Jay's P.O.V.:

Lloyd: Ok guys, I got in
touch with Ryder through
our Oni communication.
He said Olivia showed up
on the island. They think
her powers somehow
teleported her there.

Nya: That's a relief.

Jay: Is she ok?

Lloyd: Ryder said she wasn't
hurt, but he said the island's
resources are depleting. They
need more supplies and he's
worried that they won't have
enough food to last much
longer.

Cole: We need to get
them off that island!

Kai: I'm with Cole.

Zane: It is peculiar that
the island's resources
are declining. This time
of year the flora and
fauna should be plentiful.

Jay: That is weird.

Lloyd: Zane, do you think
there's something making
the island like this?

Zane: I do not know.
I will see what I can
find out.

Lloyd: Thanks Zane.

Cole: Did Ryder say
anything else?

Lloyd: Yeah. He said that
Allison and Blake were
hurt but Ashley's taking
care of them.

Kai: What?!

Cole: Why didn't
you tell us sooner?

Lloyd: Because you guys
had enough to worry
about with everything
going on with Jett and
then Ben and CJ getting
hurt.

Kai: Do you know what
happened to them?

Lloyd: Blake has a
dislocated shoulder
from the shipwreck
and Allison has a
cut in her side.

Kai: I was worried
about that. Blake
has never been a
fan of water.

Cole: I really hope
Allison is ok.

Lloyd: Ryder said
they were both
doing better.

Jay: Hopefully we
can get them back
home soon.

Nya: Yeah, before
the elements get
to them first.

Kai: Did he say the rest
of them were ok?

Lloyd: He said that Trent
had an asthma attack and
Ashley used the last of her
powers to save his life.

Kai: What?!

Cole: So wait, if Ashley's
powers aren't working,
then how is Allison
gonna get help?

Lloyd: Don't worry guys,
Ashley's been to work
with Kira dozens of times.
I'm sure she knows how
to treat them even
without her power.

Cole: I hope you're right.

Lloyd: Just stay calm
and keep them in your
thoughts. Communicating
with Ryder like that takes
a toll on both of us and
he just learned how so we
can only keep it up a few
minutes. I'll let you guys
know if I find out
anything else.

Jay: Ok. We'll try.

Kai: Thanks for
telling us Lloyd.

Cole: Yeah, thanks.

Nya and I were in the waiting room at the hospital waiting until the doctors said we could see Liv. She was still being treated for the injuries from being kidnapped by Jett. We just got done seeing Lloyd's texts on the group chat.

Nya kept her face buried in her hands. She was so upset at what Lloyd said about the kids. I was too, but I was trying to stay positive for my wife. Usually she's the one who gets me through just about anything, but when it involved the kids she's an emotional wreck. She doesn't usually get upset about anything else, but when it came to her family that's when she cares the most. In most situations Nya was always my rock, but when she's upset I have to be the one to anchor her down. She does the same for me everyday, it's only fair I be there for her when she needs me.

"At least we know where she is." I said, trying to cheer up my wife.

"Yes, but she could teleport again at any moment and she has no control on where she goes next." Nya tried to dry her tears.

"I know, but we knew this was always a possibility when we adopted her." I said.

"I... I just thought that I would be able to keep up with her." Nya sighed. "And to be honest I thought I'd have the kids here to help this stuff."

"I miss them too, but as long as we have each other, there's no problem we can't work through." I grabbed her hand.

"Thanks." She smiled.

Just then we saw an older woman come off the elevator and run to the reception desk.

"Hi, is Olivia Benson here?" She asked the lady.

The receptionist told her that she couldn't see her yet. I heard her and went to tap her on the shoulder.

"Yes?" She asked.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't help but overhear, how do you know Liv?"

"I'm her sponsor in AA." She said. "You must be..."

"We adopted Liv's daughter." Nya said. "Liv was injured in a car accident and got kidnapped by her ex, but she's going to be ok."

"Oh that's good news." She said relieved. Then she held out her hand. "I'm Gia."

"I'm Jay, and this is my wife, Nya." I introduced us.

"Do you know if Jett was caught?" Gia asked.

"Yes, he's going to jail for a long time." Nya said.

"Finally some good news." Gia said.

"Olivia Benson is ready to accept visitors." The nurse walked up to us.

"Thank you." Gia smiled.

