Zane's P.O.V.:

We were watching Cole's dragon while he, Seliel and Allison made a quick trip to Nom. I was happy to do my friend a favor especially since Seliel was staying with them for a couple more months. I knew how badly Cole wanted her to stay, so I was happy to help my friend with whatever he needed. Plus I thought it would be nice for Alex to learn some social skills by babysitting a dragon.

However yesterday I saw a news report where Lloyd explained how he had found his father and how he saved his son's life. In return he was setting Garmadon free, but something didn't feel right about that. If Garmadon was good again, then who was making Lloyd have those visions?

I was reviewing the results I got from his tests a while back. The machine had recorded what happened in his nightmare and had converted it into a video. I kept replaying it over and over again but it didn't spark any ideas. The only thing I knew for sure was that this was... unnatural. It was like someone was trying to make Lloyd see this image of him hurting Ryder like that. Was it a vision, a warning, or just shear coincidence?

"Dad?" Alex walked in on me.

"Yes Alex?" I said.

"I think the dragons hungry." He said.

"I'm a little busy here son, there's some leftover stake in the fridge she can eat." I told him.

"Ok Dad. Come on girl." He headed for the kitchen with Pebbles walking behind her.

I continued my analysis of Lloyd's results on my computer and then it hit me. The only one that could possibly have done this to Lloyd, is the only other relative of his that I know of that would be capable of this.

I tried for hours to get more accurate results, but as hard as I tried it was proving impossible.

"Hi dear." Pixal said as she walked in on me. "What are you doing?"

"I am second guessing myself." I sighed.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Remember how figured out that Lloyd's nightmares were his father's doing?" I asked and she nodded. "Well if Garmadon wasn't the one behind them, than it has to be someone else. Someone with similar DNA to Garmadon's."

"How is that possible?" Alex asked as he walked into the room.

"Oh Alex this is a bit complicated for you." I said.

"What is complicated father?" He asked as he looked at me.

He sat down next to me and looked at the computer. Then he was able to get results.

"It seems that Lloyd's father was not the one behind this, but it does seem that only an Oni would be capable of this." Alex explained.

"What do you mean Alex?" I was curious.

"It seems that this wasn't a vision, but a warning. Whoever was behind this was trying to warn Lloyd about a possible future event."

"Is it definite?" Pixal asked.

"It could be, but I don't know."

I couldn't think of anyone else with that kind of DNA. It was definitely part Oni and part dragon so if it wasn't Garmadon, it had to be someone related to him. The only people that came to mind were Ryder and Master Wu, but that didn't make sense. A five year old isn't capable of something like that and Wu passed on a long time ago, or so we assumed.

He had gone looking for Lloyd's father just after Lloyd and Kira got engaged, but he had never returned. We all assumed with his elder age that he had passed on. Lloyd even gave his son the middle name Wu in his honor and memory. Perhaps Wu's disappearance had something to do with Lloyd's nightmares? This was too big to keep to myself. I had to tell Lloyd.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

"Ryder Wu Garmadon! Get back here!" I exclaimed as I was chasing Ryder through the monastery.

It was time for Ryder to take his medicine for his wrist so he could get better, but he didn't want to. He was supposed to take it every night for a week or until his wrist got better. This was how things had been going for the past few days.

"You have to catch me first!" Ryder stuck out his tongue.

Then he ran into the bedroom where Kira was and she came out holding our son by the shirt.

"Ryder you shouldn't be running around like that." Kira told him. "Now do you want your wrist to get better or not?"

"Mhm." He nodded.

"Then you have to be a brave little boy and take your medicine ok?" Kira picked him up.

"Fiiiiiinnne." He rolled his eyes. "But I won't like it."

Kira led Ryder into the kitchen where he reluctantly opened his mouth and Kira gave him a spoonful of medicine. Then Ryder swallowed it and gagged a little as he ran back to his room to pout. Kira gave me a smile.

"How did you ever survive without me Lloyd?" She smirked.

"I honestly have no idea." I laughed.

I was a little out of breath from chasing Ryder and my arm was still hurting from when I broke it. Most of the time I was able to ignore the pain, but the more I moved around the more it hurt. It also didn't help that I was so stressed about my nightmares again. I couldn't help it though, I'm a dad and a father's work is never done.

