Kai's P.O.V.:

I received a text from Nya explaining that they had run into some trouble and had to take Jay to the hospital, so me and Skylor would have to watch the twins and Allison for a few more hours than we planned on. So me, her, Lloyd, Zane, Pixal, and Misako were all running around trying to handle our own kids plus everyone else's. Don't get me wrong, I love children, but these kids were quite a handful.

"Ryder Wu Garmadon! Put that down!" Lloyd yelled as Ryder tried to pick up one his swords. It was in a sheath, but still. "My sword is not a toy!"

Lloyd picked up the sword and put it away where the kids couldn't reach it. Then I spotted Blake and Jax fighting over Blake's red dragon toy.

"Blake Raymond, you need to share with your cousin." I said.

Blake sighed and sadly handed his toy to Jax. Jax began running with it and Blake chased after him, followed by Alex and Lily.

Amber and Allison were getting along with each other and they were talking about how they were going to be ninja one day. I was happy they weren't talking about boys yet, Amber was way too young.

Then I heard Nya and Cole's dragons land outside.

'Hallelujah!' I thought to myself.

Lloyd left Ryder with Misako and ran outside to let them in. When Lloyd came back, Cole, Nya and Jay were there.

"Hey guys." Jay said.

"JAY!" All the grown ups said in unison.

"Daddy!" Both of the twins ran up to him and hugged him.

"Hey kids, were you good for your Uncle Kai and Auntie Skylor?" He said.

"They were perfect little angels." I said.

Just then Allison ran up to Cole and hugged him.

"Hey Cupcake." Cole said.

"I missed you Daddy." She said.

"I missed you too. Did you have fun?" Cole asked her.

"I did."

"I'm glad." He said.

"Kids come here." Skylor called over our kids and they came over to her. "This is your Uncle Jay. Jay, you remember Amber, and this is Blake."

"I remember, wow Amber you've grown up so much." Jay said to my daughter. "It's nice to meet you Blake."

"Hello." My son said.

"Hey Uncle Jay." Amber said.

"Thanks for watching them guys." Jay turned to me and my wife.

"It was no problem at all." I said. "How are you feeling Jay? Nya told me you were in the hospital."

"Better than I've felt in a long time." Jay said. "Don't worry, I'm not sick anymore."

"Glad to hear that." Lloyd said.

"Well it's getting late and Jay needs to rest." Nya said.

"Keep in touch sis." I said giving her a hug.

"Jay, Nya?" My wife turned to me, Jay and my sister. "If Jay needs some time to rest then we can take the twins home with us tonight."

I smiled and nodded my head in agreement. I was honestly really tired after watching all the kids all day, but I knew my sister and Jay probably needed some time to themselves for at least one night after everything they've been through.

Jay and Nya looked at each other thinking about our offer.

"I think we'll take you up on that." Nya said. She turned to the twins. "Hey guys. Do you wanna have a sleepover with Amber and Blake tonight?"

The twins started to jump up and down with excitement.

"I'll take that as a yes." Jay laughed. "Be good for your auntie Skylor and Uncle Kai ok?"

"Yes Daddy." They said at the same time.

"Thank you guys so much." Nya told me and Skylor. "We really appreciate it."

"No problem." Skylor replied.

With that, we all said our good byes and me and Skylor took our kids and the twins home on our dragons.

When we got there, Skylor and I ordered the kids pizza for dinner. Skylor ate a whole large pizza by herself, which was unusual for her but I knew better than to question her. Afterwards I thought the kids would be tired after playing all day, but boi was I wrong.

These kids still had so much energy left. They were running around chasing each other all over the house playing games like tag, hide and seek and the floor is lava. I figured they would tire themselves out eventually, but for now I was happy the kids were having fun with their cousins.

"The kids sure are having fun, aren't they?" My wife said.

"Yeah." I said "It was a really good idea to take them in so Jay and Nya could relax."

"Yeah, I thought they could use a break, they've been through a lot." Skylor said. "Plus we have to get used to having more kids around to get ready for baby number 3."