"Let's go see her." I said to Nya. "Ok?"

"Ok." Nya nodded and grabbed my hand.

We followed Gia to Liv's room and went in. We saw her on the bed with her leg in a cast. She looked bruised and had some scrapes.

"Liv, are you alright?" Gia asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Liv said. "It's not as bad as it looks."

"I think you'd be happy to know that Jett was arrested and is headed to jail." I told her.

"Thank goodness." Liv took a deep breath. "Did you find Olivia?"

"Our friend was able to contact his son on the island and he said she teleported there." Nya said.

"Ok, but there's no telling where she could go next." Liv frowned.

"The important thing is she's not alone right now, that's what we need to focus on." I said.

"Yeah, I guess." Nya sighed.

I put my arm around her and she leaned into me.

"So when are they letting you go home?" Gia asked Liv.

"They're releasing me tomorrow, but my apartment is on the third floor and they don't have an elevator in my building so I won't be able to go home for a while." Liv frowned.

"Then where are you going to stay?" I asked.

"All I can afford is the motel on 5th. It's a two star but at least it's on the ground floor."

"Nonsense, you'll stay with me." Gia said.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna impose."

"Not a problem, my husband is visiting his mother so I have plenty of space and a guest room on the first floor." Gia said.

"Ok, thanks for being here Gia." Liv said.

"I'm always here." Gia smiled.

"Nya, let's give them some space." I said. "Are you hungry? We could see if anything good in the cafeteria."

"Yeah, ok." Nya nodded.

Nya and I left and started to walk down to the cafeteria. Hopefully I could get her to cheer up soon.

Kai's P.O.V.:

Skylor and I were in the living room. She had just gotten home and taken off her uniform for the day. Now that the guy had been arrested, she was taken a much needed break from her work, but that meant she was going to think about the kids again.

Lloyd had been in contact with Ryder through his Oni form and told us Olivia ended up on the island with them. We were relieved to know that she was with the others who can keep her safe, but we were still wondering how they were going to get back.

Skylor exited her bedroom wearing her sweats. She sat down next to me on the couch and sighed.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"I guess, I just can't wrap my head around what to do next."

"You solved a huge case by yourself Skylor, you deserve some time off after that."

"Yeah, I go back in on Monday. The commissioner wants to talk to me."

"Do you think it's good news?" I asked.

"I don't know. Because this case involves my niece I wasn't really allowed to take it, but they made an exception because I didn't know that when it started, but I don't know if the commissioner was ok with that."

"You think you might get in trouble?"

"He sounded pretty serious on the phone. I don't know what it means, but right now I just want to relax and not think about it." She sighed, but then she looked at the wall of family pictures.

"That's good, take a break." I sat down next to her on the couch.

"I kept working to keep my mind off missing the kids, and now I have nothing to do but sit here and miss them." She frowned.

"It has been three weeks since they ended up on the island." I sighed. "But on the bright side, thanks to you at least they'll be safe from Jett when they get back."

"If they ever come back." Skylor frowned.

"Don't say that. I'm sure they'll come through that door any minute now." I said.

All of a sudden, we heard a loud noise coming from the kitchen. Skylor grabbed her taser and we ran in there and couldn't believe what we saw.

"Amber?!" We both shouted.

She stood in the middle of the kitchen with an unconscious Allison in her arms. We couldn't believe it.

"It's really you." I smiled. "How did you...?"

"I'm sure you guys have a million questions, but right now I have to get her to the hospital." Amber said.

"Alright, I'll drive you." Skylor said grabbing her keys to her squad car.

"I'll call Cole on the way." I said.

Amber looked skinny and tired, so I took Allison from her and we all got in Skylor's police car. She turned the siren on and took us to the hospital. I called Cole and told him to meet us there.

Once we were in the hospital we admitted Allison to the emergency room and we got Amber checked out too. Allison had to get stitches on her side and both of them were extremely malnourished and dehydrated after being on the island for so long. If these two were in this condition, I couldn't imagine what Blake, Trent and the others were like.

A few moments later, Cole and Seliel came bursting through the door. They saw me and ran up to us.

"Kai, where is she? Is she ok?" Cole asked me.

"She's being treated now." Skylor said.

"We don't understand, did all the kids come back?" Seliel asked.