"How are you holding up?" Kira asked looking at my arm.

"I'm alright." I assured her. "Ryder just gave me a run for my money that's all."

"I can see that." She giggled. "Here let me help."

She readjusted the sling around my arm. It did hurt a bit at first, but then it felt better.

"How's that?" Kira asked.

"Better thank you." I smiled.

"No problem." She smiled. "Are you worried about checking in on your father today?"

"I won't have to, the news people have been covering him 24/7. They're trying to make sure he doesn't try anything."

"I thought he wanted to see you today?" Kira reminded me.

"He does, but I'm worried." I admitted.

"About What?"

"Think about it. My father said he wanted to talk to me in person, and I had that same nightmare last night. If he's not the one behind them, then who is?"

"I'm sure things will work out." Kira assured me.

"I'm not so sure." I frowned.

As if on cue, Zane sent me a text:

Zane: Lloyd there's
something you need
to know.

Lloyd: What is it Zane?

Z: remember those results
I got from your nightmare
a couple months ago?

L: Yeah.

Z: Have you had any
more nightmares since
your father returned?

L: I was just telling Kira
that I had one last night,
but other than that no.

Z: I was afraid of that.

L: Why? What's going on?

Z: I don't want to stress
you out, but it doesn't
look like my initial
analysis was correct.

L: What do you mean?
Nindroids are always
right. Right?

Z: Even Nindroids make
mistakes Lloyd. Alex
discovered that this
villain is not Garmadon,
but someone else.

L: Who do you
think it could be?

Z: I do not know, but
whoever it is they
have to have the same
DNA as your father.

L: So that narrows it down
to me and Ryder, but that
doesn't make any sense.
I'm certainly not doing
this to myself, and Ryder
was in my dream so it can't
be him either. Plus he's 5.

Z: Well there is one other
relative of yours it could be...

L: You mean my baby
that isn't born yet?

Z: What? No, I
meant master Wu.

L: But isn't he...?

Z: Maybe not. His whereabouts
were unknown after he went
looking for your father. Perhaps
he can provide us with more
information?

L: I doubt it. If he knew
anything, he would've
told me by now.

Z: Alex and I will look into
it and see what else we can
find. Just try not to think
about it too much.

L: Thanks. Bye Zane.

Z: Bye.

"Kira." I looked at her. She knew something was up.

"What is it?" She asked.

I handed my phone to her and she read the conversation between me and Zane. She was shocked.

"You mean Wu could be alive?!" Kira whispered.

"It's the only thing that makes any sense." I shrugged. "I'll just have to see what Zane comes up with."

"You ok?" She noticed how freaked out I was.

"Yeah, it's just a lot to take in." I sat down on the couch. "If Zane and Alex are right, and it's Wu, then why that vision? What does it mean? Was he trying to warn me? Is he setting me up? What if something or someone turned him evil?"

"Honey calm down, the last thing you need is to be stressed out right now."

I could feel another panic attack coming on. I could hardly breath. Kira sat down next to me and rubbed my back. I took a few deep breaths and calmed down. Once I did, I hugged her so tight. How on earth I went on this long without her I had no idea.

"I seriously don't know how I survived without you, but I'm glad I don't have to anymore. I love you." I started to tear up.

"I love you too." She said. Then we shared a kiss. "Why don't you go lie down for a bit?"

"No, I can't." I sighed. "I have too much to think about and what if I have that nightmare again?"

"Whoa take it easy." Kira calmed me down. "Just try to get some rest, you'll feel better and I'll be right here if you need anything."

"Ok." I sighed. "If I'm not up in a few hours, please come and wake me ok?"

"Sure." She agreed. "Sweet dreams."

"Thanks." I smiled.

We shared one more kiss and Kira helped me into our bedroom and laid me down in the bed. Then she left to go watch Ryder.

As hard as I tried I couldn't get myself to fall asleep. I stayed awake for hours trying to figure out who was behind my visions.

A few hours later Kira came to wake me up, but she didn't need to. I didn't sleep at all.

"It's time to see your father Lloyd." She said helping me out of bed. "You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." I sighed.

