Skylor's P.O.V.:

I woke up and I was handcuffed to the wall. My side was really hurting me because my broken rib wasn't fully healed yet. I looked around for Trent, but I didn't see him, which in this case was a good thing. Hopefully he escaped and got help.

I looked around at the scenery. I thought this was Prime Evils Eye. I had never been inside before but I've heard the stories that Lloyd has told me.

"Oh good, you're awake." Harumi walked up to me. "Did you have a nice nap?"

"You've got some nerve kidnapping a cop on duty." I laughed. "When I don't call in for roll call, they'll come looking."

"That's true, but by the time that happens I'll already have what I need." She smiled. "Once I manipulate that little Oni boy to do my bidding, I'll have ultimate power."

"You stay away from him!" I yelled. "He's just a little boy. He can't control his powers yet."

"Exactly, if he has that kind of raw power, then this is the perfect time to get him to work for me."

"Ethan is a good kid, he'll never join you."

"We'll see about that won't we." She smirked.

She left the room and I tried to my best to loosen the cuffs around my hands. After some maneuvering, I was able to get one of my hands free. I pulled it around but before I freed the other one, I saw a familiar looking nindroid. I would know those red eyes anywhere.

"Mr. E?" I questioned.

I kept trying to get my hand free, but he saw me and blasted me with his laser. It stunned me and I passed out...

Kai's P.O.V.:

I heard a big crash from outside and ran to see the Samurai X mech face down in the yard. It was mostly intact, but Trent was stuck inside. I got Amber and Blake to help me and together we flipped it over just enough to pull him out. He was passed out and in rough shape, but it didn't look too bad. We took him inside and set him on the couch. I tried to call Skylor and her phone rang from inside Trent's pocket.

I was so confused. Why was he here in his mech? Where was Skylor? Why did he have Skylor's phone? Did something happen to her? I needed answers, but the only person who could answer me was unconscious.

I knew Skylor's passcode to her phone so I started looking through it to see if she left any clues where to find her. There was a picture of some kind of map on her phone but I couldn't figure it out.

"Dad?" Blake looked at me. "Is Trent going to be ok?"

"He'll pull through buddy, don't worry." I assured him.

"What was he doing in his mech anyway?" Amber asked. "Wasn't he supposed to be on a ride along with Mom?"

"Wait if he was with Mom then... where is Mom?" Blake asked, now very worried.

"Kids calm down. I'm sure Trent will explain everything when he wakes up, until then just let him rest." I told them.

That calmed them down a little but we were all still on edge. We had no idea where Skylor was or why Trent came here by himself. At this point I was just happy he was safe, and had to hope Skylor was too.

About an hour later, Trent woke up in a panic. He sat up and coughed for a few seconds and caught his breath.

"Mom! We... we have to help Mom." He said coughing.

"Whoa Trent take it easy. Are you ok?" I asked.

"I-I think so." He frowned. I could see him holding his shoulder in pain. "Ugh!"

"Hey relax. You're hurt." I frowned.

"No Dad, Mom needs my help."

He tried to stand up but he was so exhausted that he couldn't. I caught him and put him back on the couch. He was still holding his shoulder.

"Amber, Blake, go get him some food, water and an ice pack please." I told her.

"Ok Dad." Amber said rushing to the kitchen. Blake followed her.

"Mom, she told me to tell you... something..." He coughed some more.

"Hey calm down, your going to give yourself an asthma attack." I said, grabbing his inhaler just in case.

Trent took a deep breath and calmed down a little. I took some bandages and a towel to make him a sling for his shoulder. Then Amber and Blake came back with an ice pack, a sandwich and a bottle of water. He looked a lot better, but still very shaken up.

"Ok Trent, can you tell us what happened to Mom now?" Blake asked impatiently.

"Guys, we all want to know where your mom is, I do too, but you need to give Trent some space ok?" I told them. "He's had a really long day."

"No Dad, I can tell them now." Trent said.

Trent took a few minutes to explain everything that happened.

"...the last thing Mom said was to tell you that the quiet one is back. I don't know what she meant by that."

"The quiet one?" I questioned.

It took me a while to remember, and then I did. The quiet one.

"Harumi!" I realized.

"Who?" Blake asked.

"Someone from a long time ago." I told them. "And she's definitely not a friend."

"Did she say anything else?" Amber asked.

"Yeah, she was talking on the phone. It sounded like she was after someone. She called him "the boy."" Trent said.

"We need to go help Mom." Blake yelled. "She could be in danger."

"Blake we can't just search all the over Ninjago without any leads." Amber said. "We'll have a better chance if we figure out where to look first."

"I know where to look. There's some pictures on Mom's phone of a few maps we found." Trent said. "She probably took Mom there. We have to get to her."

"Then what are we waiting for, let's go get our mom back." Blake said.

"No, I know what Harumi is capable of and I don't want you kids anywhere near her." I said.