"No, just Amber and Allison." I said.

"How?" Cole asked.

"We don't know, she didn't explain yet. She's getting checked out herself." Skylor said.

Amber's P.O.V.:

"Hey guys." I said walking out of the ER.

"Amber!" Mom and Dad ran to hug me.

"We're so happy you're safe." Mom said.

"Do you need anything? Food? Water?" Dad asked.

"I'm fine Dad, the doctors gave me everything I needed." I said.

"Is Allison ok?" Cole asked me.

"I just checked on her. She lost a lot of blood and needed stitches, but she'll be okay." I told them. "She's in the last room on the right."

"Thank you. Come on Cole, let's go." Seleil said pulling at his arm.

"Right." Cole nodded.

They both ran down the hallway to Allison's room. I sat down with my parents in the waiting room. I'm sure they wanted an explanation.

"I don't know where to start." I sighed.

"Start with how your brothers are and why you left them all behind." My dad said.

"I didn't have a choice." I defended myself. "Allison got hurt in a rockslide accident and Ashley was keeping her from bleeding out, but then she had to use it all to save Trent when he had an asthma attack and she couldn't use it anymore so when I saw Olivia there, I knew absorbing her power was the only way to get her help."

"Wait, what happened to Trent?" My mom frowned.

"I dropped his spare inhaler during the shipwreck and he suffered a bad asthma attack. He's ok now thanks to Ashley, but she used all the power she had left to save him." I frowned. "She was already using a lot of it for Blake's shoulder. He dislocated it during the shipwreck."

My parents looked at each other. They obviously weren't told about what happened to my brothers. I knew Ryder and his dad were somehow in contact, but I guess he didn't tell him everything.

"I would've brought them too, but Olivia's powers are uncontrollable at this stage. I honestly wasn't even sure if it was going to work the first time, I just wanted to save her." I told them. "I only have enough power left to teleport back to the island one more time."

"Back to the island?" My mom frowned. "What do you mean?"

"I can't just leave them there Mom, I have to go back for my friends."

"But you're here, with us." My dad said.

"Yes, but they're not." I frowned. "I can't just bolt out on them and leave them to fend for themselves. The island's resources are depleting and we're running out of food and medical supplies. I can't just leave them there."

"Can't you just bring them all back one at a time?" My dad asked.

"Olivia's powers aren't fully developed yet. It takes so much of it to teleport from there to here, I'd have to absorb it every time. At this stage of her powers, I would end up taking all of it from her and I don't know what that would do to her."

"Trust me, not recommended." My mom said. "I know how that feels and that would take a toll on your powers as well."

"How long until you have to leave?" Dad asked.

"Probably as soon as I know Allison is ok." I said. "An hour at the most."

"Ok, at least let us send some things back with you." My mom said. "Just some food and supplies that will get you through until we can find a way to get everyone back."

"That's a good idea." My dad agreed. "We'll run to the store and be right back."

"We love you." My mom hugged me.

They left in a hurry to go get some things. I went back into Allison's room and she had just gotten done explaining to her parents what happened.

Allison's P.O.V.:

My parents rushed into my room and covered me in hugs. It was so nice to see them again. They had a lot of questions and after I was done answering them, Amber walked into the room.

"Am I interrupting?" Amber poked her head into my room.

"No no, come in." I said.

"How are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm stitched up and ready to go back." I started to stand up.

"Go back?" My dad frowned. "Why would you go back?"

"Because my friends are still on that island. They'll need my strength to get them home."

"Don't you want to see the boys and Kirby first?" My dad asked.

"I want to, but it'll just confuse them to see me and when I have to go right back." I told them.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense." Mom sighed. "They miss you so much."

"I miss them too, but I don't want to disappoint them." I said. "It's too complicated for them to understand."

"Wait, I've got an idea." My dad said.

My dad pulled out his phone and gave it to me.

"Dad, I can't call them, it'll be too hard." I frowned.

"You don't have to call, just record a video. I'll tell them that you found a way to send it to me." Dad said.

"Alright, I guess I can do that." I smiled.

I opened the camera and started recording the video.

"Hey Ben. Hi CJ. I hope you guys haven't caused too much trouble for Mom and Dad. Anyway, I know I've been gone for a while, and I'm not sure when I'm gonna be back, but I love you and miss you both. I hope I can make it back to you soon." I tried not tear up. "I'll see you later boys. Love you."

