Alright welcome back! So this is a request by Levi-Sempi who originally requested this in the boyfriend scenarios, but I no longer had any room for chapters.  No more requests are being taken. For any ninjago scenario book. EVER. Anywhoozles, on with the story!

"Just yell if you need anything," Kai murmured as he planted a kiss on your cheek, stroking Tyler's head afterwards. "You know, if I do need anything I can just get it myself-" Kai cut you off, placing his finger over your lips. "No, you'll stay put. You'll be taking care of our baby, and we both expect so much from you."

"We? Since when do you decide Tyler's thoughts?" As if he knew his parents were arguing, Tyler let out a huff in contempt. Kai on the other hand, glared down at his son. "I was talking to the kid. He'll take care of you, I know he will. Right Tyler?" Your son looked up at you with pure and innocent brown eyes, melting your heart. You rolled your eyes, looking back up at Kai, who gave you the "everything will be okay," look, raising his eyebrows in confidence. After pecking you on the head, Kai rose to his feet, and walked out the door, before glancing back and giving you and Tyler a thumbs up, leaving you two alone in the complete silence. 

Seeing you and the boys had just come home only a few hours prior, meant you really didnt have that much baby supplies (and that really should be a priority on your list but eh recoverys important.), but at least you had enough to get you by like formula and diapers. And even if the crib you ordered a week prior to the birth came in on time like it was supposed to, Tyler seemed to be happy sleeping in one of his parents' arms, which also meant you and Kai taking turns holding the baby, and giving you an extra shift of  work to do. I mean it wasn't a burden holding Tyler, you enjoyed it quite much actually, it was just there were other interests that you wish you could keep doing like the karate classes you took a year or so before you met Kai, but kinda dropped off in the process of dating, and eventually, marriage and Tyler. Housework was a tedious chore in the beginning, but with being pregnant and stuff, Kai seemed to not mind taking care of those kind of things while you took care of the child.

Hours had passed, and sure enough, the sun had finished its journey for the day, and sank somewhere in another room of the house, creating a quite darkness of the room you were currently in. Of course you spent most of the day napping and taking care of the baby whilst not getting up, but it seemed like Kai had disappeared from the house long ago, and it was just you two alone in a recliner, with the dim illumination of TV playing somewhere in a corner to create sound in the room. Tyler knew it was suspicious that his father was gone too, and he let out a soft whimper as top question you if you knew where he went. "I dunno either, Tyler," you shrugged a little and smiled at your son, assuring him that you knew his father was in no harm. "Honey???" you called out into the rest of the house, not moving an inch, just as Kai had demanded of you. However, with waiting several moments for answer, there was none, leading you in the dim silence of you and Tyler. After a few more tries of calling for him, you heard the door swing open, and a shuffle of footsteps entered the room. Kai's spiky head appeared, his eyes seemed tired, but sparking a light of energy. 

"You called?" he asked, pushing several huge boxes into the room, filled with baby supplies....

One of them happened to be the crib for Tyler, so you could give your arms a rest of holding Tyler for several hours while Kai had disappeared into the abyss. 

"You forgot about us, didn't you?"

"Nooooooo....."

"....."

"Okay, maybe a little. But I didn't in the end, see? That's why I have so many boxes here! And the crib, its...."

You closed your eyes, chuckling as you drifted off into a deep sleep you had been anticipating for the entire day. 

Alright, the beginning of a new segment! Im trying to think of ideas for the others for this segment, but I think I have them down for the most part. Hope you all enjoy, and see you next time!
