Hey guys! Awesomespecs21 here with a brand new story! Now this first chapter doesn't cover everyone, but the next one will. This is simply for story setup and focusing on the newest addition and what Maizy is up to. The others will be in the next chapter.

Ok, without further ado, I present Ninjago Generations: Part 3.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

**********Flashback**********

4 years ago...

I was fast asleep in my bed and I felt someone shaking me.

"Lloyd wake up." A voice said.

"Mom, I'll clean my room tomorrow." I said with my eyes still closed.

"Lloyd, it's time."

"Time for what?" I looked at Kira.

"The baby is coming!" She screamed.

I immediately shot up out of my bed and carried Kira to her car. I took the keys and drove her to the hospital and they got her checked in. About four hours later, our little boy finally arrived. We named him Ethan Montgomery Garmadon.

It wasn't long after we got little Ethan home that we realized what we were in for.

"Oh he's so cute!" My mother gushed holding Ethan in her arms.

The baby started crying and my mother took him to his room. Kira followed them but my father pulled me aside.

"Lloyd, I have to tell you something." He said.

"What is it Dad?" I asked.

"Have you been getting any more migraines lately?" He asked.

"No I haven't had one since around the time Kira got pregnant."

"I was afraid of that." He sighed.

"Why? What are you afraid of ?" I worried.

"Do you remember when I came back from the realm of madness and I told you I gave up my powers?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Well the part I didn't tell you was that the powers have to be transferred to someone else."

"Wait, you're saying that since the powers didn't go to me, they could go to Ethan instead?"

"Yes." He sighed. "I'm sorry son. If I knew the consequences I never would have given them up."

In that moment I was mad at my father for not telling me this sooner, but at the same time I was so sleep deprived from helping Kira through the birth and getting home from the hospital that I just didn't have any energy left to be angry.

"Well we can't do anything about it now." I frowned. "If he gets your powers, we'll just have to make sure he knows how to control it."

"That's easier said than done." My father said.

"I don't care, he's my son and whatever happens to him I'll be there to get him through it, no matter what it takes."

It had been 4 years since Ethan was born. My dad and I decided to not tell the rest of the family that he might be getting his powers unless it was a definite thing. Kira didn't even know.  Today though, Ethan wasn't feeling well and we weren't sure if he was going through an elemental fever or not.

Kira and I were kitchen while Ethan was asleep in his bedroom. Ryder and Ashley were in the living room playing a video game.

"Lloyd I'm really worried about Ethan." Kira frowned.

"Kids get sick all the time, there's nothing to worry about." I assured her.

"I don't know, when the other kids got sick like this it meant their powers were coming in, but Ethan won't have any powers."

"Well maybe it's..."

"Daddy, I feel icky." Ethan waddled into the kitchen holding his favorite stuffed lion.

"Ethan what are you doing out of bed?" I asked.

Kira got up and felt his forehead. "Lloyd, his fever is getting worse. We better get him the doctor."

"No we don't need to do that." I told her. "All he needs is rest and fluids."

"Are you sure? He looks weak."

I knew Ethan needed to go to the doctor, but if I took him there they would run tests to see if he was developing powers, and if he was it would mean he would have my father's power. That would mean that we would have to start his training to resist his powers and teach him not to give in to them. It would be lot of hard work and focus for a four year old and I wanted him to be a normal kid as much as he could. But after looking at how weak my son was, I knew I had to do something.

"Alright, I'll take him to the hospital." I nodded. "You should probably stay here, I know you have to study."

"Yeah but that can wait. I want to make sure Ethan is ok." Kira insisted.

"That's alright, I'll take him." I said picking him up. "Let's go little man."

"Where are we going Daddy?" Ethan looked up at me.

"To the doctor Ethan. They're gonna help you feel better."

"Ok." He coughed.

"Let me know what they say." Kira said.

"Ok." I agreed.

Kira kissed Ethan and I goodbye and I carried him to the car. I strapped him into his car seat in the back and I jumped in the driver's side. I started the car and drove him to the doctor.

When we got there I took Ethan inside and they checked him out. He was definitely sick but no matter how many tests they ran, they couldn't find anything wrong with him. That is until they ran an elemental test, despite how much I didn't want them too, I knew it was best for Ethan.

We were there for another hour waiting on the results from his tests. They gave him some medicine to help him feel better but he was still tired, so he was asleep in the seat next to me and leaning on my shoulder.

"Mr. Garmadon." The nurse called me.

I picked my son up and stood up to face her. "Yes?"

"We got the results of the tests back and it looks like your son is going through an elemental change. Once his powers develop he should be fine." The nurse told me.

"Do you know what kind of powers he'll get?" I asked.

"Well he's a third born, so there's really no telling, but if your older kids got you and your wife's powers then it can't be either of them."

"Never mind, I know what it is." I sighed.

