Lloyd's p.o.v.

I was on the way to visit Kai in the hospital when a distress call goes out. I head out, a shock of a life time is there. I'm staring at Bizarro Kai is standing infront of ninja Jay. Bizarro Cole is before ninja Zane. "The fuck is going on here." Bizarro Jay says. I touch my forehead, motioning them to follow. My phone goes off, Cole. "What's up." 'Kai had the baby.' I take off running, fear in the pit of my stomach. I hope his hips stayed together. The four ninja and four Bizarro follow as I run into the hospital. Coming to the mortality wing, Danny is pacing the hall, a bundle in his arms. Oh dear god no. "Jay...he had to take.....kai back. His hips..." Danny is about to fall. I go over, gently guilding hem to a chair. He sits down heavy, the little one cooing. I tickle it's chin. "A little girl, Jay rushed Kai back, his hips shattered like Jay feared they would." Danny says. "The hell is going on here." Bizarro Zane says, I forgot they were here.

"Long story short, sixteen years old, our Kai was accused for the murder of a mother and her baby. He was sentenced to serve fifteen years for it, but got out in ten cause of this guy. He and Danny dated years before Danny disappeared, he had been sent to jail for self defense. Danny got out in eight of Kai's fifteen year sentence, on the promise he'd visit twice if three times a week. When year ten hit, Danny paided Kai's bail." I begin. "Cute." Bizarro Jay says, leaning on the wall. "The day after he and Kai, you know, Danny asked Kai to marry hem. Kai accepted, they eloped two weeks later. Together, they are leader and second-in-command of the Assassin's, they hunt down criminals, elemental masters or not. Five years past sence he got and we went to get Kai from Kriptarum. Noble told us what Danny did and we left. We later met Kai at Chens tournament of elements, and he didn't go easy on us." Cole continued. "How so" Bizarro Kai asks. "He taught us lessens of how he felt to each of us. Cole was first caused he handcuffed Kai that day in the park. Cole's lesson was helplessness. Jay was second and his was loneliness. Mine was heartbreak. Nya's betrayal. And Lloyd's was guilt." Zane said. "Mind you, Kai never showed he was part of the Assassin's, he played the part of a housewife, and quite well. He played it so well, we never suspected he was the second-in-command. He did show us some skills but played it off like being the husband of the Assassin's commander, Danny showed Kai how to fight and defend himself. The only ones who knew Kai's true identity was Neuro, Griffin, Tox, Shade, Paleman and Cole after Cole's lesson. Kai needed an inside man and Cole agreed." Nya stated. Cole holds up his wrist, the Assassin's bracelet and tattoo on his arm.

"Two months after Chen was defeated is when we finally learned who Kai truly was, he helped us finding Paradox. But, Paradox had a plan long in motion. He sent Kai to a parallel universe where his counterpart was going through the same thing he did. And Kai was brutal with the lessons. He stopped after he learned my counterpart put the vengestone collar they both ware, but the other Kai's was so embedded, Kai had two days to live. He gave my counterpart a brutal wake up call. And now, they protect Kai. Coming back home, it was found out Kai was pregnant again. Kai is what is known as a reproducing male. He has a slit under his cock that allows hem to get pregnant and she's their third. Three months ago, phyco Kai, the one that accused hem, captured Kai and broke hem, literally. He took a sledge hammer to Kai's hips, knees, shins, shoulder and hand. He even bashed Kai upside his head and burned Kai's eye. Just now, Kai gave birth the the little cutie and his hips shattered again. So now, it's a waiting game." I say. Ninja Jay leans on Bizarro Kai as ninja Zane does the same with Bizarro Cole.

Zane leans against the wall beside Bizarro Jay and Zane, fast footsteps have us looking at uncle and dad. The others are shocked. "We heard about Kai, how is he." Wu said as they join us. "He's in Jay's hands." Is all Danny said. Dad nods, he looks the eight over. The Bizarro ninja go on the defence, protecting the two ninja. "Are Jay and Zane dating you two." Cole asked. "I proposed to sparky here three months." Bizarro Kai said. "Me and bun here married five months ago." Bizarro Cole said, nuzzling Zane. That's when I see the wedding bands.

Footsteps sound, shaking as well as Jay walks up. He holds a bottle, shaking it and gives it to Danny. "Kai's got some heavy drugs in hem, I don't want her nursing from hem. Infection is heavy in his shins. He may have to resign from the Assassin's second-in-command." Jay said, Danny nods. "He's been thinking about stepping down lately, he's been training Cole to take the spot, if it's alright, Lloyd, Wu, Garmadon." Danny says. I look at dad and uncle, they nod. "I accept it as well. Cole's a great choice." I say. Danny nods, Cole tipping his head. "Next week,  Cole, you'll gain the full Assassin's mark." Danny said. Cole salutes "Yes sir, commander." Cole jabs playfully. We all chuckle at that. Two hours pass before we can see Kai.

Kai's p.o.v (Pyro)

My hips and legs are on fire, Jay said I had to give up being second-in-command of the Assassin's. I had already decided to do that, I want to spend time with my babies. I hated it when I would be away for weeks, sometimes months on end without so much as a phone call. I look at my phone, the pictures Danny would send me of the twins growing up. I've missed four years of their lives, I'm not missing any of Erika's. I named Erika before I pasted out, I hope Danny loves the name. The door of my room opens, said husband, our kids with hem, walk in. Kiara and Dani clime up, careful of my legs and hips and hug me. I welcome the hug they give, kissing their hairs. Danny hands me little Erika, she smells of milk. "I thought you'd like to name her, I did think of a middle name." Danny said, sitting in the chair. "Yeah." "Phoenix. She's got your wild hair." I smile. "Erika Phoenix Fowl. Perfect." I say. "Erika, I love it." Danny said.