I hit the button and handed the phone back to my dad. I started to get up but Amber stopped me.

"Stay down. We'll leave when my parents come back." Amber said. "They're out getting some things to help us survive on the island until we can get everyone home."

"It's ok Amber, I just wanna freshen up a little before we go back. We've spent weeks on an island with no running water, I just want one proper shower."

"Yeah, sure." Amber said.

Amber's P.O.V.:

I moved aside and let her go to the bathroom. I could tell she was still a bit dizzy, so her mom followed her in there. Cole was looking at me.

"Did you ask her yet?" He asked.

"No, I couldn't find the right time." I sighed. "You didn't say anything to her did you?"

"No, I wasn't going to unless she told us." Cole said. "Are you still going to ask?"

"I was so focused on making sure everything was perfect, but now that I almost lost her I don't care about that anymore." I frowned. "I don't think it matters when or how I ask now, all I want is a future with her."

"I know she feels the same." Cole smiled.

"So you think I should ask her here?"

"I think you need to be the one to make that decision, and I know you two will have an incredible life together."

"Thanks Mr. Brookstone." I smiled.

A few minutes later, my parents came back with a big box full of stuff. They had got us plenty of food, a first aid kit, a change of clothes for everyone, blankets, a box of matches and three jugs of water for us to share.

"You guys were only gone forty five minutes." I said.

"I know, but we just want to make sure you're all set to go back." My dad said.

"I appreciate that Dad." I smiled. "I just hope my friends aren't too mad at me for leaving them like I did."

"It was an emergency. I'm sure they'll understand once you explain." My mom said.

"Yeah, I was talking to the doctor earlier." Cole said. "He said that you got Allison here just in time, a minute more and she might not have made it."

"I just feel guilty that I had to leave them all behind and barely said a word to them."

"Don't feel guilty sweetie. You did what you had to do." My mom sat down with me.

"Mom? Did you catch that guy?" I asked.

"Yeah, we did. And just in time." She smiled. "I'm glad you never had to deal with him."

"Yeah me too." My dad said holding his side.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Don't worry princess, I'm fine." He said.

"He was mugged by Jett a few weeks ago." My mom told me. "He's doing better now, but his ribs still hurt sometimes."

"We think he attacked CJ and Ben too." Cole frowned. "They still get nightmares about it."

"He did all of that?" I frowned. "I wish we would've been here to protect you."

"It's ok princess, it's all over now." My dad smiled. "Your aunt Nya was really worried about Olivia though."

"I know she is, but tell her we'll do everything to keep her safe until we can get her home." I said.

"I'm sure she'll appreciate that." My dad said.

Just then Allison and her mom came out of the bathroom. She looked much better and happier in now clean clothes and brushed hair. She looked at all the stuff my parents had gotten for us.

"Are those for us?" She asked.

"Yeah my parents thought we could use a few things to take back with us." I said. "They kind of went a little overboard."

"Ok. Do the others' parents know we're here?" Allison asked.

"I don't know if that would be a good idea." My dad frowned. "It would probably just make them more upset."

"Probably best they don't know." I said. "We have to go back anyway."

"Ok. Just keep everyone safe." My dad hugged me.

"We love you." My mom joined the hug.

"I love you guys too." I hugged them too.

"Are you sure you're ready to go back?" Cole asked Allison.

"I have to Dad, they need me." Allison said.

"Ok cupcake. I love you." He hugged you.

"Stay safe out there all-star." Her mom hugged her too.

"Bye guys." Allison smiled.

"Allison, there's something I need to ask you." I said.

All the grownups took a few steps back and let me have the floor.

"I was looking for the right place and the right time, but after almost losing you, I realized that tomorrow isn't always a given thing. It made me realize that I don't want to wait any longer." I pulled out the medallion and got down on one knee. "Allison, will you be my yang?"

She stood there totally speechless and picked up the medallion.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!" She jumped into my arms.

She gave me a big kiss and everyone clapped for us. I was so happy she was going to be in my life forever.

Once the excitement died down we were finally ready to go back to the island. We said one last goodbye to our parents and I grabbed my yang's hand and the box of stuff our parents got and we teleported back to the island. Hopefully they weren't too mad at me for leaving.