"Yeah."

My wife just stared at me for a few minutes not saying anything. I felt like I had said or done something wrong, but then I thought about what she just said.

'Baby number 3?...' I thought about it... then I realized what that meant. 'Ohhhhhhh, she's pregnant...'

'...'

'OH MY FIRST SPINJITSU MASTER SHE'S PREGNANT!'

"Wait WHAT?!" I panicked. "You mean you're... we're gonna... WHAT?!"

She smiled and nodded. I felt like I was going to faint.

"Kai?" She looked at me. "You ok?"

"I think I need to sit down." I said.

"Geez, you'd think after the first two kids you'd stop fainting." She joked.

"Hey, I'm not unconscious yet." I said hyperventilating now sitting on the couch.

"Relax, we can do this." She said sitting down next to me trying to calm me down. "I think we can handle another kid."

"I know we can, it's the next nine months I'm worried about. No offense but you're not the nicest person when you're pregnant."

"Hey!"

"Relax babe, I'm kidding." I smiled.

Yeah, I wasn't kidding. When she was pregnant with Amber she was cranky all the time and ate almost everything in sight and with Blake it wasn't much better. But I put up with it, and it was so worth it in the end. For that I was willing to help her with whatever she needed to make sure our baby boy or girl was happy and healthy.

"Do the kids know?" I asked.

"Not yet, I wanted to make sure you knew first." She answered.

"So I'm the only one who knows?"

"So far."

"I can't believe it." I took a deep breath and stood up. "We're having another baby!"

"Shh!" My wife said. "The kids don't know yet."

"Oh sorry." I whispered. "I'm just so excited."

We suddenly realized how quiet it was. I peaked into the playroom and all four kids had run out of energy and were asleep on the floor. Me and Skylor took Lily and Jax, carried them to the couch and tucked them in with pillows and blankets. Jax snored just like Jay which I thought was hilarious.

We went back into the playroom and Skylor picked up Blake and laid him down in his crib, then I took Amber and carried her into her room and put her to bed.

After that me and Skylor got ready for bed.

"Good night babe." I said as I kissed her cheek. "Good night little one."
I smiled and kissed her stomach.

Then we got into bed. Skylor was extremely tired so she was out like a light, but as for me I couldn't sleep. I stayed awake almost the whole night, thinking about the new baby. I was excited to have a newborn in the house and Blake was going to be a big brother. This would change everything, but for the better.

Morning came and I got the kids up and ready to go. I tried my best not to wake Skylor and got Jax and Lily ready to be picked up.

I made breakfast for all four of them and in no time Nya came to pick up the twins. I wasn't sure if Skylor wanted me to tell anyone about the new baby yet, but I was terrible at keeping secrets, especially from my sister.

I walked outside to greet my sister. She could tell I was excited about something.

"Hey bro." She said. "Thanks again for watching the twins, I hope they weren't too much trouble for you."

"They were no problem at all." I said. "How is Jay doing?"

"He's doing fine now, I just came to get the kids by myself so he could get finished cleaning the house."

"Oh ok." I said. "They're inside getting their stuff."

"Kai, you seem excited about something. What is it?"

"I can't tell you yet."

"Ok then, well I guess I'll just get the kids and get out of your..."

"Skylor's pregnant!"

I blurted it out and immediately covered my mouth. I couldn't hold it in any longer. My sister's eyes lit up as she had obviously heard what I said. She smiled.

"WHAT?! Really? That's great!" She hugged me. "I'm really happy for you guys."

"Thanks, I'm so relieved to finally tell someone."

"How long have you known?"

"I found out last night." I told her. "But the kids don't know yet, so don't say anything. Also I'm not sure if Skylor wants anyone to know until we tell them."

"Alright, I won't say anything. Anyway congratulations."

"Thanks."

The twins came out of the house, said goodbye to me and flew home on my sister's dragon. I was so happy my sister knew about the baby.
