/G/N let out a sob into her brother's shoulders, him kissing her lightly on the forehead and swaying her back and forth. "Are you guys okay?" Kai asked, glancing at the two girls and making sure they weren't injured in any way. L/G/N had a bruise on her shin and a scrape on her arm, but other than mental trauma which she wanted to keep to herself, she was okay. And Z/G/N was fine, other than the nightmares that would follow. 

Z/G/N nodded, but L/G/N was crying into Cole's shoulder and did not even hear the question. "Hey, you're okay. We got you," Lloyd told his girlfriend, desperate to comfort her in times of need. He placed a soft hand on her shoulder to which she flinched away from. "Did he hurt you, sis?" Cole asked after noticing the reaction. 

She cried out at the question, gripping Cole's gui as if her life depended on it. She clenched the material between her fingers and he quietly ssh'd her. Lloyd looked at Jay and Kai and they shrugged in confusion, but it wasn't until Z/G/N looked down and sniffled that they all grew defensive and determined. They didn't know what to think. They couldn't imagine what the girls were going through. They were just teenagers in high school, trying to finish the year off till they could become their own people. They were welcomed into the world of ninja's very quickly and did not truly know what they were getting into. Cole sighed and asked again, "L/G/N," he said while holding her in front of him and staring into her tear-filled and red eyes. She whimpered, her lip quivering at the sight of her brother. "Did he hurt you?"

She stared at him a moment, trying to answer honestly without crying the whole way through. But that was an impossible task. Once she began to nod, she let out another wail, and Cole pulled her back into him while rubbing her back. He knew she was hurting. She was traumatized. It was his job to protect his sister. He had gone his life without her and now that she was back he would do anything to keep her safe, and then this happened. He needed her to be okay. But she was hurt. And when one Brookstone hurts, they all hurt.

And at that moment, they all knew what she meant.
