Lloyd's P.O.V.:

Skylor and I were still in the same place. Harumi was out, but Mr. F was staring us down so that we didn't try anything. I didn't even want to think about where she was right now, I just hope Kira took my advice and got the kids somewhere safe.

My back was hurting even worse than it was before. It was still too painful to move even with Skylor's help.

"Feeling any better?" Skylor asked.

"It still hurts to move my back." I groaned as I tried to move it again. "You alright?"

"I'm doing ok." She nodded. "Any ideas on how we get out of here?"

"Even if I did, I know I wouldn't be able to make it." I frowned. "The only way is if we strike a deal with Harumi to let you go and I stay here."

"Ok one, you're my friend and I'm not leaving you behind, especially in your condition, and two, we both know she won't make good on that deal."

"What other choice do we have?"

"Well if we don't find a way out then the kids will come here first and I really don't want them to." She frowned.

"Me neither, but don't worry, I'm sure Kai and Kira won't let that happen."

"You don't know our kids then." Skylor laughed.

"Smart move, Lloyd." Harumi walked in. "Moving them away from the monastery so I wouldn't be able to find your family, very clever. But now I'm going to need you to tell me where they are."

"I'd rather die than tell you anything." I scowled.

"Ok, have it your way, but just know you're only delaying the inevitable." She said. "I was going to show them some mercy, but now when I find them, you'll be sorry."

"And you'll be sorry when they kick your butt!" Skylor yelled.

"We'll see about that." She laughed and started walking away.

"Get back here! We're not done with this!" I yelled.

She turned around and saw me attempting to stand up, but I couldn't move. Skylor tried to help but I was in too much pain. Harumi laughed and proceeded to walk away. Mr F followed her.

I kept trying to get up, but I couldn't do it.

"Lloyd, stop. You're making it worse." Skylor said.

"No Skylor, we have to get to our families before she does, if we don't we might not have families to go back to."

"Relax, they'll find us." Skylor said.

"I just hope she doesn't find them first." I frowned.

Ryder's P.O.V.:

All of the adults were in the kitchen trying to discuss ways to save my dad and Skylor. Amber, Blake, Trent and my siblings were trying to come up with a plan to sneak out and save them ourselves. Trent was still a little out of it from his crash earlier, but he insisted on helping. Ashley was using her powers to help heal his shoulder.

"We have to do something to get them back." Blake said pacing the floor.

"We're trying, but we need a plan first." I told him.

"Trent, you said we had a map, right?" Amber asked.

"Yeah but Dad has the phone." Trent frowned. "I can't remember what it looked like. I'm sorry."

"It's ok Trent, at least we know where the map is. All we have to do now is get it the phone and text it to one of us." I said.

"Ahh." Ashley suddenly stopped healing Trent and leaned back catching her breath. "Does that feel... better?"

"Yeah, thanks." Trent said moving his shoulder. He was still tensing up a little bit, but he looked a lot better. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, just a little drained." Ashley said smiling. "The important thing is that you're ok."

Trent smiled and held Ashley's hand, leading her to smile too. Me and Amber looked at each other and smiled. We knew there was something between them, even if they didn't realize it yet.

"Let's get back on track." Blake said. "If we can distract my dad long enough, one of us can sneak in and send the pictures of the maps to Amber."

"I have the perfect person in mind." I smiled at Ethan. "You ready for a mission little bro?"

"You bet!" Ethan smiled.

"Alright, then let's do this." I said.

I sent Ethan into the kitchen and he distracted everyone by saying he had another nightmare. Kai put the phone down and I tried to walk over to it, but with my ankle brace it was hard to keep quiet. I accidentally tripped over it and fell on my knees. Everyone turned around and looked at me. My mom looked more mad than anything.

"Ryder Wu." My mom shouted. "What are you doing?"

"I wanted to... Uhh... get an ice pack... for my ankle..."

"You wanna find your dad." Mom sighed. "Ryder, we're doing everything we can..."

"No you're not. You're all just sitting around talking and not doing anything to actually find them." I yelled. "Dad and Skylor could be hurt or worse and you act as if you don't even care!"

"Of course we do." My grandma frowned. "But we can't just rush in there without a plan."

"But you're not trying to come up with a plan!"

"We will, you just need to give us time." Kai said.

"Time is the one thing they don't have!"

Kira's P.O.V.:

Ryder stormed out of there and went back into the living room and Ethan followed him. I was about to follow him, but Garmadon put his hand on my shoulder.

