Cole's P.O.V.:

I woke up to a text from Seliel, which that was unusual, so I figured it must've been important. So of course I texted her back:

Seliel: Hey.

Cole: Hey is everything ok?
You usually don't text unless
It's important.

S: Yeah, I just wanted to
tell you something, but
I didn't want Allison to
find out.

C: Honey cake, you're
scaring me. 😳

S: Relax, I just wanted to tell
you that I'll be in town next
week for Allison's birthday. 😅

C: Oh yay! I can't
wait to see you!😘

S: Yeah me too, but you can't
tell Allison. It's a surprise. 🤫

C: Ok. I won't tell her. I
actually have something
to tell you too.

S: What is it?

C: Allison is showing early
signs of elemental powers.

S: Really?! She's getting your powers?! That's awesome!

C: Yeah. She's going to
be our little earth ninja.

S: Awe our little girl is growing
up! I can't wait to see you two
again. I'm sorry you've been
doing this all by yourself but
you're doing a great job rocky. 😘

C: Thanks, I know how important
it is to you that the people of your
village and your dad are safe.

S: Yeah, I'm sorry things are
taking so long, but we're almost
done, and then I'll make up for
everything I missed. I promise.

C: Allison and I are doing
just fine. No need to rush.

S: Thank you. See you
soon rocky boy. 😜

C: See you then. Love you.

S: I love you too.

I was really excited about Seliel's visit. It was going to be really hard to keep it secret, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise for our daughter. In fact I didn't know what Allison wanted to do for her birthday this year. I've always liked birthday parties. Because where there is a party, there was usually cake.

Just then Nya sent me a text:

Nya: Cole you'll never
guess what happened!

Cole: Hello to you too. 😝

N: Sorry I'm just excited.

C: Why? What happened?

N: Lloyd found Kira!

C: KIRA?! You're kidding!

N: Nope, I just talked to her
yesterday. I'm meeting her,
Lloyd, Ryder and Misako
for breakfast today. If you
don't believe me, you and
Allison are welcome to come
along if you want.

C: Sure, I'll believe
it when I see it.

N: Fine, you wanna
make a bet? 😏

C: Not with you. I'd lose.

N: Good boy. 😂

C: I'm not a dog Nya. 😑

N: I know, I'm sorry
I'm just so excited!

C: That's ok. I'm excited too.
I just found out that Seliel is
coming next week for Allison's birthday!

N: Really? That's great!

C: Yeah! I really missed her. But
it's supposed to be a surprise
so you can't tell her. 🤫

N: Great, more secrets
I have to keep. 😓

C: What do you mean
'more' secrets?! 🤨

N: Oops! 🤭

C: Oh my gosh, are
you pregnant?!

N: NO! I love my kids,
but NEVER AGAIN!

C: Ok, Then what is it?!

N: Fine, but I'm only telling
you because Lloyd and Kira
already know.

C: So... you ARE
pregnant? 😲

N: ITS NOT ME! It's Skylor.

C: OHHHHH.
😱 That's great!

N: Yeah! But no one's
supposed to know yet. 🤫

C: Then why did you tell me?!

N: Because you... Ugh
never mind 🙄

C: 😂😂😂

N: Ok well I'll see you and
Allison at 10:00 if you're
coming. It's the cafe in
Ninjago City.

C: Ok, see you there. Bye.

N: Ok bye.

So with that I got Allison up and dressed and ready to go. Then we headed to the cafe to meet Nya and the others.

Kira's P.O.V.:

I paid the cab driver as we pulled up to the cafe. Then me and Ryder got out and I saw a familiar looking dragon pull up and saw Cole and his daughter riding it. I had almost forgot about Allison, she was Ryder's age and like him she had grown up a lot.

Cole put away his dragon and helped Allison off. Then he walked to both of us.

"Hey Kira." Cole said awkwardly.

"Cole!" I hugged him. "Wow it's great to see you again."

"Nice to see you too." He smiled. "Hey where is Lloyd? Wasn't he supposed to be here too?"

"He's helping Zane with something." I lied. "He'll meet up with us later."

"Ok." Cole said. "Oh Kira, you remember my daughter Allison right?"

"Wow Allison, you've gotten so big!" I said to her.

"Yeah well." Allison said.

"So is Seiliel still around or...?" I asked Cole awkwardly.

"She's still in Nom with her father." He said. "But we're making it work."

"Alright." I said. "So are we waiting on Nya, Jay and the twins?"

"Here they come." Cole pointed at the sky.

I turned around and saw Jay and Nya flying in on their dragons and they had Jax and Lily with them. At first I didn't recognize the twins. It had been so long since I've seen them and they looked a lot older than when they were babies.

