Missing: Part 2
Skylor's P.O.V.:
I saw Liv sitting on the gurney while the paramedics were treating her. She was awake and talking so I went to ask her some questions.
"Wait Liv!" I shouted.
"Hello officer." She said.
"Hi I don't think we've met before. I'm officer Skylor Smith, I'm Nya Walker's sister in law." Skylor introduced herself.
"Oh yes, I've heard so much about you." Liv smiled. "Thank you for arresting Jett and helping us through all of this. Olivia is very lucky to have you as your aunt."
"Thank you. Actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about." Skylor sighed.
"Why? Is she alright?" Liv asked.
"My husband Kai was watching her and he just called and said that she had disappeared. I was wondering if you heard Jett say anything about it?"
"Well Jett didn't say that he had seen Olivia and he sounded like he didn't know where she was."
"Well, that's good news I guess, but that also means she could be anywhere by now." I frowned.
"I remember that Jett used to tell me he got power spurts when he was little where he would teleport to random locations." Liv told me.
"Wow, so she really could be anywhere." I frowned.
"Wherever she is, I hope she's ok." Liv frowned.
"Yeah, me too." I frowned.
The paramedics loaded her in the ambulance and took her to the hospital. I immediately texted everyone in the group chat.
———{{{Skylor's Phone}}}———
Skylor: Ok guys, so I have
good news and bad news.
The good news is that Jett
has been arrested and Liv
is going to the hospital.
The paramedics got to
her just in time so she is
expected to recover. The
bad news is that now we
can't find Olivia. Have
any of you seen her?
Zane: We have not seen her.
Cole: Neither have we.
Kira: She never showed
up here.
Nya: Kai! You
had one job! 😡
Kai: It wasn't my fault!
I just turned around
and she was gone.
Jay: Jett didn't say
anything to Liv
about her did he?
Skylor: No. As far as we
know he doesn't know
where she is. Liv told me
she might start getting
power spurts at this age
that could send her
anywhere at any time.
Cole: At least we know
she's safe from him
right?
Nya: But she could
be anywhere!
Jay: Is there nothing
you and the police
could do Skylor?
Skylor: Unfortunately not.
We need at least something
to go off of before we can
make a case and this is such
a unique situation that it
would automatically go
cold.
Kai: I called everyone
in the neighborhood
and no one's seen her.
Nya: Please there has
to be something we
can do. Anything?
Skylor: I could put out a
local search party but that
might not do anything
depending on where she
went. I'm so sorry Nya
and Jay.
Kai: No, I'm sorry.
This was all my fault.
I should've kept a
better eye on her.
Nya: It's ok Kai, I know
it wasn't your fault. I'm
just worried about my
daughter. 😔
Skylor: I promise I'll do
everything I can.
Lloyd: Hang on Skylor,
I think I know where
she is.
Nya: What do you mean?
Lloyd: You'll see. Just
hold on a minute.

I was confused but I put my phone down and I went back to my car. I didn't know what Lloyd had up his sleeve but hopefully it would work, because if it didn't, we were all screwed.
Lloyd's P.O.V.:
I was still at the apartment with Kira. She, Wu and my father were packing up our things getting ready to go back to the monastery in the morning. Now with Jett on his way to jail and Kira and I feeling better, we felt it was time to give my dad and Wu their space back. I'm sure Wu was tired of sharing the room with my dad and honestly we were ready to go back home again.
After reading those texts, I decided that I would try to contact Ryder again. Maybe if Olivia was randomly teleporting all over the place, it's possible that she teleported to the island because her friends and family are there.
I told Kira and she was all for it. So I laid down on the couch and closed my eyes, trying to contact Ryder. I just hope I'm not too late.
Ryder's P.O.V.:
After what happened with Trent, Ashley still didn't have any powers. We were all confident they would come back eventually, but her powers were the only thing keeping Allison's injury from getting any worse. She needed stitches on her side where the rocks cut her, which were obviously not available here, so Ashley would heal her whenever she needed to. But now that she couldn't do that, it was getting harder for her to do everyday tasks.
