Hey guys, I know I haven't updated this story in a while but that's because I've not only been busy with finals, but I have honestly been at a loss for ideas.

In light of recent events in the Ninjago community, I've decided to add a new character in this story to honor Kirby Morrow and all the work he's done for Ninjago and lots of other shows that fueled my childhood. I'm not entirely sure how to include him yet and that's why it's taking me so long to figure it out.

I want the character to have some kind of relationship with Cole and his family. There's a few ways I could go about this and I want to hear your thoughts on how I could add Kirby's character into my story:

1) Cole and Seliel have another kid or possibly adopt another kid. It seems kind of late to do it this way, but it's the most obvious way to make a new character.

2) Kirby is inserted as a side character who shows up to give Cole advice and such and will act as a close family friend of his. (I haven't worked out all the details yet on this one)

3) Kirby could be the around the same age as the other kids and comes to live with Cole and his family after being orphaned/forgotten. Because I have already done a similar thing with Matt, this isn't what I'm leaning towards, but it is an option. (I haven't worked out all the details on this one either.)

Let me know which option you would like to see and share any other ideas you may have.

I understand that for most of us this is a hard thing to talk about at this time because it happened so soon, but I feel that adding Kirby Morrow into my story is the best thing I can do to honor his memory as well as his career.
