Finding Ourselves: Part 1
Hey guys! I have decided that there will only be three more chapters of this story left, this two parter and an epilogue. I know not everyone will read epilogue, but I'm just telling you now that it will be VERY IMPORTANT to understand part 3, so I suggests you read it when the time comes. Just letting you know, so enjoy the story!

Axel's P.O.V.:
I woke up in some kind of tower. I had no idea what I was doing there or where I was. It seemed as though all technology in the room had been shut down. Including an older looking nindroid laying on the floor. I decided to go the other way and found my way out of the building.
Once out, I started wandering the streets of the city, looking for anything to jog my memory of why I was there. I knew had some kind of greater purpose but what?
As I was walking through the streets people kept walking by like they were afraid of me. Why was everyone so scared? Did I do something wrong? Why couldn't I remember?
Maizy's P.O.V.:
After the Garmadon's fixed me up, Kira was giving me a ride home. I left the scroll at their house so Misako, Wu and Garmadon could farther study it.
"Thanks for the ride Kira." I said from the front seat.
"It's no problem at all." Kira smiled. "I figured you didn't want to walk home after the day you've had."
"I appreciate that." I sighed. "I'm sorry about what I did to Ryder. I don't know what came over me."
"It's ok, it all worked out." Kira said.
Kira pulled up in my driveway and parked the car. She held her stomach and was looking a little queasy.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"I'm fine, I just got a little carsick." She told me. "Do you mind if I use your restroom?"
"Oh sure." I nodded.
I got out of the car and showed her to the bathroom. A few minutes later my uncle came in the door in his work uniform.
"Maizy? Are you ok? I came as soon as I heard." Uncle Zach hugged me.
"I'm fine Uncle Zach." I laughed and pushed him off of me. "The Garmadons helped me out and Kira drove me home."
He was examining the bandages on my arm when Kira came out of the bathroom. I was a little concerned but she seemed alright now.
"Hello Zach, sorry for barging in like this." Kira apologized.
"It's ok, thanks for giving her a ride home." Zach smiled.
"It was no problem. I was gonna grab a pizza on my way home anyway. I've been craving one all day." Kira said.
"Well thanks again." Zach shook her hand.
"Anytime." She smiled. "See you later Maizy."
"Bye Kira." I waved.
Kira walked back out to her car and left. My uncle and I started talking.
"I'm sorry I made you get off work early." I frowned.
"That's ok, I was just worried about you." My uncle said.
"I told you before, I'm used to fending for myself." I told him.
"I know, but I'm here now." He smiled and looked at my arm. "Let's get some ice on that."
I nodded and walked with him to the kitchen where he got me an ice pack for my arm and made us some dinner. I told him all about the adventure I had earlier with the VKA and he told me about his day at work. I guess this is all I have to look forward to.
Ryder's P.O.V.:
My mother was giving Maizy a ride home and my dad was out my grandfather. The only ones home were with me and Ashley, but she was taking playing in her room. My mom wanted me to go with them, but I had to watch the scroll. Now that we have it, the VKA would do anything to take it back, and I have to be there when they do. My father said that it could give an elemental master an unlimited power called forbidden spinjitsu, but it was also known to corrupt them. I must admit, it was a bit tempting. Maybe just a little peak at the scroll wouldn't hurt.
As I was reaching for the scroll, I heard someone walk though the door. I quickly snapped out of my trance and ran to the door to meet her and my sister joined us. My mom walked in holding three boxes of pizza.
"Hey kids, is your dad home yet?" She asked.
"No, he's still at the park." I said.
"Oh well, more pizza for us." Mom set the boxes on the table.
"Mom, this is a lot of food for just the three of us." I said.
"I was passing the pizza place and I got so hungry I couldn't resist." She smiled.
"Hey I never say no to pizza." Ashley set down at the table.
My sister and I set down and got some pepperoni pizza, but my mom grabbed the whole box of pineapple pizza and chowed down on a slice of it.
"Mom, you hate pineapple on pizza." Ashley said.
"Well I just thought I'd... give it another try." Mom shrugged and took another bite. "It's not as bad as I remember."
I looked at my sister and she looked at me. There was definitely something going on with our Mom that she wasn't telling us.
"So how is Maizy?" I tried to change the subject.
"She seems to be doing alright." Mom said. "Her uncle came home as soon as I got there."
"Good. I'm glad she's ok." I smiled. "Did she say anything else about the scroll?"
"You know your father told you not to touch that scroll." My mother looked at me.
"I know, I just want to find out more about it that's all." I said.
"Maybe it would be better to give it back to the museum." Mom suggested. "After the stories your father told me, I'm not sure if it's safe to keep it in the house."
"I already called, the museum asked us to keep it here while they make repairs to the exhibit." I reminded her. "They also need to increase security in case the VKA comes back."
"Ok but just be careful. That goes for you too Ashley." Mom warned us.
"Ok Mom." Ashley agreed.
A few minutes later my dad and grandfather came home and joined us for pizza. It seemed like my dad had a really great time. I had never seen them that happy before in my life. It was nice to see them like that for once.
Seth's P.O.V.:
By this point, we were pretty sure Maizy wasn't coming back and we hadn't heard a thing from Axel so we no idea what he was doing. Either way the show must go on, so we were just gonna have to start the next stage of planning without them. At least we still have the...
"It's gone!" Marcus ran into the room. "The scroll is gone!"
"What?" I yelled.
"That little sneak!" Lena clasped her fists together. "When I get my hands on her..."
"Lena calm down." I said. "Axel probably caught up with her and is taking the scroll back right now."
"I don't think so." Zera shook her head. "We need something better, something that we can use as trade for the scroll."
"Not bad, but what would be that valuable to Maizy." Marcus pondered.
"I have just the thing." I smirked.