"But Dad, we can't just sit here and do nothing." Amber frowned.

I didn't know what to do. Skylor was the one who usually figures stuff out and comes up with all the plans, but this time I had to do this without her. I didn't know if I could.

"Ok go pack your bags. We can't stay here tonight."

"But Dad..." Blake said.

"Go." I told them.

Blake and Amber ran back upstairs. Trent tried but he was dizzy and set back down. I knew he'd had a rough day and I wasn't about to make it harder on him.

"It's ok champ, I'll pack for you." I said.

"No, I want to go after Mom." He said holding his shoulder in pain.

"Trent, no. You need to rest."

"I'm fine." He tried to stand up again, but he groaned in pain.

"Trent Micheal Smith sit down right now!" I screamed.

That made him stay put. I'm not the kind of dad that likes yelling at my kids, but sometimes it's the only thing that works, especially if it was for their own good.

I went upstairs and packed a bag for Trent. Then I walked into my room and texted Lloyd.

————{{{Kai's Phone}}}————

Kai: Lloyd, there's something I
need to warn you about, and
it may come as a bit of a shock.

Lloyd: What's going
on? Is everyone ok?

K: I don't know. Trent went on a
ride along with Skylor and Trent
came back in his mech, but I have
no idea where Skylor is.

L: Kai I'm so sorry this is
all my fault. I had no idea
Trent was with her.

K: What do you mean?

L: I called Skylor and asked her
to investigate something Ryder
saw in Hiroshi's  Labyrinth the
other day. I just felt so strange
about it I couldn't ignore it. I
never would've asked if I knew
she had Trent with her. Is he ok?

K: He's a bit shaken up,
but who wouldn't be
after the day he's had.
He ran out of fuel and
crashed and hurt his
shoulder.

L: Tell him I said
I'm sorry.

K: It's not your fault. It's...
the person they saw.

L: They found him? Who
was behind the mask?

K: Umm... you're
not gonna like it.

L: Kai just tell me.

K: Ok, it was... Harumi.

L: That's not funny.

K: I'm serious Lloyd, Trent
said that the quiet one was
back. That's what Skylor told
him before she got captured
so Trent could escape.

L: I... I don't wanna believe
it. I don't believe it.

K: I didn't believe it either,
but it's true. Skylor sent her
phone with Trent and it has
photos of her. He said she
was after a boy, maybe Ryder
or Ethan. I thought you
should know.

L: ...

K: Lloyd?

L: Take the kids to Master
Wu's apartment. Kira will
meet you there.

K: Why?

L: Just do it. Wu will
keep them safe.

K: Don't do anything stupid!
Harumi brings out the worst
in you and if you do anything
rash then that puts Skylor in
danger too.

I didn't get a response, but I wouldn't have responded well to that news either. I then told the kids about the change of plans, carried Trent to the car and drove all three of them to Wu and Garmadon's apartment. I just hoped Lloyd knew what he was doing.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

I dropped my phone and started hyperventilating. How was she back? Who was she after? Would I be able to keep my family safe? I had so many questions and so few answers. What do I do?

"Lloyd?" Kira put her hand on my shoulder. "Are you ok?"

"Go." I grabbed the keys and gave them to Kira. "Take Ashley to my dad's. I'll go to the treehouse and warn my father and the boys. They'll meet you there."

"What's going on?"

"There's no time to explain, but you have to stay away from me." I said. "I'm the one she wants, and if she has me, she'll leave you and the kids alone."

"Lloyd you're scaring me."

"Kira, whatever happens, I love you."

I kissed her cheek and ran out to the courtyard. I formed my dragon and started flying as fast as I could to Hiroshi's Labyrinth. I didn't know for sure if Harumi was back or not, but I wasn't taking any chances.

After a few minutes I reached the labyrinth, but I was going so fast I ran out of energy and crashed on the ground as my dragon disappeared. I got up and my arm was really sore, but I could still move it a little. I kept running and made my way towards the treehouse. I saw Ryder, Ethan and my dad there.

"Dad?" Ryder asked. "What are you doing here?"

"Lloyd, you knew not to interrupt the mission." My father frowned.

"Forget the mission, we have bigger problems!" I yelled. "Dad, you need to take the boys to your place. Kira and Ashley will meet you there."

"Why?" My father asked.

"Harumi is back and she knows where you are. If she was here, she would use you all to get to me."

"Harumi? How did she..."

"I have no idea but I know it's real." I said. "You guys have to get out of here before they find you. Now go."

"But Daddy, your hurt." Ethan noticed my arm.

"I'll be fine." I smiled. "Whatever happens, don't ever stop fighting for good."

"I won't Daddy. I promise." He smiled.

I gave him and Ryder a hug and my dad took them to safety. I knew Harumi was on her way, so all I had to do now was sit and wait. I found a rag and got some ice out of the cooler Kira kept up here and used it as an ice pack for my arm. After a few minutes I heard someone coming climbing the ladder. I knew this was it.