Alex had also been struggling to open the chest. He had been trying nonstop since we got that thing and hadn't made any progress. I could tell he was growing quite frustrated with the task, but he took it upon himself to get it done and refused to let anyone help.
I went over to the shelter and found Ashley sitting down and Trent was next to her. He hadn't left her side since the incident.
"Hey Ash, how are you feeling?" I asked.
"Useless." She sighed.
"Don't say that." Trent comforted her.
"I know what it's like to not have powers." I told her. "It can be frustrating but they'll come back eventually. Trust me."
"Easy for you to say, your powers were back within 24 hours. Mine have been gone for three days." Ashley frowned. "I just feel like I'm no help to anyone like this."
"That's not true. You help us all the time." Trent said.
"Yeah, when I had powers." She sighed.
Just then Ethan and Jax returned to the shelter. They were supposed to come back with food, but they didn't seem to have much.
"Hey guys, what food did you find?" I asked.
"We looked all over the island and only found a few coconuts." Ethan frowned.
"That's all?" I frowned.
"Well we did find more but they all rotten on the inside." Jax said.
"Yeah, and we're catching less fish every day." Lily said as her and Matt came back from the beach.
"It's like they all swam away." Matt said with one tiny fish on the end of his line.
"It seems the island's resources are depleting rapidly." Alex said.
"All the more reason to get out of here." I said.
"Guys we have a problem." Amber walked up to us.
"What's up?" I asked.
"It's Allison. Without Ashley's power her injury is getting worse and I can't get her to stay still." She told us.
"Ow!" Allison said walking up behind her.
"Alli, I told you to stay still." Amber frowned.
"I wanna help us get out of this place." She said still holding her side.
"I know, but you're still hurt." I said. "Might be best to sit this one out."
"But I..."
Allison's sentence was interpreted by a loud sound of screaming on the beach. We all ran over to see what was wrong. We all saw a young blonde haired girl laying face down on the beach.
"Who is that?" I asked.
Lily looked closer at her. "I think that's..."
"It can't be." Jax said. "She's back home with Mom and Dad."
The girl started moving and lifted her head up, facing us. We all realized that it was...
"Olivia?!" We all said.
Jax, Lily and Matt ran to her and helped her up. She seemed tired and confused but not physically hurt.
"Olivia, what are you doing here?" Lily asked.
"Lily? Jax? Matt?" She looked around. "Where am I?"
"You're on the island with us." Jax said. "How did you get here?"
"I... I don't know." She frowned.
"Ok calm down, what's the last thing you remember?" Matt asked.
"Well, Mom and Dad left me at Uncle Kai's house and then I sneezed and the next thing I knew I was here."
Alex stood in front of her and scanned her.
"It seems she is experiencing an elemental fever." He said. "As a teleportation master, she could have small random bursts of energy that causes her to teleport to random locations at any time."
"Is there any way she can control where it takes her?" Blake asked.
"Usually an element is uncontrollable until a master reaches their true potential." Alex said.
"So until she teleports again, she's stuck here?" Amber asked.
"Affirmative." Alex said.
"I knew she was getting dizzy spells but that was it." Jax said. "I had no idea it could make you teleport randomly."
"Neither did I." Olivia shrugged.
"Mom and Dad didn't explain it to you?" Lily asked.
"Lily, they don't have that power. I doubt they knew either." Jax frowned.
"So they probably have no idea where she is, and we have no way to tell them." Matt frowned.
"Yes we do." I said.
"What are you talking about?" Ethan asked.
"I don't know how, but I talked to Dad a few days ago." I said.
"What?" They all screamed.
"How?" Ethan asked.
"Is Mom ok?" Ashley asked.
"Did you hear anything about my mom?" Trent asked.