I thanked the nurse, put Ethan back in the car and headed home. That wasn't the news I wanted to hear, but maybe knowing about it early will help him have more control over his powers. I just hope Kira wouldn't be too mad at me for not telling her sooner.

When we got home I took Ethan inside and put him to bed. It was late so I met Kira in the bedroom.

"How did it go?" She asked as I walked in.

"It's just a bad cold." I lied. "They gave him some medicine and told him to rest. He should be alright in a few days."

"Are you sure that's all? He seemed really weak this morning."

"They did find one thing..." I sighed.

"Which is?" She crossed her arms.

"He's going through an elemental fever." I told her.

"But that doesn't make sense." She thought. "Since Ryder got your powers and Ashley got my grandmother's than what powers could he possibly..."

She thought for a second and her eyes locked on me. I knew I had to tell her.

"He's getting my father's powers." I frowned.

"How is that possible?"

"When Ethan was born, my father gave his powers up so he could come back to the family, but powers like that don't just disappear they have to go somewhere." I explained. "So when I started getting all those migraines, the powers were being transferred to me, that is until Ethan was on the way."

"So you knew about this four years ago and you didn't tell me about it?"

"I didn't want to tell you until I was sure. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." Kira took a deep breath. "So what do we do now?"

"I honestly don't know." I frowned. "I want him to be a normal kid but at the same time he has to learn to control his powers or they'll consume him."

"We have to make sure that doesn't happen." Kira said.

"I know, and we will, but how do you tell a four year old that his powers could take over his being and practically turn him evil?"

"We still have a few years until his powers come in so maybe if we train him now it'll be better for him in the long run." Kira suggested.

"Yeah, we'll sit him down and tell him, but we should wait until he's feeling better."

"I agree." I nodded.

It was pretty late, so Kira and I got ready for bed and went to sleep. I knew this was going to be a bumpy road for Ethan, but if anyone could do it, he could.

Maizy's P.O.V.:

I was with my uncle at our house. He had moved on from the restaurant business and got a new job as an assistant teacher for the local elementary school. We also had a nice little two bedroom house in the suburbs of the city which wasn't much, but it was perfect for us. I was glad that we were well off now.

We watching a movie on the tv when the channel suddenly changed. Gayle Gossip appeared on the screen in front of Kryptarian, and from my experience that was never a good thing.

"We interrupt this program for a breaking news alert. I'm here at Kryptarian Prison where security guards have reported a criminal missing. Akamu Tanaka has reportedly escaped from his cell early this morning and is now on the run in the city. All citizens of Ninjago are asked to be on high alert for this man. If you see him, do not engage and call 911. This has been Gayle Gossip from NGTV News."

I froze in my tracks seeing the mugshot of my father.

"Maizy?" My uncle looked at me. "Are you ok?"

"No." I frowned, coming out of my frozen state. "H-He's out there. He's gonna find us."

"Maizy calm down. We moved from that old house and he doesn't know about this one."

"He has his ways." I frowned. "If he wants to find us, he will do anything and everything to make sure he does."

I started to hyperventilate and the room started spinning around. I got so dizzy and my heart was beating a mile a minute. I had never felt so scared in my life. Was he trying to find me? Did he want revenge for what we did to my mother? I had so many questions that I couldn't think straight. I eventually passed out on the couch...

Zach's P.O.V.:

I saw Maizy pass out out the couch. I took a pillow and put it underneath her head. She was breathing fine, she was just too overwhelmed so I decided to let her rest and give her time to wake up.

I don't know how Akamu escaped, but I knew that he was out there and he was not happy. It's going to be hard for Maizy to deal with this. Before her father was arrested, she would have nightmares and anxiety about him and his ways. I would be there to protect her the best I could, but I could only do so much.

About two hours later, Maizy finally started to squirm. I waited for her to wake up.

"Maizy? Maizy wake up." I said.

She opened her eyes and saw my face looking over her. She set up and held her head. She looked dizzy, but I could tell she was more relaxed.

"Are you ok?" I asked her.

"Yeah I think so." She looked around. "How long was I out?"

"About two hours." I frowned.

"Two hours?" She panicked. "He could have found us by now. He probably knows where we live. He's probably on his way here. We gotta..."

"Hey calm down." I told her. "I know you're scared but there's no need to be. The police are out there looking for him and the whole town knows he's out there. If someone sees him they'll find him."

"But he's crafty. He'll find a way. There's no way he's not looking for me. We have to leave and get as far away from the city as possible."

"We can't. I just started that new job and we can't afford to pack up and leave."

"But what if he finds us?" She asked.

"Look I'll talk to the police station and see if they can give us some ideas for security measures we can take around the house, but we just can't afford a new house right now."

Maizy nodded and almost began crying. I know my niece and it takes a lot for her to cry. I took her in my arms and comforted her. There wasn't much else I could do at this point.

I know it's gonna be rough for Maizy, but I was gonna do everything in my power to make sure she stays safe.