Nya and Jay landed their dragons in front of the cafe and helped the kids off. Then Nya ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Nya!" I exclaimed. "It's so nice to see you again."

"I've really missed you Kira." Nya said excitedly.

"We both have." Jay said.

"Jay!" I gave Jay a hug. "So nice to see you."

"It's nice to see you too Kira." Jay smiled.

"Mommy, who's that?" Jax asked Nya as he pointed to me.

"Jax, Lily, this is Kira." Nya explained. "She's Ryder's mom."

"Oh wow you guys have gotten so big." I smiled.

"Um thanks?" Jax said confused.

It was ok that they didn't remember me, they were only a few months old the last time I saw them.

"Anyway, now do you wanna tell us how you showed up now?" Jay grew impatient.

"Well it's a long story and I'm starving so let's get a table first and then I'll tell you." I said.

"Good because I'm starving too." Cole said.

"Of course you are Daddy." Allison said as she rolled her eyes and Jax, Lily and Ryder laughed.

We walked into the cafe and they seated us at a table towards the back. We all set down and they got us our menus. We also got kids menus for Allison, Jax, Lily and Ryder. Then we all ordered our food then the waiter came to me.

"I'll have the big portion breakfast with extra eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns." I said as the waiter took my order.

"Geez, wherever you were you must not have had much to eat." Jay pointed out.

"I don't think that has anything to do with it Jay." Nya said. She obviously knew what was up.

"What? I'm just hungry." I said. "That's all."

"Ok." Nya said, obviously still suspicious. "So where have you been?"

"I don't know if you're gonna believe me or not but I've been trapped in a teapot for three years." I laughed.

Nya and Jay looked at each other with scared looks on their faces. Like what I had just said sparked something they didn't want to relive. Cole was looking like he knew something too.

"Oh we believe you." Jay said.

"You didn't happen to run into an evil djinn did you?" Nya asked.

"Yeah he's the one who trapped me." I agreed. "How did you know that?"

"Let's just say we've met him before." Jay said. "And he's not a friend."

"You have? When?" I asked.

"It's a long story." Nya told her. "But where he is now he can't do anymore harm to anyone ever again."

"That's a relief." I said.

Just then the waiter came with our food. As soon as he set my food down, I thanked him and started to scarf it down. I couldn't help it. I could tell the others were starting to get suspicious, especially Nya. Nya was my best friend, and she always had a way of finding out these things.

"Uh Kira?" Nya asked. "Is everything ok?"

"Of course." I said with my mouth full of food. "What makes you say that?"

"Because if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were..." Nya stopped. "Wait, are you...?"

"Nothing gets past you Nya." I winked and Nya smiled. "You were always the smart one."

Cole and Jay looked at each other and shrugged, I think that meant they didn't know what we were talking about. Which was a good thing. I didn't want everyone to know before Lloyd got here because Ryder didn't know yet and I'm sure he wanted to tell him about the baby together. I wasn't surprised that Nya figured it out though, in fact I'd be more surprised if she didn't.

"So where is Nadakhan now?" I asked, trying to change the subject before the boys got suspicious.

"I dropped him off in Kryptarian Prison once Nya wished for him to turn into a human." Cole told me.

"So that's why I got out when I did." I realized. "His magic must have worn off when you turned him human, and the teapot along with it. Good thinking Nya."

"Thanks, but it was really Jay's idea." Nya smiled at Jay.

"Awe thank you sweetie." Jay smiled back.

"I still don't understand why he was taking the forms of all those villains in the first place." Cole pointed out.

"Well why don't we ask him ourselves?" Jay suggested. "We know he's at Kryptarian Prison, and he's pretty much powerless. A good old fashioned interrogation might be able to give us some answers."

"I'd be up for that." I agreed. "I'd love to give that evil genie a piece of my mind."

"I agree but what about the kids?" Cole reminded us. "We can't just bring them with us."

"Oh that's right. There's tons of villains and thugs in that place that would do anything to get their revenge on us." Nya whispered. "Even if that means going through our kids."

"Nya's right, it's too dangerous." I agreed. "Where are we going to find a babysitter on such short notice?"

Just then Lloyd and Misako walked into the cafe and joined us at the table. I had my answer.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

Me and my Mom were on our way to the Cafe to meet with everyone. It took a lot of convincing but I finally talked her into it. Once we arrived, we set down at the table with the Walkers, the Brookstones and Kira and Ryder.

"Lloyd you made it!" Jay said.

"Yeah, hey guys." I said.

"Hey Daddy, Hi grandma." My son said.

"Hey Ryder, are you having fun?" I asked.