"Daniel." I say. Danny perks up, he knows if I use his full name, I'm serious about something. "What is it, Kai." Danny's tone is the way when I get like this. "I've decided to step down, I want to be there for Erika where I wasn't for Kiara and Dani. I'll still be the medic but I want to be the three's mother." I said, looking hem dead in the eye. Danny leans forward and for a second, I think he's gonna yell. He than smiles "We've known this day would come, we've seen the way you act coming back from missions and when you go. It breaks you, hard. This is you decision to make, I speak for all the Assassin's, you have our full support." Danny said. I smile "Go get Cole, please love." I ask. Danny nods, getting up and leaves the room.

Cole's p.o.v (Rocky)

Leaned against the wall beside Bizarro Jay and Zane, I look when Danny comes over. "How is he." Lloyd asked. "In a lot of pain, but good. Cole, he wants in there." Danny said. I push off "What about us." Nya asks. "Only the Assassin's second-in-command and commander can be in there." Danny said, and it stops my ninjas. I'm about to take the role as second-in-command of the Assassin's. Walking in, Kai has the baby in his arms. He looks at me, smiling. "Come, sit." His tone is the kind he uses when he's addressing an Assassin, one I've come to fear yet respect at the same time. Danny takes the baby girl, I sit on the bed. I look at Kai over all, he has so many scars, more than when he was a ninja. I don't blame hem for wanting to step down. He probably wants to be with his kids more than anything. "I'll still be the medic of the Assassin's, but, I've missed four years of Kiara and Dani's life, I'm not missing Erikas. I, Kai Fowl, Assassin's second-in-command, relinquish the title to Cole Brickstone." Kai says. I follow suit, Kai having trained me for this. "And I, Cole Brickstone, Assassin's scout, accept the role that you have given me, my lord." I say in respect, bowing my head. Kai rests his good hand on my head, chanting.

A burn on my eye has me slightly flinching. Kai pulls his hand back. Sitting up, he smiles, holding a mirror. I look and am in awe at it

"I'll do my best." I say. Kai nods, he shifts to lay back, Danny gives hem Erika. "I'm tired, we'll talk more later." Me and Danny leave, the others marvel at the mark.

Morro's p.o.v.

Hearing about Kai while I was away, I hurry to the hospital, hoping my Lord is alive. Touching down, the air leaving me as I run in. I go to the desk. "I'm looking for Kai Fowl, I'm Morro Aurro of the Assassin's." I ask. The nurse looks "He's in the maternity ward, 574." I crease my brows but head up there. Coming in, I do triple takes. The ninja look at me, two other ninja groups and a Bizarro group. Keth walks up "Morro, glad cha made it. Kai's asleep right now. I'll fill ya in." I see someone I begged Kai and Danny to let me date. And he runs to me, jumping into my arms and I kiss hem. I hold Lloyd close, kissing hem but pull away. Keth smiles at me "So he's the one you begged Kai and Danny to let you date." "That's beyond the point, did Kai and Danny have another baby."

Seth, Keth's twin brother, grins than frowns. "Another girl, cute as a botton. We even arrested the guy that accused Kai of the murder." I motion hem to continue. "A year ago...." "I know about Chens tournament of elements thanks to Lloyd here, I lost contact with Kai and Danny eleven months back, why." I say, sitting, Lloyd sitting on my lap. "Paradox, Kai's nemesis, sent hem to a parallel universe where his counterpart was going through the same thing as he but worse. Kai had been under ship arrest for five of the fifteen years. It was so bad, from what Pyro told us, they removed his and Dan's door. Kai showed up, and taught that Cole a harsher lesson of helplessness. Cole than returned Kai's door. The next day, Kai went after Jay, locking hem in the room that can only be opened via key on the ship.

"It was cut short when Pyro  noticed Kai's collor was embedded in his neck. To give an idea of how bad it was. Had Pyro not gone when he did, Kai would have died two days from Jay's lesson." Seth explains.

"Upon finding out that my counterpart had placed the collor, Pyro almost killed hem. But as time went on, Lloyd became very protective over Kai. Pyro wanted to stay long enough to make sure Kai recovered. We came home and a month after we got back, phyco Kai kidnapped Pyro and just brutally mutilated hem." Lloyd says.

"We only saw the aftermath, but phyco Kai had taken a sledge hammer to Kai's knee caps, shins, hips, lift shoulder and right hand over and over for three weeks. Just before coming to the cell we were in, phyco Kai had burned Pyro's right eye. When he got to us, phyco woke hem up by burning his hip. Pyro, while phyco was burning hem, grabed his shirt and head butted phyco." Dan says

"Howling not from pain but rage, phyco kicked Pyro and started slugging hem. He broke Pyro's nose, dislocated his jaw and burned his eye worse. Pyro, yelling in pain, used a smashed leg and kicked phyco off. Phyco crashed into the wall hard enough cracks formed." La-lloyd says. I smirk, Pyro taught every Assassin to never go down without a fight. I motion hem to continue. "Pyro, answering to phyco throwing a fire ball at hem, breathed fire. Phyco was forced to relent and leave. But, he came back and with a sledgehammer. He smashed Pyro's shins and hit hem in the head, would have killed Pyro if not for them showing up." La-lloyd said. "And the rest you know." Seth says. I nod, leaning on the wall, but one thing is nagging me. "Who's now second-in-command." I ask. Cole rises his hand, I see the dragon mark on his eye. With a nod, I pull Lloyd close and wait to see Kai.
