Another update! 44 parts down, another 157 to go! Hope you all enjoy!

"Y/n... Y/n..." Your eyes slowly opened to the sound of someone familar calling out to you. The darkness of sleep had cleared out to show your surroundings of the dark car. You eventually realized that a giant and warm hand was placed on your shoulder, and was shaking you lightly. You let out a grunt, notifying whoever wanted you to know that you were awake. "Y/n... We're home..."  the voice stated, as if that was the one phrase that would allow you to remember who exactly was speaking to you. Your foggy mind thought about it, your head feeling stuffy with tiredness.

After a few moments, enough exaustion had cleared away to alert you that this person who was ever so begging you to wake up was Cole. Your husband. In fact you were both officially parents, and your ride from the hospital is officially over. Now that you think about it, your arms were stiff from holding Josh in your arms, who from what you could see in the darkness of the car, the bundle of joy was soundly asleep in your arms.

"Come on love," Cole urged on, tugging gently on your stiff arm. "Don't you want to get inside and sleep in that nice warm and cozy bed of ours? I know you must be exaushted from the hospital." You let out a groan, letting your head hang once more, your eyelids drooping back into sleep. "M'sorry.... Just.... So tired...."

Cole's breathing rate changed, as he let out a chuckle, placing his chin on your shoulder. "Okay then, then how about this? I'll take Josh inside, and you can sleep in the car tonight. Sound good?" Your desire for sleep was starting to overwhelm you, s not even clear words escaped your lips. Cole laughed again, as he pecked your cheek goodnight, gently taking your son out of your arms. As soon as Cole left the car, and rolled all of the windows down for fresh air, you felt your whole body sigh in relief, knowing you could finally rest after all of this pain and labor.

As you heard Cole's footsteps fade away up to your house, your husband called out one more thing, one that made you perk up, and regained every last bit of energy:

"Oh and y/n? I guess it looks like I'll be the only one having cake tonight."

"Cake?"
