When He's Proud of You

Kai

I yawned, sticking the key into the keyhole on the complex mail box. I pulled the small door open, grabbing the few envelopes inside. I slammed the door shut and locked back up the box, walking up the stairs.

I reached my door and pushed it open, shutting it quietly behind me and tossing the mail on my bed. School, ugh. I got detention today and now it's six, way to late to just be getting home.

"Why are you always so tired?" someone asked. I jerked up, wondering who the hell was in my room. I sighed in relief and walked over to him, laying my head on his chest. Kai wrapped his arms around me as I slumped into his grasp.

His chuckle brought me a small smile and I stood up straight, sitting on my bed and digging through the mail. Landlow News, Retirement Home and Assisted Living, and Jago College of the Arts.

I huffed and patted my bed, letting Kai sit down next to me. I read the mail but didn't really pay attention to it. Kai picked it up and shuffled through it, pulling out an envelope and tearing it open.

I softly closed my eyes, yawning once again. Kai nudged my shoulder, causing me to look at the letter in his lap, "accepted." My eyes widened, realizing it was the response to the college application Kai sent in.

I smiled and snatched the letter, reading it more carefully. "You're in, Y/N!" he cheered.

I laughed and nodded, "I'm in!"

Kai spun my face to him, pressing his lips against mine as I melted in his arms.

Jay

"Hey Y/N." someone said, causing me to turn around in my stool. My face lit up and I waved him over, holding a small white envelope in my hands. Jay pulled up a seat and scooted next to me, eyeing the envelope in my hands. "What's that?" he asked, motioning to the letter.

I smiled, "I got accepted into Nin Institution of Technology!" I squealed, handing him the letter, "It's my dream school!" I added, leaning on my elbows.

"Y/N, that's fantastic! Uh- where is Nin, exactly?" he asked, raising his eyebrows, I shrugged, "Some six hours away, outside of Ninjago." I sighed, looking down at my hands. "And BF/N will be there too, my roommate!"

Jay took my hands from my lap and looked into my eyes, "Anywhere is close when I am with you, Y/N. Congratulations."

Cole

I pushed open the door to BF/N's house, tossing my bag on the floor. I glanced up, seeing all the lights were turned off. Raising my eyebrows, I walked a few steps forward to reach the light switch in the living room, "BF/N?" I called out, wondering where she was.

No answer. Shrugging, I reached the living room, trying to find the light switch. All of a sudden the lights flashed on and two loud voices cheered, "Suprise!"

I jumped back, seeing Cole and BF/N in front of me. I let out a soft chuckle and huged my boyfriend, then my best friend, "Hey! What about bros before hoes? Sisters before misters?" she laughed, nudging my shoulder, Cole glared at her for calling him a hoe but I thought he looked adorable so I snuggled into his arms. "Why the surprise?" I asked.

"I kind-sorta maybe looked into your mail and you got accepted into the most prestigious dance school ever! And I might have gotten in too for my photography! So we're going to be roomies!" BF/N squealed. My eyes lit up and I knew that with only three four months of school left, I should begin looking at colleges, but how? It must have been the scouts at all my competitions.

"What?!" I yelled, excitement in my voice, "Mhm, babe. You're going to be a Jago dancer soon. I'm so proud of you! My dad is going to be thrilled!" Cole cheered, spinning me around in his arms. I laughed and pecked his lips, "Save the PDA, dude. Remember what I said, bros before--"

Zane

I sighed and closed the book, setting it beside me on the table. I stood up, seeing my mother was sleeping in her hospital bed. She isn't getting better, and I nor the doctor's cannot determine what's wrong with her. But at least I have some good news, though I don't know if I should be ready to leave so soon.

I walked out of the room, shutting the door behind me. As I stepped into the hall, Zane stood in front of me, a smile on his face. I gave him a soft smile and relaxed into his arms, "Bunag City University, hm?" he asked me. I looked up and smiled, a nod too. "Yeah, it's good, right? I mean, with my mother here--"

"Whatever you choose to do, know that I and your mother support your decision. She would want you to carry out your education. Besides, BF/N is your roommate."

I nodded, "You're right, thanks."

Lloyd

I turned over in my bed, not ready to wake up yet. I heard two loud knocks on the door so I pulled my blanket over my head, "Y/N! Wake up!" Cole shouted from the hallway. "Go away!" I yelled.

The door flew open and my blanket was thrown off of me, Cole's hands wrapped around my ankles as he tugged me off the bed, I whined and grabbed my blanket, pulling it to the ground with me as Cole dragged me out of my room.

"Y/N!" Cole pouted, I yawned and rested my head on the folded blanket so it wouldn't rub against the hard wood floor. "Why are so so lazy?" he questioned, I shrugged.

Finally, we reached the kitchen where Cole lifted me up next to Lloyd on the bench, I dropped my head onto the table and closed my eyes, exhaustion filling my head. "Well, I guess you don't want to hear about the letter that came in from Hines." Lloyd said, rubbing my back.

"What does it say?" I mumbled, Lloyd chuckled, "It says that you got a scholarship for volleyball to Bunag City University, and that you're roommate is BF/N." he told me. I lifted my head and smiled, "Really?" I asked.

Jay shook his head, "No, it said that you were the worst player that tried out and that you've been accepted into clown college instead." he smirked. I rolled my eyes and picked up a spoon from in front of me, chucking it at the blue ninja, "Asshole." I mumbled.