"Did you sleep ok?" She asked.

I shook my head. "Not at all. I don't get it! It's so hard to me to sleep and I don't know why. It's just a stupid nightmare! I should be able to handle it!" I got so stressed my arm was hurting again. "Ahh!"

"Lloyd take it easy." Kira calmed me down. "Here let me get you some ice."

She left and came back with an ice pack. Then she gently placed it on my arm and it hurt.

"Ouch!" I screamed.

"Sorry honey." She apologized. "You know, all this stress really isn't good for you. Maybe I should come with you."

"I would like that more than anything, but my father asked for me alone." I said "Plus I'd hate for you and the baby to get hurt."

"Oh right." She remembered. "Well you shouldn't have to go alone."

"But I do. That's what my father wants." I sighed.

"Wait, how are you getting there? I don't want you forming your dragon in your condition."

"Well I could use a ride I guess." I smiled.

"We'll all go to take you." Kira smiled.

"You're not taking no for an answer are you?"

"Nope, you know me better than that." She winked.

The whole family ended up going with me to meet my father. I really didn't want them to, but I was kinda glad they were coming with me. It was a relief to know that they always had my back and I expected nothing less.

When we went to Kira's old hideout where my father was, he wasn't happy that the family came with me, but they waited in the car while we talked.

"So what did you want?" I asked.

"I didn't only come out of hiding because I wanted to be set free." He told me.

"Then why?" I wondered.

"I came to warn you about my brother."

"Wu? But isn't he..."

"Not exactly." He interrupted.

"What do you mean?" I yelled. "I don't understand."

"You know those nightmares you've been having?"

"Wait, how do you know about that?" I wondered.

"Because it's happening to me too." He sighed.

"What?" I was shocked. "What exactly happened in your nightmare?"

"Well I end up killing you and torturing your son for the rest of his life." He explained.

"And that's a nightmare for you?" I raised an eyebrow.

"It didn't used to be, but eventually it scared me enough to change my mindset. Once it did I realized that I remembered who I used to be."

"Why would Wu do that?" I asked.

"He wouldn't that is what concerns me." He said. "Lloyd, we may be dealing with an Oni."

"But we defeated them all, besides you, me, and Ryder there aren't any Oni left."

"Not exactly." He sighed. "I may or may not have brought a few of them back by accident."

"Dad, what have you done?!" I exclaimed. "This puts all of Ninjago at risk! What if they come after my wife, my son, my baby! We have to do something about this. Now!" Then my arm started hurting again. "Ow!"

"If the very thought of them hurts you then..."

"No it's not that, my arm hurts when I get too stressed out." I struggled. "It's fine."

"Son, you're in no condition to take them on all by yourself." My father said.

"I'm not gonna fight my uncle anyway." I told him.

"It's not your uncle we're fighting, it's what's controlling him." My dad explained.

"And that is...?"

"That's the part I can't figure out, and I need your h..." He mumbled.

"What was that?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I need your heeeelll..." he stuttered again.

"Are you trying to ask for my help?"

"Yes, that word." He said.

"Alright fine I'll help you." I agreed reluctantly. "But only because I wouldn't want anything to happen to my family. My real family."

"I don't either, that's why I cannot do this alone."

"So if Wu is alive, where is he?"

"I don't know, but where ever he is, it can't be good." He frowned.

"Well we gotta help him!"

"There's nothing we can do until we know where he is." My father sighed. "Just recover from your injury and I will let you know when I find something."

"Fine, I'll see if Zane found anything too."

It was quite awkward when we said our goodbyes, but we both basically said see you later and then I walked back to the car with Kira and the others. They were asking me trying to figure out what father said to me, but I was too shocked, panicked and sleep deprived to answer anyone.

When we got home I went into my bedroom and laid down. I was looking up at the ceiling and started to think things over. I wasn't sure what to do. I couldn't think straight.

I took a deep breath and started to doze off to sleep, well more like I passed out. I had a dream.

"H-help me Lloyd." I heard a familiar voice say. It sounded exactly like master Wu.

"MASTER!" I woke up and screamed.

"Lloyd?" Kira ran into the room.

"Kira." I looked at her. "Master Wu IS alive, and he needs my help."