"Give him some time Kira." He told me. "He'll cool down soon."

"You know what, he's right." Kai said.

"Right about what?" I asked.

"As much as I hate to say it, they're not kids anymore." Kai frowned. "Maybe we should let them go on this mission by themselves."

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"We've trained them for anything that comes their way. They're ready." He insisted. "As far as I know sending them in is our best chance to rescue Skylor and Lloyd."

"Well I guess you're right." I sighed.

Kai and I went into the living room to talk to the kids. I noticed Ashley was looking more tired than usual and Ryder was putting ice on his ankle again.

"Are you guys ok?" I asked.

"Yeah Mom, I was trying to help Trent." Ashley said.

"And my ankle was sore from when I tripped." Ryder said. "It feels fine now though."

"Good because Kira and I were talking and we think it's time to let you go on the mission by yourselves." Kai told them.

"Really? You mean it?" Trent smiled.

"Sorry Trent, your shoulder is still pretty bad and your mech is out of commission at the moment." Kai frowned. "I think you need to sit this one out."

"But Dad, this is all my fault. The least I can do is try and fix it." He frowned.

"Matt's going to be working the coms so maybe he could use your help." Amber suggested.

"Ok, fine." Trent frowned.

"Ethan I think you'll be safer here with us." I told him.

"But I want to help." Ethan frowned.

"Whatever she wants, it has something to do with you. The best thing you can do is stay hidden, ok?" I said.

"Ok." Ethan sighed.

"Ok guys, let's get the rest of the team together." Ryder said.

"Be careful son." I hugged him.

"I will Mom." He nodded.

Ryder's P.O.V.:

My mom lent me her car and I called everyone on the way and told them to meet up at Jay and Nya's house. Matt said that he and Nya were working on some vehicles for us and this was the perfect time to test them out.

We all arrived at the house and Matt took us out to the garage. He opened the door to reveal two vehicles, one was a really big mech and the other one was a motorcycle.

"Wow. These look awesome!" I said.

"They look great Matt, but I don't think all of us are going to fit in those." Blake said.

"I didn't have a lot of time ok?" Matt said frustrated.

"I can take you guys in the Earth Driller." Allison said.

"Alright then, there's no time to waste. Let's go." I said.

We all got in our ninja suits and went on our way. Amber and Blake took the bike, Alex took the mech, and Allison took the rest of us in the Earth driller. Matt and Trent stayed back to help on the comm units and guide us through the mission. We all headed for Prime Evils Eye in hopes of getting my dad and Skylor back.

"Ok guys, according to the maps Trent found, Skylor and Lloyd are probably being held in the temple room." Matt said over the comm units. "Look for a waterfall. The secret entrance should be behind that."

"Thanks Matt. We'll be on the look out." I said.

We kept going though the forest and we eventually found the waterfall. Once we arrived there, we made a plan.

We saw security cameras outside, so Alex hacked into them and shut them down. After that, the rest of my team went to stall Harumi while Ashley and I went farther into the temple and found Skylor and my dad locked in a vengestone cage. My dad was on the floor of the cage and it looked like he hadn't been able to get up for a while.

"Ryder? Ashley? What are you guys doing here?" My dad yelled. He seemed pretty mad, but not surprised.

"Nothing, just saving your life again Dad." I laughed.

"Are you guys ok?" Ashley asked.

"Your dad hurt his back but we should be fine once we get him home." Skylor told us.

"I'm fine, where's Ethan?" My dad asked.

"He's safe, don't worry." I said as I looked at the locks on the cage door.

Ashley and I tried everything to get the lock to unlock, but nothing worked and we couldn't use our powers because the doors were vengestone. My dad tried to help but he was too hurt.

"Dad be careful." Ashley frowned.

"I'm fine sunshine, don't worry." He smiled, but I knew he was lying.

"Ryder!"

I turned around to see Amber running towards me. She looked winded, but happy.

"Amber what are you doing here?" Skylor asked.

"While we were keeping Harumi busy, I managed to grab this." She showed us the key to the cage.

"That's my girl!" Skylor smiled.

"Good job Amber." I smiled and started to undo the locks. "Now let's get them out of here."

"No, we have to deal with Harumi first." My dad spoke up. "If we don't take her down now she'll keep going after Ethan for the rest of his life."