She came up in the kabuki mask with a sword in her hand.

"Oh, you? This is actually more perfect." She said.

"Take off the mask Harumi. I know who you are." I said.

"I forgot all you ninja were all in cahoots." She took off the mask. It was almost haunting to see her face again.

"Do whatever you want with me, but let Skylor go and stay away from my family." I told her.

"Lloyd, you know I don't make deals." Harumi laughed. "Besides, you're not the one I'm after."

"You'll never find them. They're in hiding."

"Good thinking hiding them from me, but it won't matter. When they see I have something they want they'll come to me." She grinned.

"What do you want with my family?"

"Well we can't just let all that raw power go waste. Once I take the little one under my wing, I'll have everything I need for my plan."

"What plan?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" She smirked.

"Let's finish this, once and for all." I pulled my sword. My arm was in pain but I didn't want her to notice.

"Let's." She pulled out her own sword.

We fought for a while until she got me on the edge of the ladder. She pushed me off of it and I passed out as I hit the ground...

...

"Lloyd? Lloyd wake up! Wake up!" Someone yelled.

I opened my eyes and saw Skylor in front of me. I looked around and realized I was in a cage made of vengestone and this looked a lot like the temple in Prime Evils Eye. My arm was hurting even worse now and my back hurt from the fall.

"Finally you're awake. You've been out for about two hours now." Skylor said.

"Skylor, we have to get out of here." I tried to sit up but I realized how much my back was hurting. "Ugh!"

"Are you ok?" She asked.

"I won't be ok until I know the kids are safe." I said trying to sit up again, but I could barely move.

"Take it easy, you're hurt pretty bad."

Skylor grabbed me and helped me sit against the wall of the cage. She starting touching my back to see if I could feel it. I screamed as she did.

"Ok, the good news is it's probably just a spasm and this isn't permanent, the bad news is you're gonna be in pain for a while." She said.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Kai went through the same thing when I was pregnant with Trent. Speaking of them, do you know if Trent made it home ok?"

"He did. Kai's the one who told me about her." I nodded. "Trent's shaken up a little but he'll be ok."

"Thank you." She smiled. "I took a few pictures of the maps we found. Once he sees them and figures out where we are, they'll call the police and get us out of here."

"It would take every person in Ninjago to take her down." I frowned and held my arm. It was hurting really bad.

"Hang on, I got an idea." Skylor said.

Skylor saw an old empty sack sitting not far outside our cage. After enough stretching she was able to reach it, but it looked like she injured her rib again in the process. She ripped it into pieces and tied them together to make a sling. I still couldn't move it very much, but it felt a little better. Skylor had to catch her breath and she was holding her side.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, just stretched too far." She said. "You feeling better?"

"Yeah, thanks Skylor." I nodded and sighed. "Kira and the kids are going to be so mad at me."

"You did what you had to do to protect them. I'm sure they'll understand."

"At this point I just hope they're safe." I frowned.

Kira's P.O.V.:

Lloyd had left me with the keys and I did what he asked and took Ashley to his dad and Wu's apartment. Harumi didn't know about it so it was the perfect place to take them. I called Kai and he was on his way there too.

We got there around the same time they did. Garmadon landed his dragon and helped Ryder and Ethan off of it. Kai came in behind us and got helped Trent out of the car. His arm was in a sling and he looked pretty out of it. Blake and Amber also looked a little freaked out. Wu and Misako were waiting outside. I ran up to my boys and gave them the biggest hug.

"Are you guys ok?" I asked them.

"Yeah Mom, we're fine." Ryder said.

"Where's Daddy?" Ethan asked.

"He's on a mission right now, one that's far too dangerous for you three." I told them.

"Shouldn't we help him?" Ashley frowned.

"No sunshine, this is something your dad has to do on his own." I told her.

"Dad, can we go save mom now?" A weak looking Trent looked up at Kai.

"We'll save her champ, we just need to come up with a plan first. Ok?" Kai said.

"Ok." Trent nodded.

"Come on kids, I'm sure you're starving." Wu said, leading all the kids into the building. Misako followed them too.

"Kira I had no idea she was out there or I never would have taken them." Garmadon apologized.

"It's ok, I'm just glad we got them here safe." I said. "Do you think Lloyd will be ok?"

"I don't know. If he's right and Harumi is back, then she will not show him any mercy." Garmadon said.

"Trent said Skylor was kidnapped too." I frowned. "If they're in the same place maybe the police can help us find both of them."

"I already called them and sent them the pictures we found. They said they're going to look into it, but it could take a while for them to process the evidence." Kai said.

"Lloyd might not have a while." I frowned.

"Kira, I'm worried about them too, but I promise we're gonna find them." Kai put his hand on my shoulder.

"I know we will, but I just hope it's not too late when we do." I frowned.

Wherever Lloyd was, I hoped he was ok.