"Yeah!" He exclaimed.

"That's great." I put my arm around Kira, who was munching on a piece of toast. "Kira, my mom knows." I whispered.

"Oh ok." She swallowed. "Did Zane find anything?"

"It's a long story. Zane recorded some data and he'll let me know if he finds anything."

"Ok then, let's hope for the best." Kira said.

"It's good to see Llira back together again." Cole smiled.

"Llira?" Me and Kira looked at each other.

"Yeah, you know Lloyd and Kira, Llira?" Cole explained.

"Please don't call us that." I said.

"Awe I think it's cute." Kira smiled at me.

"Ok, fine. For you." I gave in, I secretly thought it was kinda cute too.

"What's wrong Lloyd?" Nya said to me. "You look really tired."

"Yeah, are you ok?" Cole asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just tired." I replied.

"He didn't get much sleep last night." My mom said.

Then the waiter came to our table and asked me and my mom what we wanted to eat. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered small plate of bacon and coffee because I was so tired. Then my mom ordered a bagel and some herbal tea. The waiter brought us our food and I felt so much better after I had that coffee.

"Did Kira tell you yet?" I asked all the adults while the kids were busy coloring with their kids menus.

"Nya figured it out." Kira told me.

"Figured out what?" Jay asked.

"Oh so just Nya knows?" I looked at Kira.

"Knows what?" Said Cole growing frustrated.

"Well I wanted to make sure you were here when I told Ryder." She told me.

"Told me what?" Ryder looked up at us.

Me and Kira looked at each other and then back at Ryder. Cole and Jay were still confused as well as the other kids, but Nya looked excited. We decided to tell them.

"Ryder, you're gonna be a big brother." Kira smiled at Ryder.

Everyone was shocked as she said this, except for my mom and Nya.

"What does that mean?" Ryder was confused.

We all giggled at him.

"Lucky." Allison scoffed at Ryder.

"Having a little sibling is hard." Lily said. "You have to set a good example for them, and in return they blame you for everything."

"Hey! You're only 8 minutes older than me!" Jax yelled.

"Yeah, but that means I'm also 8 minutes smarter than you." Lily laughed as Jax crossed his arms. Allison and Ryder were laughing too.

"So I'm gonna have a little brother too?" Ryder asked.

"Or a sister." Kira smiled.

"Wow." Ryder sounded amazed. "I'm so excited!"

"Well I'm glad Ryder." Kira smiled.

"That's great guys." Cole exclaimed.

"Yeah I'm really happy for you." Jay said.

"Thanks guys." I said. "That means a lot."

"So Lloyd, why were you at Zane's again?" Jay asked me.

"I'll tell you guys later." I said. "Trust me I'm fine."

"Ok." Nya said. "Well we were going to go to Kryptarian Prison to see if we could get some answers from Nadakhan and see why he was taking the form of all of those villains."

"But we can't bring the kids there, it's way too dangerous." Cole said.

"Cole's right. That's no place for a child." My mom agreed.

"If you guys want to go question him, I can watch them for a while." I suggested.

"Are you sure honey? You didn't sleep well last night and you need your rest." Kira said.

"Of course, I can handle it." I said. "Besides I gotta get used to having more kids around the house."

"Are you sure Lloyd?" Cole said. "No offense, but you're not exactly great with children."

"Hey, Ryder turned out fine." I told him.

I looked over at Ryder and he was trying to pick the blue berries off his pancakes and throw them in the air to catch them in his mouth.

"What? Kids will be kids." I shrugged.

I looked at Jay and he was trying to do the same thing Ryder was with his food.

"Jay!" Nya looked at him.

"Oh so he can do it and I can't?" Jay said as Nya rolled her eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll be there too." My mom smiled.

"Ok then, if Misako's gonna be there I guess it's alright." Cole said.

"It's ok with me too." Nya said. "I trust you Lloyd."

"Thank you Nya." I said.

"Lloyd?" Kira looked at me. "Are you sure you wanna do this? Handling four kids is a big responsibility."

"Of course. I want to prove to you that I can do this and that I'm ready for this baby." I kissed her on the cheek.

"Honey, of course I know you can do this. I just want you to get your rest right now."

"Kira, I'm fine. I want to do this."

"Well ok, but be sure to call us if there's any problems." Kira said.

"Of course don't worry they're safe with the green ninja." I said trying not to boast.

Soon, all the kids said their goodbyes to their parents and me and all four kids piled into my Mom's car and she drove us back to the monastery. I knew that this was going to be hard, but I figured that this would be a good way to take my mind off things. Besides, I was Ninjago's greatest protector, how hard could it be?