"We can't do that. The way things are going we can only keep her distracted a few more minutes." Amber said.

"You don't know her like I do. She will stop at nothing until she gets what she wants." He said.

"Code red! Situation compromised!" Alex's voice came through my com link.

"Guys she's coming! Get out now!" Jax yelled.

"We gotta go. Now." I told them.

"We can't just retreat." My dad said.

"You said it yourself Dad. A good ninja knows when to retreat for his safety so he can live to fight another day, right?" I said.

"Oh now you take my lessons seriously?" He laughed. "Ok let's go."

We supported him and Matt and Trent were able to guide us out of the temple without being spotted by Harumi. When we made it out, we hid in the bushes and she came outside looking for us.

I peaked from the bush for a second, only to see Harumi turn into Mr. F. He radioed something and than went back inside the temple. I would have to tell my team later, they were already freaked out enough.

Our friends came around and met up with us when we got back to the place where we had parked the vehicles. Once we got there, Ashley started to heal my father's back with her powers. The rest of my team looked tired, but physically fine. Alex looked puzzled.

"Is something on your mind Alex?" Lily asked.

"I have been playing back the records of our fight with Harumi. Her lack of vocal expressions and difference in fighting style was... peculiar." He said.

"That was Mr. F. He was using some kind of cloaking technology." I told them. "I saw it when we were hiding, I just didn't want to worry you guys."

"If that was Mr. F, then where's the real Harumi?" Blake asked.

"Ethan!" My dad's eyes lit up.

"Dad, I told you she won't find him." I said.

"You don't know what lengths she'll go to." He frowned. He tried to get up but his back was hurting.

"Dad, stay still. I'm not done yet." Ashley said, continuing to heal him.

"Shouldn't we be getting him to a hospital?" Amber asked.

"No, that's too obvious. Harumi might be waiting for us there." I said. "Our best bet is to take him back home."

"Good call." Allison nodded.

"Are you ok Mom?" Amber asked, noticing Skylor was holding her side.

"I'm fine, just a little sore." She said.

"Here let me." She used some of Ashley's healing powers to heal her.

"Come on, we have to get back." I said.

Kira's P.O.V.:

I was waiting in the apartment with Wu, Garmadon, Misako, Kai and Ethan were waiting on all the kids to come back with Skylor and Lloyd. Nya had texted Kai that the mission was a success and that she and Jay were taking Trent and Matt back here, but that was all we knew. We had no idea if Lloyd or Skylor had been hurt or not.

"Is Daddy ok?" Ethan looked at me.

"He's on his way honey." I told him as I rubbed his shoulders.

We heard a car pull up outside and Kai, Ethan and I went to greet them. I saw Ryder and Allison help Lloyd out of the car and Amber and Blake were helping Skylor. Lloyd looked so tired and he couldn't stand on his own. I ran to him and Ethan gave him the biggest hug. He seemed really happy. Kai ran to his family and hugged them.

"Hey tiger." He hugged Ethan back with a smile.

"Lloyd, are you ok?" I asked.

"I hurt my back, but I'm alright." He told me. "Honestly I'm just glad you both are safe. I was really worried."

"You were worried about us?" I questioned.

"We didn't fight Harumi, we fought Mr F." Ryder frowned.

"Then where's Harumi?" I asked.

"No idea, but as long as she's out there we're all in danger." Lloyd frowned.

"We'll find her Lloyd. I can have the entire police force searching for her." Skylor said.

"Ok, I guess we can rest for now." Lloyd frowned.

"You need to rest too Skylor." Kai told her.

"It's ok Kai, I'm fine." Skylor smiled. "Where's Trent? Is he ok?"

"He was upset, but he's fine. Jay and Nya are bringing him and Matt here now." Kai said.

"Guys, you may want to come see this." Misako came outside.

We all went back inside and we saw Gayle Gossip on the TV. That was never a good thing. She hit play and we all watched.

"This is Gayle Gossip from NGTV News coming to you live from Kryptarian Prison where I'm getting reports that someone has broken in and freed a prisoner from custody. The prisoner was the recently apprehended Akamu Tanaka, who was in-prisoned for charges of kidnapping and child endangerment. Misako turned off the TV and we all looked at each other.

"I guess we found her." Lloyd frowned.

"I'm gonna call Maizy and warn her." Ryder said taking out his phone.

"Good idea." I nodded.

"If they're working together, then we have our work cut out for us." Lloyd frowned.