"Guys guys, stop it!" I demanded. "I'll answer all your questions when I have time, but for now we have to focus on getting Olivia home."
"But seriously, how did you talk to Dad?" Ethan asked.
"Honestly, I have no idea." I sighed. "It almost felt like a dream, but at the same time it was definitely real."
"How did you figure that out?" Allison asked.
"No idea, I started getting a migraine, then I passed out and I was talking to my father." I said.
"Maybe you have to wait for him to contact you?" Blake said.
"I don't know, maybe it was a one time thing and it was just... a..."
All of a sudden my head started pounding like crazy. I got so dizzy I passed out and entered the dreamscape with my dad...
"Ryder?" My dad's voice called to me.
"Dad?" I shouted back.
A ghost like figure of my father appeared in front of me. After the day I've had, it felt relieving to see him again.
"Ryder, we have a problem." My father said.
"Boy, I'll say." I said. "Olivia just showed up here out of nowhere, we still can't unlock the scroll of Airjitsu, we're running out of a food supply for this many people, and I'm at my wits end. I don't know what to do."
"It's ok bud, calm down." He said. "You're doing great. Plus we caught Jett and he's going to be in jail for a long time."
"That's good, but what do I do about my friends and siblings? We're already rationing our food and there's not enough for Olivia too."
"I know it's tough, but now that the guy is behind bars you can go back to looking for a way off the island."
"I already tried, nothing is working. Plus the fact that Ashley's powers aren't working is just making everything worse."
"Wait, why aren't her powers working?"
"Trent had an asthma attack and Ashley had to use all the strength she had left to stop it. He wouldn't have made it if she didn't." I explained.
"And now they aren't working at all?"
"Yeah." I frowned. "And what's worse is that was the only thing keeping Allison from bleeding out from her injury."
"Is she doing ok?"
"Not well." I frowned. "She needs stitches but we can't get her the help she needs."
"I see, that's a tough one, but I know you can figure it out." He smiled.
"No Dad, I can't. I don't know what to do. Trent almost died because of me!"
"You can't control something like that bud, what's important is that you did everything you could to fix it, didn't you?"
"Well yeah but..."
"And he's ok now, right?"
"Yes but I..."
"Then you did your job and there's nothing to be upset about." He said.
"Well, I guess you're right." I agreed.
"If you can handle that, you should be able to handle anything that comes your way."
"But that doesn't change our situation."
"If you can't change your situation, change yourself."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You'll figure it out." He winked. "I'll talk to you later bud. Good luck."
"Ok. Thanks Dad."
I woke up on the beach gasping for air. I sat up and saw my team there. My head hurt, but it wasn't nearly as bad as last time.
"Ryder, are you ok?" Amber asked.
"Yeah, I think so." I held my head.
"Did you see Dad?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah, I told him Olivia was here, but he didn't give me any advice about getting her home." I said.
"At least our parents will know where she is now." Lily said.
"Yeah, but that probably won't make them feel any better." Jax said.
"I'm sure if we put our heads together we can think of something." Blake said.
"Wait, if she teleported here, maybe there's a way she could teleport back." Trent said.
"But I don't know how I did it in the first place." Olivia said.
"It's ok sis, we're gonna get you home." Lily said.
"We're going to get everyone home." I said. "We have to, before it's too late."
"Ow!" Allison screamed.
"Are you sure you're ok?" Amber asked her.
Allison tried to nod, but she was holding her side again. Amber lifted her hands and discovered her shirt was covered in blood in that spot. Lily shielded Olivia's eyes so she didn't see it.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Amber asked her.
"I... I didn't want... to worry you." Allison struggled to breathe.
"Ok, that's it, no more waiting." Amber said. "I'm going to try something."
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Saving my girlfriend's life."
Amber ran to Olivia and touched her shoulder, absorbing her power. She then picked up Allison in her arms and used the power to teleport away.
"Where did she go?" Blake asked.
"I think she went home." I said.
To be continued...
